I like EC, otherwise I woudnt spend 900 hours on it. But for now I have nothing more to do here. 3 weeks since launch and I achieved everything in the game. Reached level 6 (without plasma weapons), won various types of games with my guild and with pugs. Topped various scoreboards with shield and more important - with bolter, killed and executed myriads of enemies, unlocked everything in advancement tree, opened all boxes. In 3 weeks...The fears we voiced several months ago now becomes reality - there is nothing to hold you on this game for long. No storyline, no interesting campaign and not a word about future relations between those too. Im writing this not from salt, but from sudden realization - I can live with OP factions, I can live with small bugs. I can live with crappy tacticals. Its annoying, but livable. But the same lack of goals would be the same if we would have everything fixed. Terminators coming? Cool. Occupation for 2 weeks. What than? Cosmetics - ok, would it hold you for long? Not sure. We must have something more serious to achieve. For now I dont see that in our road ahead. Maybe its my problem with reality of lobby shooters - I have never before played one for more than several hours. Now I understand the amount of rage when people heard it wount be real MMO I will come back after a month to check on everything, but I dont hold any hopes even in simple improvements. Developers obviously lack human resources to push updates quick enough to satisfy casuals and probably wount have any spare coins to hire more people to work on storyline and its real implementation into the game, not even talking about connecting it to future short stories or anything in that direction. I pray for the best, still And have a nice fights on Arkhona (even you, pesky eldaritos )!
If Developers, don't think so, listend to this words... they'll notice that ain't no time if they don't listen to the players base. They seem to be the enough arrogant to not listen wisely. Don't know if they haven't got time, money or workers. You are the first of many in the following days or weeks.
Actually come back next week! The next patch should have some nice things plus more things to unlock and balance!
What the hell is that moderately-shiny grey thing grabbing his right hand? They didn't have robotic arms that looked like that when MASH was made, did they?
Is there an update with individual, team and guild campaigns coming in? Or is that in November hence the self imposed exile?
