When? I don't remember telling you anything. Dedicated Ork melee works fine, plenty of SM, CSM and Eldar players manage to kill me. The Choppa does not always stun, I believe it stuns if the player uses a strong attack. Just like the mace for SM/CSM. SM/CSM can clang fine with the weapons too. I've had it many of times. If you want to talk about melee, perhaps we should discuss how the Ork Dbash is tiny and has the range of about half a yard? Perhaps we should discuss how LSM always seem to instantly recover and roll out of my Dbashes if by a miracle I hit.
Not only SM, most of dedicated melee classes 50% time rolls away from bash. And I will repeat, that ork melee is bugged looking from both perspective. Things sometimes do what they shoudnt do.
I got a recepi for LSM how to win melee - Get that wolf priest. Loot boxes till you get a flaming mace of Opnes. Just quick attack everything. Man I played a game and priest wolf got 60 frags. SUPPORT. 60 FRAGS.
Wait, you mean people don't have an avatar for each faction? If you roll only one faction, it's like playing 1/4 the game.
I can't tell you why the charged choppa stun , but it stun on backstab while the target is moving and standing for exemple. It's not reliable , it doesn't always happen and from what I tested it looks like you can stun from any angle but only if you didn't got hit for a period of time before the charged. They should serriously take all the classes from each faction and put things on the same line for the duration of animation of all the attacks, leap distance , dodge traveling distance, recover from dodge , recuperation time from stun, kick etc. Then if one of them is problematic for animation reasons or assymetrical balance or else. They add/leave advantage and tell the player what's what. The biggest issue for me is that you don't know what's happening most of the time, like when you smach the dodge button when you get stun and have, for no reason, a random chance to get out of it instantly.
I will keep this bumping till the end of time..Or till Brend reads it. Already asked Noah to send him this link. Lets pray the Emperor he will come to see it.
One weapon type being broken does not make the faction OP, it's silly to claim that. If we use that logic LSM are OP because rites of fire instagibs you and PC is a beast. You can see the map and do the math how OP Orks really are, we do take more beating to put down but that is fairly well countered with our crappy aim and pretty much zero reliable AV. I hate to be the "git gud" guy but adjust your playstyle to those facts and Orks will go down like anybody else. I do agree that Ork axes are broken and our dbash sucks hard because it's short ranged as hell and works like 1 of 3 times but when it does it's hard to anticipate, but Orks in general are anything but OP.
People are saying Plasma Cannon is broken, It's the only weapon allowing Devastator/Havoc to survive the Melee Fiesta that the game is. And I'm not talking about the Charged Shot killing everything. I'm talking about the Dbash into Triple fast Shot in "Single" mode simply because the PC is the only weapon not having 2 seconds of preparations before starting firing.
Going off the livestream last week most players don't; 50% of all players are LSM, 25% are CSM, 13% are Orkz, and only 12% are Eldar . Which is a shame really, since the best way to learn how to counter the other sides is to play as them for a little bit and pay attention to how you do and what feels different.
Ork animations all looking basically the same from the opponents point of view is nothing new. We have been saying this since Orks went live. It's all from the shoulders down. Their wind up for fast attack, strong attack and Dbash are all very similar.
