    I'm quite sure that not everyone who fought for the Confederacy were pro-slavery, and there may probably have been Abolitionists on their side.

  2. I highly doubt that, I am part Australian, part Portuguese, part German and part Scottish (Obviously the last two are very minor) and therefore doubt any of my family have fought under the American flag

    Its a thing about southern culture, or something...

    I live in the south though I never really see the point of it either, Its not that they support slavery and what not (Though some might), they are just proud of being "southern" or something like that, kinda like how some people are proud of supporting a certain american not-soccer team

    Yeah, catholic church is responsible for a lot of deaths and suffering throughout the history, no doubt about that.
