It means, that you have to make a list for all the different sub-'factions'. i.e. hebrew angel names for the dark angels, roman/greek names for ultramarines, nordic names for space wolves etc. Do Eldar have different?
Eldar are pretty much all Elvish style. No big difference between the Craftworlds. But the thing with the sub-factions is no problem really. Rather making the Ork one will be fun
I am also greatly in favor of more than a "single" name, as most MMOs have. Especially if I can call my Space Marine - Henry "Trench" Weatherwood -, which is a name I have loved since my immortal trencher in Iron Kingdoms (RPG). As most of you already have pointed out, the "more than one name" policy is both lore friendly and adds a more depth/personality (?) to your characters. Although a lot of people won't care about a feature like this, you should still make it. Since a lot of small good features can greatly improve a game. "Little strokes fell great oaks". Important question (sorry if this is the wrong place to ask it): Will we be able to use "unique" letters/symbols from other languages than English/Classic A to Z alphabet? I would absolutely love to be able to use the Danish Æ, Ø and Å, especially because it can't call my character Jæger (Hunter) without using them
miguel already 'confirmed', that there will be no unique letters, because its one server policy worldwide. you will play with people not of your language.
Okay, I hoped it would be like in WoW, where it is possible. Although this could give some troubles with countries like Russia, where they use a completely different alphabet.
