Why cant we just get a M rated game that in the game Options you can turn off blood and gore, and that its default setting is T rated.

Blood and Gore are the least of our worries for maing a game T or M rated, should be based on the fact that you shooting people, or shoving Chainsaws into people, the day we get news that a Kid shoves a Hedging Saw into his brothers face is the day people wake up that its not the Blood and Gore but the Acts of violence that really should set the Rating of a game.... hell even if there was no blood it dosnt change the fact that you are shooting people.

Even harsh language is moot compared to Blood and gore, or the act of killing people with guns or swords, and yet THATS what parents see there kids using and doing that they don't want, what kind of world do we live in were children using foil language is more important to parents then your child killing people.....

In the END, A rating on a game dose not really matter at all anyhow, a lot of parents are going to buy and play games more so then kids now a days, and if then by default the kid sees there parents playing the game, is that not the same as them playing it, I don't see any parent waiting tell after there kids go to bed just to play some GTA, and more likely that the Parents and kids both play GTA reguardless of Game rating.

SO I vote R rated brief nudity, blood, gore, and animated violence(nudity comeing from Dark elder and slaneesh)

Hey, if old Travolta movies have taught me anything, it's that Xenu is our lord and savior.

Wait. Alright, if they've taught me any TWO things, I could include this nugget of wisdom I've gained from Be Cool (Get Shorty was better)

"Do you know that unless you're willing to use the R rating, you can only say the F-word once? You know what I say: Fuck that. I'm done."

Meaning that even with a stunted rating, you can still get a Precision F-bomb out of it for shits and giggles. Won't be enough for Eternal Crusade, but...mmn. More you know.

  5. They said a possibility to add the gore in a DLC, it is kinda a workaround from getting an M rated game. It is also something that takes some effort into doing, would rather they keep on working on other stuff and later create the gore than paying any attention to something that won't change anything.
  6. They better make it cost 1 RTP to make up for it.

The rating system isnt really going to stop teens from playing if its rated T or M ( we are going to have 12 year old no matter what). It may effect the exposure on which sites and magazines might cover it though. It just might be so many resources and to much for the server to handle. If you got 3-400 people on a battlefield and half of them explode at once it might cause some game breaking lag. I dont like it but I can see the reasons behind it.
  8. they are under stricter rules if the game is Rated M thats the big reason i beliebe they not going that far. Easier to deal with

  10. The point behind the rating system is *not* the players it targets.
Its the distributors. Walmart and a lot of stores won't carry an M rated game lowering you distribution.
