Good sir, this is levels better than what I have shown on here! The detailing is quite good and the overall use of paints tell me personally that you are no novice! Heh you should see some of my older works, this trumps them by far! Excellent work and please do show more when you have time, definitely wish to see more!
Digging the customization and the overall color scheme you described sounds quite excellent! Most of the time you only see people trying to just do SM and not even use ideas such as that, I applaud you for this idea and hope to see a painted one since I'm sure it'll be as awesome as this conversion one is!
I hope you are not referring to my works, heh though I do appreciate it. The others who have posted on here are far better than I, though I do enjoy the painting. Hope more post on here and you see the many different facets of the game!
I referred to all of the works I have seen here (all looks like masterpieces in comparison to my ugly-ultramarines <.<)
Making each one is a huge pain sadly, getting the arms to look even remotely not retarded takes a long time, carving out the torso, getting the head and beard to look like it was put on correctly so it looks like the beard is over the power armor then greenstuffing the resulting holes up is actually the easiest and fastest part of making them.
I doubt they are ugly good sir, even if they are imperial scum :3 . Post them if ya want, as I said I don't judge good sir! I've seen masterpieces and stuff that looked like people melted crayola crayons and poured them over the models, trust me I doubt yours look like my old stuff, so bring it on!
As tedious as the conversion work is (my profile pic is one of my conversion works, not much but eh I do what I can) it looks fantastic!
