    So far in my gameplay time experience, as a Space Marine, pretty much the only balanced matches I've had were against the Chaos Space Marines. I know that this will attract a lot of "oh no! fanboy rant again", but it is my opinion regardless. Towards any of the supposed Xheno factions, the Space Marines are pretty much like paper.

    Eldar one hit kill you with either their sabers - be that Warlock/Banshee/Scorpion, Or they one shot kill you with that ridiculous lance (plasma missile launcher) for the Reaper. I understand they are supposed to be the ancient, tech superior race, with that being implemented in their gear and weapons - superior range, mobility and accuracy. But as it currently stands - they pretty much take 15 bullets from my fully upgraded bolter to down only. And yet, with my pretty much tanky build I get one shoted by an Avenger - they need 2-3 shots to down me while supposedly wearing a tank's amount of armor. It is simply obnoxiously broken.

    Orks are not really much different. They are very good in melee as they are supposed to be, their weapons do a lot of damage - also fine. But in the current game stage - they have the ridiculous pin point accuracy of an Eldar gun. Combine that with the ton amount of Dakka bullets plus rate of fire and their health pool..well...not really standing a chance.

    I really really hope the developers consider to either nerf the Xheno Factions a bit, or at least give the Chaos Space Marines and regular such a currently much needed buff. Because currently, when I see my ques showing a match against a Xheno faction, I just outright cancel it until it says I am to face the Chaos Space Marines.

    So, here's hoping for balance be restored so that no matter what you face and what you play people can enjoy the game.
    Also, I do tend to agree with the opinion of Arch Warhammer in his video about the game:

    I still enjoy the game, I see the great potential in it. It is just ridiculously broken in the balance department. Still, considering more updates and patches are to come, I have my fingers crossed that we will only see improvements in the coming future. Fingers crossed at least.

    Cheers.

    1 hit thing is just the servers being utter shit. It happens with other races as well

    There is no way in the world you're getting 3 shot by an Avenger.
    3 shots from the shuriken cannon is like what, 60 damage?

    Xeno dude. Xeno cmon.

    How long you been playing?

    Have you tried playing as another faction that you feel is OP?

    Dont forget Eldars have:
    * Stealth w posibility to one-hit-kill you.
    * Eternal airborn class.
    * Alot faster movement.

    Its not stealth...be more carefull.(yes its dificult to be in combat but thats why you have teammates!)
    Have a HB that can aim shoot it ....it will not be that airborne any longer(But be sure to protect that HB )
    Faster ...yes,still slow compared to bolt rounds!

    If Eldar are difficult for you to win against as a SM, I highly recommend joining a guild, one with a track record of beating Eldar because there aren't many.

    I also highly recommend investing in Storm Bolters and Plasma (especially the cannon). The one game I've outright lost to CSM was:

    A guild
    Massive amounts of Melee
    MoS
    Autocannons
    Sorcerors with Flicker Fire
    Plasma - every character, including their pistols, carried plasma. Use it for the stun. A slowed or arrested Eldar is a dead Eldar.

    And even then, it was an EXTREMELY close game. Still guild on guild. (Where we lost was our fault for sure)

    D
    Stealth is when u cant see your enemy. Looking at ALL spaces on the map that no visual enemy are?
    Sure, then I stay still in a corner prepare to fire. Wonderful..

    You want to dedicate a slow heavy Marine as a constant anti-air character?
    And guard where? The map is huge and hawks can transport themselves acrosd the map very fast.

    Al character suffers the bulletspeed equally, with the exception of Eldars that moves faster then one can aim. Why else are eldars running around from side to side in circles in a fight?

    No, bring up the nerfhammer or make marines fly or vansih.

    Well, had several matches in a row this evening. And from nine games, only one was a victory if a close one and it was against the Chaos Space Marines. The lost ones were against the Orks and Eldar. Last loss I was near rage quitting when the enemy team began camping the spawn point near the contested last point to defend...it was basically a: spawn - die instantly, spawn - die again and so on in an endless cycle. It was very aggravating to say the least. The warlocks and reapers kept one shotting, or at least it felt like that.

    To Gazrick, I have been playing from not too long ago, two months or so. I tried playing the Eldar with the scorpion and it was merely a point of find the best spot, hide, wait a bit and then just one shot/slice an entire team of 2-3 players before I get downed and repeat. That game ended with an Eldar victory naturally.

    I'd recommend playing both Xeno factions and all classes a little - just to get a better idea of their strengths and weaknesses. You'll end up in situations thinking stuff like; "shit I hope that marine doesn't have X weapon" or "aha if I do this I should be able to get a few easy kills". You'll also be able to recognise armour and weapons much easier by audible and visual clues - which will give you an insight in how to counter them effectively.

    Then just flip his stuff around when you play as SM and wreck house. As has been mentioned, group play is key. If no one is barking any orders start giving some yourself, any focus, even if it's a tactically bad one, is better than none in my experience.
