    then if its a firewall what port range is this game doing, as my Firewall has an exception (fully open) for the game client.

    Amazing, i was able to log in tonight With Bitdefender turned on.
  3. Last day for being able to get a steam refund i think. really need some moving and shaking to figure out why this wont work. sent a mesg to support team, but i assume they are getting inundated with reports. steam forums report same issue, but no fixes as well.

    Come on Devs. Get your basics together. You cant do this to a community itching to play a game.

    I cant log in. Im a cloud security expert. I work with AV's and firewalls.

    What i am reading is arbitrary hit and miss login success/failures. Its obviously a problem on your end.

    I have run this game on 2 different machines, both with AV and Firewalls turn on and off. Nothing works. Direct LAN and Wireless. I ran diagnostics on the networks being connected to. The error is on your end.

    Please Fix It. Im done with this nonsense for tonight. I am very disappointed. Come home from work and have to deal with this.

    Had this same issue.

    I deleted BitDefender and logged in; Reinstalled BitDefender and was still able to log it. I believe its a server side problem.

    With the recent patch I am unable to log on again even with both Firewalls turned off (See attachment).[​IMG]

    I am not going to delete it again until I/We get an answer explaining their attempts to fix it.

    I'm having this exact problem and disabling bit-defender av and firewall did nothing for me.

    I am having the same issue, wont let me login, I tired turning of the Bitdefender firewall with no success, also not sure where to turn of net protecting under the new 2016 bitdefender version.

    Same problem here, i have Bit Defender Total Security, tried the steps from above and i am unable to login in the game. At the website all is fine...


    Update: I stopped the Antivirus (permanently), Firewall, Webprotection, Vulnerability, Intrusion Detection and Ransomware Protection. Deactivated the Windows Firewall Service, restarted my pc, tried to login and it was possible! Reactivated all modules now.
    Windows Firewall Service still deactivated....

    This is an issue that is not related to what antivirus or firewall you are using. since ages ago they all have Plug and play support which lets them auto portforward the game connections, The issue itself is related to their servers most likely being flooded with requests to login thus getting full, Or as they said over mail,

    Hi,

    If you can log into the website then there are no issues with your account details. Instead the Game client is timing out because the login request is not being transferred to our servers.

    We are looking into how we can update the game client to allow these requests to successfully be transmitted.
