Y'know, I'm in the camp that it's not so much about race as it is about social class. You don't hear about wealthy African-Americans being similarly harassed in the manner these young men that get posted all over the news are. Unfortunately, thanks to a variety of sins in America's past, a large portion of the black community in the US is near, at or below the poverty line. Which, in all honesty, poor neighborhoods like that are where most of the street crime (note that I said street crime) takes place. Not to say that race isn't a factor at all (there's certainly some racial discrimination going on, here in the US), but I feel like class warfare is somewhat downplayed by the media and the internet in general.

Thank you, that is all I wanted to do my own thing without people hating on me for it. I would ask you just avoid my shit because you dislike it rather than making it sound traitorous. That is pretty much the current generation if not what all younger generations are like when they see the authorities. I'm sure some officers have seen the red mist from someone insulting them they've beaten a youngster or protester but I think if anyone was in the Officer's shoes they'd see they'd have done something similar. It is a 06:01 at the moment...
