Except, we're not your buddies and we don't know you. I come from a rough environment too, in-fact a lot of my friends/family are in the military, law enforcement or other. But they all still know what respect is. If some stranger were to randomly start trash-talking me in public, he's akin to make me angry, and probly wants a fight. How's that the kind of buddy-buddy trash-talking that's meant as fun? So I think the main point here, is that no matter where you come from, or who you think you are; everybody deserves the same level of respect. *edit: not that I agree with people being aggressive about their "favourite toy"
currently reading this, its pretty good. had to get used to Ben's writing style after just finishing Steve Parker's Deathwatch. if youre interested in IF stories though, the first novel ever written for the 40k universe was " Space Marine" which was all about the IFs, but was written at a time when the fluff was in flux (fluxxy fluff) and because of that a lot of stuff has since been removed. still an interesting read to get a snap shot of the 40k verse when it was but a few years old. Sons of Dorn was about some scouts, never read it, fuck scouts. there are also several IF characters in the various deathwatch short stories in the omnibuses. Maximmion Voss is a bad ass in all of the Talon squad stories (though not the most predominant character) id highly recommend Headhunted, Exhumed and Deathwatch by Steve Parker. all available at black library. not exactly Imperial Fist stories, but until recently there werent many options for that.
W/E. We're obviously not getting them @ this point. Most of the AMA was garbage anyway. Half of it was dominated by a few peoples questions who wouldn't shut the fuk up and hence we ended up getting a lot of stupid crap answered IMHO while more legit stuff never got answered. Hell, in two AMA's I (nor others) never once got anything addressed about what they're doing about security (and other issues, just for example) multiple times, across both AMA's. They skipped right over it while answering the second part of a question. Seems they wanna avoid that topic at all costs. "Fluff" disguised as "inside info" was all it really was. If it's too early to tell us things in development, it's too freakin' early... it's that simple. That was half the answers. It's early, we're working on it. We don't know yet. Not complaining, giving a little dose of reality.

As they want to promote close combat black templar seem like a sure deal , yes they won't have devastators or psykers but there are 4 other chapters to play them lots of mmos have differnt classes for their races or factions and they do use psykers in other non-combatant roles, such as Astropaths and Navigators. They just don't like them because psykers are too close to the warp for comfort on the battlefield ,this is similar if chaos ever wants the world eaters
We just have to wait and see. Meanwhile gonna start on tt next month with some dark angels and chaos. In the long run we will have juicy updates and a beta. Just want a good rewarding game, despite all this chapter hate/rivalry going around.
its all friendly rivalry from my perspective anyway. no matter our chapter choices we all know who the real enemies are.
There Is a friendly rivalry but there are some amongs us trying to plant the seeds of chaos and that may work against Imperial fists due to bitterness. I would like to avoid those situations.
