You will never, in a billion years, prove such a thing because this thread would just devolve into a series of people constantly posting screenshots of each other over and over again that no sane human would ever sort through. Though my personal opinion is that, yes, the Chaos community is more toxic then the Space Marine one at the moment. That's on us to clean up, telling other people that they are the real aggressors and that they are just as bad only makes that harder to do.
But you can't fight proof can you? There is like 1 to 3 occassions each day when Chaos clans insult some other Chaos clan or even less pubs. That guy just caught that one occasion thinking it will show that we do it all the time or something when in reality it's us just throwing back the things they keep throwing at us like more than 10 times a day! So no, the numbers say SM is definetly more toxic. Logic and facts I'm afraid stomp Moralizing.
I just dont get where everyone gets their "Eldar are toxic community" cause I have never met anyone so toxic without him being deserter from other faction. Seriously, I am paying attention, acting like a player, not an arrogant elf. I really want some extra evidence. In any way, you can never say who is toxic more. IF someone says something on SM side, no one cares. No one pays attention if he is from guild or not. CSM says something, thread about that guild. Orks says something, no one cares, cause Orks. Eldar who is not even in guild says something - whole RACE IS RESPONSIBLE AND TOXIC AS LOL COMMUNITY. Seriously people, you want us to behave better? HOW can we behave better if everyone acts like underdeveloped monkey and denides our point of view? Why should I act nice to someone calling me toxic for no obvious reason? I am starting to think that word is used more inaccurately than words "Fascists, Fascism, Rascist, Rascism". Yea, the family 40k. Like one big crazy family.
Unfortunatelly this is happening in many matches. I am sorry that on forum we can argue but insults are not so common but in game some are loosing their nerves. I think there should be some bans for a courple of days for being offensive.
Kharn, I can't even recall the last time a Space Marine clanner hurled an insult at me specifically. I remember Ragnar saying gg to me about five billion times, MAD doing the same, does PG's whole somewhat snooty psudo-latin way of saying 'leads the way' count?....No...?.... Probably not. Why does the Chaos community have to engage in that behavior? even if they are 'worse' why do we have to throw it back at all? Why can't we just continue with our lives like sane, dignified, human beings?
No, there shouldn't be bans for insults, there should be bans for a specific person CONTINOUSLY insulting someone in-game and that person recieving A LOT of complaints about it. A ban for each cuss word is really... not... what any game has...
Well look at the screenshots, all of them were in 1 timeframe, in 1 day. If we played for a week the page would be so long that the browser would crash from loading all of them. And there IS a clanner in there! It's not ALWAYS that it happens, but you can literally see that it happens quite a lot. It's easy for you to say cause LASH isn't the one involved in this. If someone made a thread saying "LASH INSULTED US ONCE IN 1 GAME THEY'RE ALL BAGS!" wouldn't you even try to defend and say that you either had a reason or even do the same thing as I do and say that they throw insults a lot more with proof? If not, that's your problem, not ours though, stop attempting to change what we want! And please don't say "We don't insult people like that" as I've seen times on discord that some of your members did some insulting words to even some Chaos people!
Every second match aganist Space Marines goes as far as calling us wankers which is really 2000´s insult, which is even worse.
That's why it's very important for guilds leadership to take a stance and try to enforce it to the best of its ability. If you let your people openly trashtalk and won't do anything about it, or take a "we don't care" stance, our own leadership will basically assume that's it's utterly useless to PM you guys to settle things down. I think this whole drama should be used as an opportunity to reflect about this. I cannot talk for Demetry, i'm not an officer, but personally, I would rather be confident in the fact that both our leadership can contact eachother about people crossing the line rather than having to rely on this kind of "mob justice". PuGs/Guildless people trashtalking should be ignored, not worth our time. Guild members action reflect a lot more on our respective groups and factions. For the rest there are simple things such as saying "BG" if my Eldar team won through skimmer exploit or calling out people for doing so.
And i'm sure plenty of people could collect screenshots of Chaos doing it 7 or 8 times a day, or 10, or 20, maybe more, I play much of the weekend and I simply never see it from LSM or not very much. Here's the thing Kharn: Someone has already made that thread, or specifically that post. Where a Lash member was seen doing something not befitting of the faction, and intially I defended...being a pretty young GM at the time...but then I caved, I stopped, I reprimanded the member, and then I apologized because it was a bad thing to do. When Lash members were hurling insults at the Eldar I didn't even wait for the thread to appear, I sent an apology to Asheru because it wasn't cool whatever I thought of those Eldar players. Not even because of PR, but because it was the right thing to do and we could of acted better then that. And it is my problem, because I said, this whole thing looks bad upon Chaos as a whole. It would of been easier to apologize, or simply ignore if your principles didn't allow it, but now it's escalated.
