Sisters of Battle Role Play [IC Thread]

  1. Still recovering from her earlier madness Emirys was unsurprised to find that it refused to leave entirely. The fear remained, her heart beating so fast and so loud it seemed to thunder in her ears. When the squad discovered, and descended down, the tower Emirys firmly clamped down on her feelings and emotions, inwardly determined not to embarass or damn herself further.

Only glancing out through the doorway for a second Emirys watched Alexandra jerkily kneel. The Seraphim moved to the Dominion's side, reaching out to rest a hand on the other Sister's shoulder before pausing in indecision, leaving her right hand hovering just above Alexandra's pauldron.

  2. As they made the brief stop the redemtionist indeed felt it was time for a prayer, to lift the spirits of the group, and to safeguard his own, he too could feel the place tugging at him trying to bring him down and drown him in sorrow, a monumental task for whatever tried to make fools of them, for his rightiusness was unwavering.
He went to one knee, his evicerator pointing downwards hovering just over the ground, he spoke loudly for all to hear, but without yelling, "God-Emperor, grand us death in this place, or grand us the power to massercre this day so that glory may be yours where evil thinks itself strongest." It was a short prayer, slightly deviated from the classic iteration to fit the group and place.
"If it dosent hurt it dosent count" the last bit aimed at the pained dominion

If it doesn't hurt it doesn't count, If it doesn't hurt it doesn't count, Those words repeated in Alexandras mind as she attempted to pray, She would not succumb to hersey as she tried to resist the force and to get back up she strained as she attempted to, Focus on his flame on him, She thought Focus on the emporer's Flame, She then seemed to stair into the redemtionist priest Flaming Crown.

Martha looked around at everyone acting so strange. It was quite confusing since she was all ready used to the painful emotions of guilt and regret. She did move down to help the two that had fallen to ensure they were ok.

It seems the despair and general uneasiness that lay thick on the group like some stormy cloud, unaffected old Enginseer. When he found it hard to walk,if Arerina became too heavy,a brief blurt of binaric cant would dispel the illusion.Such was the might of the Priests of the Machine God.

Unfortunetly, whatever force was reigning in this place like some aetheric tyrant of old, sought to teach Zeth that he is not above and beyond their power.Mere piety is not a shield here...not without dedication of zeal!
Arerina woked up for a moment, screaming and thrashing in her embrace, that Zeth kept her in.The stairs themselves were narrow and too step for any proper balance, despite the augmentations Enginseer felt, thumbing down the endless flight of stairs.

During the thumbling he did everything to protect maimed, again unconscious,Sister as they fell together.Landing was particulary hard and Zeth cursed seeing his Servo-arm badly injured, detached from his body.

"It is...nothing..."spoke Enginseer as he stood up,helped by Martha and Miria.Checking if any injures were done upon him,or Arerina.Three of the mechadendrites-wrapped around her, keeping her limbs in check, while her arms were around Zeth`s neck.Fourth mechadendrites picked up the disloged and sparking Servo-arm.

    "I shant leave her."spoke Zeth coldly,repling to Superior`s statement.Looking at Alexandra.She took up a pose of a worship...but it seemed unnatural.
Suspicious of activity of a maeleficar,Enginseer`s eyes gloomed in the darkness of his cowl as he felt machine spirit in Alexandra`s power armor.

"We should move forward Sister Alexandra, lest Arerina bleeds away."

After a time Alexandra found herself able to rise, whatever force had seemingly taken her also appeared to have taken all that misery and weariness along with it for her limbs felt strong once more, body refreshed and mind sharp. The Emperor had been listening. With Alexandra back up and perhaps in the best shape out of them all, bar perhaps Miria and Martha whom were at the forefront of heading out the door.

What awaited them outside was a decidedly primitive human village as opposed to their utterly alien environs. It was as if someone had ripped a small communities home away and just threw it at the bottom of this trench, a long stretch of similiar sand stone buildings that didn't reach higher than a single ground floor lay between them and....it. A whirling vortex of white light that had first drawn them to this place, if anything lay at its heart was impossible to say for merely looking at it was painful due to its unearthly light alone. It seemed to fluctuate in power and intensity at irregular intervals, source of that dim white lighting. The purple haze remained dominant and their sources were painfully clear in the form of multiple vent like fissures in wall, ground floor and even rifts just torn in the very fabric of reality. It was from these fissures in solid earth that they could see the various forms of fiends they had encountered earlier were spawning from, their bestial forms slithering, sliding, trundling and gliding into those floating portals as if propelled by an entirely different system of gravity than the sisters themselves were subjected to. As usual such a realm made as little sense as possible just to spite them.

Gathered around the foot of the towering....tower they appeared to of gone undiscovered. So focused were the fiends that they swam straight for the portals, no guards or patrols appeared to be moving between the buildings. Of course it was also painfully apparent they weren't getting anywhere near that cyclone without drawing attention. The only thing of note beside it in the area was a similiar tower stair well directly opposite of their own.

  8. Turning so that she faced Miria, and then keeping her gaze fixed in the Battle Sister's direction, Emirys threw out an arm to point at the nearest building's roof.
"I could explore this place from above. Do I have permission?"

Alexandra Rose by the door as she heard Areina's request she took her bolt pistol and gave it to her with several clips. "This should be better for now sister" she whispered to her being quite because of the beasts out side. "How shall we get through these beasts sister?" she looked to Miria

  10. "What are the odds that portal will lead us to reality?" Addec asked out to the open, they haddent been pulled into this place by accident, he was sure that some sort of ambush could happen any minute now, and those fiends of chaos needed purging.
