Evil?!? After countless offerings to Khonre I've been called A LOT of things,... but EVIL!??! The shiny Imperium of Man is responsible for more human death than any Chaos incursion! The Inquisition nukes worlds from orbit every time somebody sneezes in the wrong direction. Every time a SM Chapter heroically and selflessly purges a world from the threat of xenos they leave a barren, desolate, lifeless rock in their wake, leaving the remaining scraps of population fearing THEM more than the xenos they purged. Eldar farseers sacrifice entire systems of humans to save the remains of a handful of their own only because they kinda made an oopsie a few millenia ago and are ki~inda responsible for the newest addition to the Chaos club (nobody ever asked poor 'Nesh whether or not he wanted to be born into this world... they forced it on him... her... IT whatever and now they whine). Orkz breaking entire systems apart because they don't know which button on the Destruct-o Bitz 'Uge Stompah they have to press or simply for waaagh. And that's not mentioning the Dark Eldar and their evil-for-the-sake-of-evil practices... And you dare call US EVIL?!? Of all the races in WH40K Chaos, Necrons and Nids are the least evil, because the latter two are at least honest and direct about it and worshiping the Gods has that whole duality aspect - where there is slaughter and carnage in the name of Lord Khorne there is also honor and valor. He does value the skills of a warrior and sanctity of battle and possesses nobility and martial honor that even the most zealous of Loyalists strive for, ultimately. So much so that he frowns upon the offering of the weak and helpless and grants his gifts only to the most worthy of warriors. Same for the others - corruption and mutation comes with enlightenment and timeless knowledge. Nurgle is actually a nice guy who wants everybody to live long and sturdy lives and Slaanesh... well, he is kinda new to the whole thing so he is still grasping the basics... But even he... or... she or whatever will give give give give until you are satisfied... and then some... So take that back!
