Should players be able to roll off sticky grenades/bombs?

    Rolling away from krake is nonsense :) But..If melee stays in such nerfed state forever, I think that rollaway should stay - otherwise it will be too easy to fight any melee class.

    P.S. I would give roll away option for dedicated melee classes, maybe through unlocked wartree gear.

    That "melee nerf state" is broken hit detection, immense lags and a whole lot of other issues after engine update.

    Well, decreased heavy attack range for chainsword and other weapons works miracles :) Removed backstab roll..Increased survivability for everyone. What can I say - Im more afraid to fight another tactical 1 on 1 with knifes than dedicated melee class..

    That pretty much means you need to be 1 step closer for it to be effective+you can move now while charging so....

    Backstab roll was cheezy AF, there was no excuse for it.
    Survivability increase affects exclusively knives and chain weapons(toughness increase), power weapons are just as effective as they were while remaining cheap(short of PF, which finally is specialist weapon which requires dedication).

    Now, I'm also afraid of tacticals melee, but that is because yet another melee bug, which makes them win fast attack spam battles vs anyone short of axe/mace/pfist.

    Melee is just buggy AF at the moment and believe me, I know my way around melee extremely well(crusader commendation on swooping hawk, derp). Fix the lag, fix the bugs and we'll have amazing and fluent and fun system after so many months of changes and adjustments.

    Instead of 50 kills per match I get max 20-25. With the same setup - powersword/shield. If that is not nerf I dont know what is it :D Ask Archedemomn, he will tell you how he droped from 60-80 kills to 20-30.

    And backstab roll was the only ability realy worthy to play melee - you strength was tight rooms where you could kill like 4-5 tacticals solo. But nvm that, personal opinions.

    What matters, is that when melee jumps on you, you feel joy and victory instead of fear and confusion. I remember it was th case when devs were speaking about purpose of melee classes - to wreck havoc in close ranged.

    P.S. But the current state is needed for game's success - people get less frustrated when killed with ranged weapon :) I dont mind that either.

    No, its not a nerf, because as I have said multiple times already, there is a lag issue and hit detection shenanigans, which are NOT a balance related changes, but issues that need to be fixed. ;)

    You can still roll and attack, it just won't be super effective against d-bash players who can keep up with turning to block it, so the system works more on RPS base and less on the old cheeze, THAT is a nerf, but its a well deserved one as you had attack which ignored the rules.

    So what you are saying is melee is now more in line with ranged with the amount of kills? Very Rarely does the player who gets Assassin have over 25-30 kills.

    Because Eldar plasma nades have lower damage then frags and don't do vehicle damage like kraks.

    That really depends. The biggest issue is broken disrupt and no one ever talks about it except me and 1 or 2 rare post on the forum. Which pretty much means that it still will be borken, whether its another strange feature or a bug. Also decreased lunges are crippling sword a bit and worse is yet to come when design team removes evade attacks and repositioning becomes significantly harder.

    Another big issue is insanely low rates of dura depletion. Currently you deplete dura only due to evade bug. This cripples melee of course since you need damn miracle to break knife with, say sword. Also even if you break your opponent prolongs his life by clanging with broken weapon - thats basically +1.6s of life which is huge.

    However dura changes are already on UAT.
