Wanna know something cool? The physics engine isn't glitching out at all when stuff like this happens. The physics engine is simply following the pre-programmed instructions for how objects in the game should behave in this situation. The cool part is that if the real-world universe operated under the same physics engine, the exact same thing would happen in real life.
Didn't they touch on this in last weeks Twitch? I think it was something along the lines of, its constantly being worked on but its bastard hard to fix.
Honestly, I'd rather them not fix it. It's hilarious whenever it happens. "Not a bug, but a feature" etc.
I managed the same thing with a Kannon yesterday several times, occasionally they would fly off at high speeds, sometimes it would just bump them a few meters. Seems to be linked to projectiles across the board.
Had this last night while playing my CSM, was driving a rhino and SOMETHING exploded sent my rhino flying (thankfully not that bad maybe just 30 feet or so) was like WTF?! than the same thing happened to another rhino right as I was landing, but he went flying into a lava pool. edit: AH after seeing Saeritan's post might of been it, was against Orkz
I've had moments like these in my Wave Serpents. I've actually come to fear plasma guns more than power fists.
