I play a lot of striking scorpion. Like, 80% of my time in this game, and I have not had any success fighting other close combat classes from any race but the orks. If I don't get the first strike, I lose and more often than not I can't even get away thanks to the long lunge of LSM/CSM fast attacks. This is frustrating but it does fit the class but is it balanced? Do you think that striking scorpions should be differentiated from banshees by this burst damage mechanic?
Its all about hit and run. Use a D.bash and run away and re-stealth to reset the fight. If you feel your are losing the fight. I personally think its cool. (I played a rogue in WoW for almost 10 years in arena, so I am bais to this style) Hope it helps
Lorewise yes.In game ...do you have the proper mods(engine!?),if yes you should be able to (assuming sufficient skill ofc) if not stick to backstabs.
I generally use this strategy, but it seems weird to me that the eldar "brawler" can't just keep pushing the attack. I am not saying that the striking scorpion fails as a backline harasser, but they are definitely not a match for JA or Shield troops.
Bad lack ...what teeth do eldar get btw? Damage ,penetration? on topic i would advice you to stick to backstabbing till you get the engine.
I only have damage teeth, and I am saving up the one bazillion spacebucks for the talon so that my swooping hawk can do their job. I hate lootboxes in all of their incarnations.
Virtually impossible to run away as a Scorp because they are gonna be lookin for cha. Unless your against absolute rookies you need the first hit and then either to disappear or raise hell for whoevers around.
