The only thing I'd like to add : please is it possible that "fuck" "shit" and other impolite wording disappear from exchange between dev and customer? Precision of language does a lot to mutual understanding.

i know that can appear as a nosense to civil and mature people but: there is a lot of idiots on the internet, i'm not talking about shitposter, troll, enraged mobs, social jusrice warriorsn etc etc...

i'm talking about dangerous idiots.

sometime can appear that the forum is a gentleman club where members wears top hat ans monocles.

sadly sometime happen that one guy is really crazy (and think that it's fun or other stuff) to send message with death thread insults menace etc etc etc...

it's sufficent that there is the 0,00001% of people like this ( that are not easily ingnored and avoided)


i think that is easy to imagine how many forum pm social network message a dev can recive, in the middle of civilized one imagine how many tons of nosense proposal and insult a dev can find in the inbox.

imagine how much time is needed to check all the message to answer all the message how much time is needed only to filter the good one, and that in addition of the basic workload.

and the EC community is small imagine in large community.


there is a reason why the the question to the devs are filtered by the Q&A team (and filtered again by the dev), or filtered by katie on the question from the stream topic.

sometime people don't realize that what they say to dev it's like when a random guy try to explain to a surgeon the correct procedure for a brain operation. "the procedure is wrong i know the patiente will die istead do that procedure i definitely know i've read a lot of stuff about brain surgery on internet".
(and that are the civilized one).


so when a dev is on defensive mode probally there is a real reason and is not "i'm palnning to destroy your dream and made a shitty game by ignoring the community, and btw i'm one of the illuminati"
