I semi-understand the decision to make them 1-life, even if I don't agree with it. But...

Why do they get a skull marker on their names to the enemy now? They're not as tough as they appear to be, so making a big marker for even the newest of players to focus fire them down with incredible ease seems a bit much...There are other indicators already of an elite, so making it blatantly easy so people don't get themselves killed biting off more than they can chew is making the one life of an elite even tougher.

well being a strong and well versed user of the Veteran Class. I would say the marker is there so people know that guy has to get downed first. Its very important, since usually I can stay alive the entire match without dying.

Some players just dont know that its very important to take out the veteran, especially if he is in a skilled player's hands. Though I do not entirely agree with the target above our heads, I can very easily understand why its there. Even with it being there I cant really say it does harm to me. Put a giant neon sign above my head, it still wont give the enemy a better chance. All enemies die the same, all too easy.

I wish I had that target above my head all the time. Bring it! Yep thats right get close enough to see my challenge token too right before I execute your ass and all your friends are murdered.

I always wanted some sort of sign above my head just for wearing the Challenge Token. No one even notices it, and its standard on all my classes.

Now? They've always had this indicator, ever since they were first added. As for being focused down, it's rather difficult to focus on the one guy with a veteran marker over his head when there's 4 of them

I'd vote no, and make the "extra" effects of the Iron Halo/Sigils/Burning Rune permanent on the veteran classes (with the visual effects as well). That way, you can clearly identify them by a glowing visual on the model. It would look better than a giant red triangle TBH.

Voted "no", but it makes them great distractions. Show your face somewhere (or rather, your skull-flag), run off and play the Benny Hill Theme while running away as fast as you can. Rest of the team will surely appreciate the empty cap point rooms.

well the original concept for "heros" was to have them have a "god-light" beam illuminating them (similar to how your squad leader is highlighted) but thats capable of being seen by the enemy ...

which is a hell of a lot worse then having some little skull over your head when they can already see you in LoS,

the "god-light" would of shown them where you were across the map, behind buildings etc etc

Nope, vets had a brief period with no markers. Ah, the good old days.

Voted No. The whole point of all the visual upgrades to them was to make them distinguishable in the field. I have really hated the markers for a while. I'd rather have to recognize my enemy then just have him be perma highlighted for me.

I voted Yes, because in GvG fights it is crucial to be immediately aware of what it is you are facing. Doubly so if it's entire Veteran rush coming for a point.
  10. "Shoot here!" tags over enemy heads in any PVP game is lame. It's hand holding and spoon feeding at its worst. It's a really poor concept for a game like EC and this type of hand holding in a video game caters to the youngest of gamers(6 to 12 year old crowd).

It's just too bad BHVR doesn't poll their players at the log in screen, then consider what players want in prior to making such terrible changes to how the game plays.

It's the same unwanted, unneeded type changes we saw with the death cam and Bolters for Wolf Priests. These are changes that most players DO NOT WANT yet here they are in game.
