"Was there ever any doubt, i would allready have redeemed any fallen soul before we would arived here" Addec said, he could see that the sister hospitaller was averting looking at him, a thing he made a mental note of until he could get back his black book, along with the rest of his gear, it was allmost blasphemous for him not to wear his mask when he was on his duty.
Emirys nearly sobbed at the Sister Hospitaller's words. She knew by far that she hadn't had the worst experience, that prize easily went jointly to Alexandra and Arerina, but the fires in her minds had hinted at a darker, and sooner, end to her life-journey.
At last the Canoness came forward with her own personal medicae at hand along with a pair of attendant servitors. Reese faced this trial as she had half a dozen times before with stoic silence marred only by a visibly strained attempt at maintaining her composure, otherwise stone faced expression screwing up with pain beneath shimmering waters until she emerged steaming and scalded several seconds later. With everyone whom had survived decidedly free of physical taint they were left to the healing touch of the Sisters Hospitaller. Reese took one look at Eris and spoke. "Feel free to play fast and loose with the tranquilizers if anyone proves disruptive. " Tone level and eyes locked firmly on the elder woman if would of been hard to pick out any obvious targets of this little piece were it not for certain parties arrogance. The next few days would be ones of relative peace in the Med-Bay now that they didn't need quarantined, when they were cleared to move about as they wished and return to their daily routines. It was but a week later after their initial descent that the Sisters were already preparing to leave, having found little left to purge midst the flooded hives. With a subtle thrum of engines vibrating the ship with its initial lurch they started forward, gellar fields flickering to life in preparation of warp travel. As it stood their next destination was a mystery to all but the upper echelons though no doubt it would have something to do with the recovered artifact. OOC: More free time during warp travel and such, if ya wanna interact with the ship or NPCs just emote and tag me aye. @Vulpas @lord-watchman @Grall_Stonefist @Avenging-Angel @Shadhunter @DaKaptin
Commissar Evangel observes the planet from the Bridge of the Concordant, a massive warship in range of the planet. The young trooper he looms over as he observes the display screen seems exceptionally nervous, which the officer takes no notice of as he observes the various battles and happenings on world. Indeed, everyone on the bridge seems a little wary of the Aquila bearing young man in the trench coat and peaked cap, not an uncommon reaction to the presence of a member of the Commissariat...
OOC: Scusin' fella! Appreciate the enthusiasm but if you're interested in the RP you'll wanna put up a character sheet in the OOC thread, more over Commissars are a no go for this one I'm afraid! If you would like to chat in private just poke me in a PM~
In the unquarantined week that followed their *trial* Addec had spend most of his time preaching to all and every, within the chapels or places of many people his distint voice would loudly be preaching the burning fury of the god Emperors redemtion, he made sure to spread the words of redemtion far and wide where ever he went, so he could set the loyal sons and daughters hearts aflame with zealous fury. As the week had passed and the team he had been attached to had been made ready to leave with others for a mission where they dident get many details, recovering an artifact? It would have to be one of the great Emperor, one of his legendary artifacts, Addec was riled up at this, more preaching would be done and self mutilation to make sure his body, mind and spirit was ready for what was ahead.
When the Sister Hospitaller stuck a needle in her arm, the potion within noticably calming the Seraphim. Later Emirys made her way throughout the starship whilst it was made ready for travel through the warp, visiting the massive chamber that was available for the Seraphim to train in. A tall cylinder, cutting through ten decks, the facility possessed a wide variety of things a Seraphim squad might encounter. Three other members of the Sororitas' elite aerial warfare group were in the chamber, buzzing around a servitor shackled to a crude jet-pack. As Emirys entered the training room one of the Seraphim bathed the servitor in flames, the other two quickly descending to the ground. [OOC: @DeranVendar]
before Giving the poor sister some sedative, Eris couldn't help but feel she was only helping her to avoid the true pain that ails. The Hospitaller made it a point to keep an eye on Emiry during her recovery. 'Just another thing to add to the never ending to do list.' She complained to herself. Though in reality, she was a caring soul. For Hospitaller Sister Eris, her job was only just beginning. Later While Eris had agreed they were healed enough to go through the trial, she was not heartless. Fitting the young Retributor with a prosthetic was easy enough. As they waited for it's construction to finish, Eris had Sister Arerina confined to private quarters and given crutches for limited mobility. Walking into Arerina's quarters, Eris arrives to check in and take readings. "Sister Arerina, the Emperor seem to have blessed you with a speedy recovery and luck. Your new limb is ready. If only we could all be so lucky. It should be brought in any minute. Before I begin the prep work, tell me how you are feeling. Have you experienced and new pains since last we spoke?"
"Tierd" as she spoke she was stood in the center of the room her crutches stood leaning on the left wall and she was trying to ballance herself with her missing leg "though its good the leg is ready, thank you for the help over the course of geting it ready"
"Just doing my job. Now please take a seat and I can begin prepping you." Hospitaller Eris allowed the stubborn Sister to seat herself without assisting. The old healer could tell this one's spirit was not so easily broken and wouldn't accept help. 'Help those who will to help themselves.' She thought to herself. It was simple enough; checking the stub for new tissue damage, testing nerve strength for nod implants, etc. As soon as they finished, as if on cue, the tech adepts arrived with the bionic prosthesis. Eris gave the genetors the updated data, and they set to work installing the limb. "Be patient with our Martian kin, their bedside manner leaves much to be desired. Know I'll remain by your side until the process is complete... It may be painful, would you like some sedative or do you prefer to go without?" Eris offered. Though she had gone through a similar procedure for her eye, as he chosen to do so without the sedative as a show of will. To this day she regretted that decision, she would would not hold it against Sister Arerina if she chose to.
