Well there is not much we can do about that unless we don't buy Space Marine miniatures. BT lost its range of miniatures when it got rolled on the main SM codex :/ Will eagerly wait for some news from Miguel.
i think (but have no real confirmation of info only my speculation) that GW have some BIG problem about copyright with some recaster/other miniature company that create and sell black templars miniature/bits for conversion. probally many black templar fans buy from other company miniatures and convert the miniature to black templars. So GW don't want to promote black templar because know that TT player prefer other company/recaster so GW is losing money. So basically Black templars risk to be squatted for a lack of revenue and for a black templar fan fault
As far as I know Citadel and Forgeworld produse all minis. We still have HQ( helbert, grimaldus, emperors champion) and official conversion bitz, look at GW site or have I missed something? Farsight. You're not only tau fan there
the most common reason for people to buy from other company or from recaster is because they sell cheaper minature
If say like this than even tau, orks, sm and all other are affected by this, still it isn't critical to them as to BT because of bigger range of minis
Im unaware of something like that happening. And if it is happening it is not just BT issue I reckon. If also GW updated the Upgrade sprue to fit the new marines... What is happening is that GW is taking another direction with BT. Their fluff has been changed a lot. Read the Eternal Crusader by Guy Haley. I dont mind the change (unless we get librarians thats a no go) if it augurs good things for the templars. They still have a strong following and if they get some new minis it will sell like hot chocolate on a cold winter day. Your move GW. I have some bucks ready to spent on BT. Emperor worshipping as come to stay.
yes but GW can't have problem when people buy GW/forge world miniature(they take the money) so the problem can only be external company/ recaster. if not that i have no idea why GW have problems. GW don't want people to convert their miniature with their conversion kit? make no sense.
We believe in you but don't let down us or we will do our eternal crusade with Black templars and Tau . What about BT based stuff(chains, robes, aegis helmets, lanterns etc) in rogue trader or in game shop. I know it is extra work for you but I think much of BT fans would like to see this. BT stuff + Imperial fists(hope you won't remove them from vote)= sigismund?
