Should EC have actually asymmetric teams?

Most Eldar do have superhuman reflexes and can foretell the future, compared to Space MArines at least.

If you want to play through your power fantasy, just play Space Marine on easy.

If you want a system with different entities ratios that works, play one of DoW games.

If you want to go full retard, continue with senseless threads like this one.

Actually, its forcing all the LSM pleb to play different factions, so we have somewhat equal population distrubution instead of 70% LSM and everyone else 30%.

The only thing that is special here is you and your extra chromosone "geneseed" assisted ideas.

And the game will die, because bE pulled all resources off it, not because you can not masturbate while killing everything with bolter as LSM.

Would never work, LSM already struggle vs Eldar/Orkz/anything. to make it a ratio where the Xenos have a larger player pool would require massive changes. Either through nerfing down the Xenos to allow more of them which while getting you LSM players the OP Marines you've always wanted would lead to hilarity when there's not crappy players at the helm that just steam roll.

OR it would require buffing Marines so that every LSM/CSM game you play the marines are even more bullet spongey than they already are and the game just gets stupid.
  4. This is happening now, but probably not on purpose.

The game makeup lately has been a 2:1 . Thankfully, the game doesn't always result in the smaller team losing. Eldar and Ork players always fight 2 or 3 to 1, which is why I love playing with or against them. Keeps the game exciting, you know?

Your "reasoning" is a bit off.

Eldar are as strong as an IG soldier, but their speed and elegance makes up for the fact they can't carry a heavy bolter. They still have the deadliest long range weapons, even against the Tau. Their psychic powers are second to none...

A ork weapon is similar to any weapon of that type. The problem is the ork holding it, since he rather slam you over the head with it instead of pulling the trigger. They're also crazy random, and just damn cool looking. I just love an ork in mega armor...

I deliberately tried to avoid any lore-argument in the original reply but: Eldar are actually much stronger, physically, than a human. Maybe not quite on par with a space-marine.

Add to that innate, psychic powers, superhuman speed, regenerative abilities, superior equipment and technology, several times the the combat training and experience, absolute dedication and focus paired with perfect strategy and foresight and you got yourself an Aspect Warrior who can tear any Marine to shreds.

I dunno man, Crysis 2 had asymmetric Nanosuit Porn Marines vs human mercenaries as one of its game modes

Well i mean something like juggernaut game mode is pretty fun but not as the "main" game mode.

Asymmetric teams would turn the match making even more into shit.
  8. Yes and it was only fun to play as the Hunter.

Just because a game still has (a minuscule number) players doesn't mean it's not dead, there's games that are over 10 years old that pull in 4 times what EC has.
The game has no development team, and nothing of substance will ever happen with EC, Bhvr keep it going because the gullible still are spending money on it.
Lack of meaning full content, countless empty promises, poor balance and the single most broken MM system of any game out there, the game has a deserved reputation as a sealclubbers game.
The Guild system kept those in Guilds interested while at the same time utterly killed off any chance of growth, no-one here ever listens to any form of logic, the game deserves to die a long slow painful death and that's what is happening.
No point in discussing anything about this game, it's irrelevant as it IS dead and no-one at Bhvr cares what you think or want.
Do yourselves a favor, learn from it and move on, and btw Death Garden is clearly going to go in the same direction, after watching 5 mins of that game its clear it's a pile of garbage.

Game becomes dead when content updates and balance patches end.
We're still somehow are getting those.

    DoW3 is dead.
EC isn't yet, might be on its last legs, but its not dead.
