So the Orks are apparently just better Space Marines...

  1. I'd say it is balanced with their firepower. The sponsons have awful fire angles, but anything that enters this area is as good as dead.
The trukks also drive like a drunk squig, but it's more an annoyance than a real handicap.

I honestly don't find ork accuracy to be an issue at medium or short range, and if I'm engaging any farther then that I'll be using the Ace Dakka or a Kannon. They've got a good gun game, a strong melee game, and they're naturally tougher then everyone else. I find my ork my strongest of all my rank 5s. *Except in the tank hunting department and support, but I don't play supports so I don't comment on that.*

That said, Dok needs love, and I wish they had a better melta/fusion equivalent for anti-tank hunting.

I like those stunts as long as we don't look like stunties!

Still don't think you read one thing again. I'm talking about suitability of a class. Stop bring in weapons even after i said they have nothing to do with this. Yes so they take '2 bullets' more, so they are tougher aren't they? Seems you are not taking full advantage of your wargear, cause i can, and i assure you i can soak up more than 2 bullets for days. When it comes to a 1v1 stand off against a shoota's counterparts be it tactical dire avenger or traitor, i usually win those if there are no other forces at play meaning no plasma rain.

Oh and I find all factions have there terrible bunch of players, who will not use there wargear or tactics properly. Pinning it on one faction is just a sign of elitism and a large superiority complex. Yes LSM have shit players, but guess what, so does everyone else!

Tried the ork ordinance? It can't aim side to side while standing in place like LSM/CSM nor does it have a turret to do so like Eldar. It also has the work battlewagon controls of being on a slip and slide, this makes it MUCH more difficult to use than all other races ordinance vehicles.

Battlewagons have their limited field of view, and poor firing arcs. Which isn't that bad considering their dps potential. The problem comes back to handling, its hard to actively put multiple guns on target besides the main turret because you are driving like your on a slip and slide. Where as keeping a side gun + main cannon on a Predator facing a single target is not all that hard or unrealistic and it also has its light turret uptop also on target.

Trukks vs other APC's are fine. They are a pain to drive, but it can actually be fun, and the gun turret uptop is actually decent even if harder to use than the other factions options. I can live with how the Trukk is, I can't live with how the Battlewagon and Ordinance are... as it stands I'm pretty off just being on foot than using either of those two pieces of garbage.
  7. Sorry to break your dreams, but no, you're not doing anything special. Everybody knows how to stack wargear.
Math has be done before by many people. If I remember correctly, base tactical marine needs 9 or 10 bullets from a bolter to go down, fully maxxed tankiness ork needs 13 to go down against same bolter. At 333 RPM, that's less than a second.

So you don't soak up bullets for days, actually you soak up bullets for something like 0.6 or 0.7 seconds max longer in a fully maxxed tankiness ork shoota compared to a basic, level 1, tactical marine...

Like I said, yeah Ork is da toughest, but we all already knew that. That's their thing. Is this OP? Absolutely not.
For LSM the trade-off is having more tactical solutions to apply damage.
Your tough ork may win at close range a firefight against a LSM, but at 30m the LSM would probably win because of a better accuracy on his bolter. Balanced.

Because you said it doesn't mean it's true, in fact, it's quite the opposite since that's how faction are balanced.

Orks got tankiness, LSM got better weapons options. It's not that hard to understand, is it?
What 's next? You'll tell us Eldars are OP because they have more speed than anyone else? Or CSM is OP because they have marks and nobody else does? I wonder what is the word in "asymmetrical balance" you do not fully understand.

    U mad bro?

LSM has the larger player base. And at the same time has more trouble getting good teamwork.
Play 10 games as orks or eldars, and read the chat carefully.
Play 10 games as LSM, also read the chat, and you can check by yourself, thats people are a lot more focusing on insulting each others instead of working together and using their arsenal.
There is no such thing as elitism here, that's how things are.

Oh boy and I hoped not to talk about how just the LSM are the least powerful faction in fact in the game, but hey, bring Eldar into it too! Let the elitists worm their way out of the hidey holes...
