Lorgar didn't know that though and thought that he was going to show the Emperor how he was wrong about there being no Gods...

Also I think my cup of tea is starting to go cold...
  4. You do realize that by that time he was aware the Emperor was lieing, bringing this info to him would be akin to committing suicide on behalf of his entire legion. Basically, that would have been retarded.

He didn't want to teach the Emperor a damn thing at that point.

Well if the Word Bearers had gone to Terra met with the Emperor then removed there would have been a fuck load of history to hide...

Even then it would have been to enlighten the Imperium about the so called Gods that were waiting for Humanity. It wasn't just to tell Big E about it but to tell the Imperium.

Lorgar wanted to do it without violence.

I probably just typed something incorrectly at some point... This headache is killing me...
  6. You do realize that the Emperor had the Custodes spying on the Word Bearers, they never would have made it to Terra they would have been stopped by a fleet. Not to mention, look at what happened, the Emperor basically showed up, metaphorically bitch slapped his son who literally worshipped him, and his only explination was another "just shut up and obey me." What part of that implies he's open to discussion?

Maybe if he bothered to talk with his son and explain things, why he thought they must be and the dangers he was hiding, that would opened the door to talk about his monumental lies, but the Emperor demanded absolute faith. The Word Bearers were the embodiment of this, and he broke their faith in him. That's his own damn fault.

Yeah after the Ultramarines burnt down that favoured world of the Word Bearers the Emperor had I think it was three or five Custodians to keep an eye on Lorgar and the Word Bearers.

I think Lorgar wanted to just show the Imperium and Big E but some people do try and change someone's mind even though it is like talking to a brick wall...

The Emperor made many mistakes but I haven't read First Heretic in a few years so I'm a little rusty on my knowledge exactly of what happens apart from certain stuff that sticks and then I usually have the facts a little off from what they're written as but I think generally I get the basis right...
  8. But you called him Schizophrenic, and I said he wasn't.
Then you tried to argue the point.

Can you direct me to the background that supports that?
Because I'm basing what I say on the story The Crimson Fist, and the novel Angel Exterminatus.

But I didn't. I was talking about the Night Lords.
Plus my views on the Primarchs differ.
