Okay guys its offical there will be a sniper type weapons in game so my question is space marines and eldars have their sniper-scout units.but orks and chaos ?? i never seen a chaos scout-sniper unit.orks have kommandos but i never seen ork sniper either.
It would actually be refreshing to see races without snipers. So maybe Orks and Chaos won't have any? Diversity and all that. But do marines have snipers outside of scouts ? Never heard of a power armored fella sniping from a distance. Because if they do so would chaos. Or it would be some cultist.
I didn't know this was the case but I like the idea of not having equivalent classes and trying to use your class's very different abilities to outwit what the enemy are fielding. For example.... Imperium have snipers and chaos don't in ec .... But they might be able to call in ordinance from obliterators instead to displace the snipers..... .
I would prefer races to stick to their strengths, Chaos and Orks don't need snipers they just need brutal melee.
Chaos already have some sort of stalker bolter or somthing like that. Orks are kinda tricky, seeing as their weapons dont have "scopes" (As far as I know of anyway) so I guess orks wont get a sniper like weapon since accuracy just isnt their specialty
i dont think there will be a sniperclass more a class with an option to use a sniperweapon like the tactical marine
Chaos had Stalker Pattern Bolters in Space Marine Multiplayer? And what about Flash Gitz? They have targeting sights/squigs etc...
In Space Marine both Loyalists and Traitors had stalker pattern bolters. I have no idea what Orks use for long range.
