    Sons of Dorn"

Guys, I don't think we researched very well. All the loyalists scum is staring at us.

I forgot the Wolves break the limit too (actually, before I said the Knights I typed Wolves, then I said no, that's wrong, but I was actually right on both counts; how stupidly ironic there in a post about irony) though I didn't think by that much; I'll have to re-read the lore. I didn't even think it was close to that many maybe a couple thousand over; I don't doubt you at all, I just didn't know. Actually, ALL of them are over/under iirc just not by large margins. I dunno, it's been years since I read in depth. Just getting back into the Lore aside from the online games. Haven't messed with tabletop or books in forever, too expensive (yes, I know that's debatable, I've heard the arguments).

The most likely reason for not adding Templars is because like the World Eaters, they are too specialized in CQC. They have no librarians, they rarely field devastators. The only difference between them and the SW and BA is that both of those chapters field librarians as well as plenty of devastators. That and the fact they'll want to focus on first founding chapters instead of just one second founding otherwise everyone will question why BT were chosen even by popular demand instead the hundreds of other chapter that others like.
  4. That's pretty much how I feel as well. Besides, what would the Templars bring to the table, game-wise, that BA and SW can't? (I actually have a few ideas about this, though) Each chapter they include should have its own speciality, otherwise it'd just be redundant to have them all.

I would have really liked to see the Templars in the game though, but I can live with it if they're not.

Space Wolves LEGION still exists. It's just divided to 12 (13) "Chapters", like Sun Wolves, Iron Wolves and such like that, counting in strength of a normal chapter. So IT IS some kind of divide, yet, all of them are under Grimnar, who takes a seat of a Great Wolf after Leman Russ and later Bjorn.

  6. the thing is--black templars DO wield heavy weapons...

Isnt the bt psyker thing changed in the new codex?
  8. Not that i don't believe you ,but what heavy weapons may that be? Or do you mean on vehicles?
  9. Tarr Tarr Subordinate

Heavy weapons, accurate for devastator in use of Black Templars? Heavy Bolter needs alot of aim and being steady. Plasma Cannon is highly dangerous in use, slow, but devastating. Lascannon is acurate, but either slow and dedicated to fight vehicles.

No, imho, Black Templars shouldn't have any of those, due to their combat doctrines.

Psykers among Black Templars? That is heresy of a higher level!
    Tjeknalis and Puriel like this.

I think the new codex made it where they tolerate psykers in their midst but don't employ them. So they wouldn't have a problem working with another chapter even if they had tons of psykers.
