So since Altansar is here and the team has admitted the story is at the end of the 13th Black Crusade, wouldn't that mean that most of us would be from the raid on the Eye and Maugan Ra our most likely leader on Arkhona?
Now there's an interesting plot thread to explore. It would make for a curious campaign in the future to be sure, if they opt to take advantage of it. Especially given how the Despoiler is present leading the Traitor Legions.
Yes and no. Asurmen was the first Phoenix Lord and founded the whole Aspect/Path of the Warrior system. He then started training other Eldar, Jain Zar being the first of them. Some of those Eldar later became (some of) the other Phoenix Lords. Asurmen is recognized by the others as the "shrine-father" / leader of the Phoenix Lords, the rest are more or less considered equals as far as I know. You could rank them by "age", meaning Asurmen, Jain Zar (age + she pays the most attention to her shrines and Eldar in general), others (Maugan Ra and Baharroth for example are "brothers like the moon is to the sun", so not sure who´s ranked higher but I believe Baharroth is the youngest Phoenix Lord) , lastly Karandras (because he´s not the original Striking Scorpions Phoenix Lord)
and Fuegan? Maugan-Ra as a subfaction leader would be quite venerable for the Altansar. The event which involves two Phoenix Lords would have to be immensely important indeed.
Fuegan, Irillyth, Drastanta, Amon Harakht, (maybe Lhykosidae if considered Phoenix Lord) no idea about age/seniority so all "others" to me before Karandras. (Not discriminating against him, after Maugan Ra my favorite Phoenix Lord, but he´s just not the original) Oh, and while I love the idea of multiple Phoenix Lords leading Eldar on Arkona... I don´t think Arkona is that important to us to warant an involvement on that scale. So i guess it´s only Jain Zar for now.
It was Maugan Ra that led Altansar and his invasion team out of the Eye of Terror and into the flanks of the 13th Black Crusade, kicking Abbadon's sorry butt back into the warp and saving they day (you're welcome, Mon Keigh). If any Phoenix Lord is going to be on planet, it would be him. He was the only one directly involved in the events surrounding us.
I´m aware of that. However, back in february when they "started" the subfaction vote, Behavior already announced Jain Zar to be the Eldar faction leader. Warp Echoes Livestream, beginning of Episode 3.
