Op you're crazy. If you can't beat Combat Knives, I have no idea how.

You can LITERALLY spam Power Attacks, or hell Fast Attacks, and beat a Tac 100% of the time. You could literally lock-on, close your eyes, and spam, and win.

You do realize Combat Knives break in 2 Dbashes right? They break with one clang of a Power Attack from a Klaw. They also break in 2 Fast Attacks of your Klaw.

Power Attacks travel further than Rolls, so he can't roll away.

The stun on a Dbash for a Knive is so short, you can literally get out of the stun, before they even finish the Knive's Dbash.

The stun on any Dbash can even be rolled/evaded/boosted out of if your timing is right, and it isn't hard.

There's already a snare on melee attacks, so if they try to run, you just have to clip them a tiny bit, and they'll basically stop in place.

No matter how you look at this, you should be winning. If you aren't, and I hate being that guy but....you need some practice. You're completely off the ball here.

Ork d-bash is busted to hell, so that might be a major mitigating factor here.

I use d-bash, and they get stunned, but by the time I MYSELF THE PERSON STUNNING THE ENEMY is able to move again, the enemy is able to move as well.

Yet once in a while, a full stun goes off, and its like being in the Olympics for sex.

Also, I am consistently doing well in games when I avoid the aspects of the game I find broken entirely, so here's some scoreboard.jpgs to prove I'm not a shit player.

It is bugged? my bad most of my comparisons are based on the powerfist and what ive seen powerklaw orks do to me personally.

It's much better than before this patch (on launch patch it required you to be physically touching them when you started the attack or it wouldn't work), but its still sort of janky. I've seen attacks that should have hit whiff, and space marines in a rolling animation not get affected by hits they were certainly supposed to take - as if they have invincibility frames in that.

I also saw a Space Marine roll ontop of my grenade and not even go into damage state, so maybe Space Marines have invincibility frames on their rolls for some reason.

All those kills, top of the killboards all the time, and you are complaining about the Tac's Combat Knife?

And truthfully, I can't. You want to know why I can't? I'm a FUCKING BOLTER TAC. Go ahead, go ahead and fucking roll an LSM, get a Tactical, and use your fucking knife. You show me your fucking score then.

I called you out not because of your opinion, I can respect your opinion differs, but because the mechanics and values in the game literally make it an almost impossibility for what you say to be possible. Everything I said in my last post, IS TRUE FANCY THAT, go ahead and test it if you don't fucking believe me. With all of those advantages against the knife, how, HOW in the fuck could you lost to one unless what is REALLY happening is the Tac is shooting you in a melee fight.

In your whole fucking post, you didn't include one actual reason HOW the knife was better other than, "the knife is faster", which is vague as all shit if you haven't noticed.

Oh, pro tip, you mlg pro h4x0r 360noscope got guuding ace in the hole, you do know that currently the Ork melee is bugged right? Also, you do know that the Power Klaw SPECIFICALLY is pretty bugged right? Did you even try the search bar on the forums to figure that out? The reason your Power Klaw is likely having problems, has nothing to do with a fucking knife, and EVERYTHING to do with the fact that it's bugged.

Even then, EVEN with a bug, your complaints are fucking shit compared to the kind of scum slogging broken ass bullshit fucking melee that Tacs have to put up with, everywhere, all the time, ESPECIALLY on cap points. You wanna complain about your Klaw? Try using a knife modeled after a fucking bobby pin, then we'll talk.

Whoopdee fucking do. The truth is, you have every advantage over a Tac with a combat knife that can be imagined. You didn't mention the Klaw bugging out, and you didn't specify anything about the knife other than vague "speed", so using that conclusion I have no other choice but to assume it is your skill.

I have 1000+ messages on this forum with 845+ likes, go ahead and find someone else with that ratio of likes to messages, with that many mesages. What do you have, like 80 messages it says? So maybe, just maybe, I know what the fuck I'm talking about when I post. And considering the fact that since I've even been on these forums, I've told everyone I'm a Bolter Tac main, and anyone who frequents these forums enough can tell you that. Then maybe, just maybe, I know a bit about the fucking knife I've been using since last year.

So, instead of your what, 5 winning scoreboards. Why don't you show me something that I can be sure you know what you're doing. Get a video of 5 games of you using a Tac, using the knife often (not always of course), and getting top score. Then we can argue who's manhood is bigger. Until then, how about you just take my word for it that the Klaw has almost every advantage over the knife, and instead of being insecure about who's top dog, you can tell me, in much better detail, what exactly you are having trouble with, with the knife.

I have to ask: what are you doing that knife tacs are beating your power fist? In my experience, power fist is actually pretty damn dangerous. And I'm fairly decent as melee, better than average at least, and a good power fist wielder is hell to deal with because even though they are slow, it's easy for them to break your weapon and then one-shot you. god forbid they d-bash you successfully, because you're fucked.

Ah yes....because scoreboards says it all Incidentily, if the knife is so hidiously broken as you seem to think, why would you even be able to get so many kills with it?Wouldnt all those combat knife wielding op marines kick your ass every fight?

Powerfist/klaw is fine. Pretty much every time I see them (and I play a bolter Sanguinary priest mostly) I get instant gibbed by the fuckers before I can even raise the damn block. And considering thats what they do in the lore AND the tabletop id say its spot on.

Combat knife is a last ditch effort weapon. If you are getting beaten by it then its your own damn fault, the server is laggy or someone got the jump on you or whatever. But its not because the weapon is damn OP, because its not.

Scoreboards mean absolutely nothing in this context. He could have a powerklaw on him and make all his kills in vehicles/turrets or with his ranged weapon and it wouldnt show...
