  1. Certain guns just don't allow it though.

I watch a teammate lose an important fight on a node. He goes down. I have a Tempest/Reaper Launcher. What do I do?

A:Fire my weapon at range(because you can't really do it even after a dbash with these guns, especially without killing yourself) and have the splash damage kill your downed teammate despite your best intentions and best aim(Reaper Launcher can sometimes get away with this) But I win, stop the cap/decap yay, Booooo TK.

B:Fear the TK and grab my ankles

Downed allies only count as half. Situations like "Oh but my downed teammate is in the way and all I have is an AOE weapon" is rare enough you can do this occasionally. Other than that, watch your goddamn fire.

In that instance you TK and most likely they will forgive.

If not honestly that rarely comes up enough to get anyone booted.
  4. True, but I was just using that as an example, sometimes the TK really isn't avoidable.

  5. No it should not be "push to punish"

The system is meant to be a deterrent from firing blindly into your teammates, that detterent is lessened if you can assume that if you kill a teammate they're more likely to let you get away with it. Push to forgive is the right way to do it because it shouldn't be assumed that your teamkill was justified. You should be examining your own actions as to if you could have avoided it, also take 5 seconds to put in a damn sorry. Your teammate has no obligation to forgive you and it shouldn't be the default. If you're not getting forgiven to the point of being kicked the problem is probably you, not the way the forgiveness system works.
  6. It'd be nice if the system was more transparent too.

Like I've TK'd at least three people in a match and never gotten booted by the server.

My friend throws a grenade at the point during match end while we're doing the victory dance...instantly kicked.

It would be nice to know if it's X team kills in Y minutes, or Z total team kills or what.

It's just a bit of a clusterfuck IMO, sometimes it's just unavoidable, sometimes it just has to be done because your one downed team mate isn't worth worrying about when there's enemies capping a point right next to him and quite often players forgive that, sometimes you get a delusional selfish douche who thinks his life was worth letting enemies cap the point.

The whole downed system is just annoying at times, when you have allies trying to crawl up your fucking legs when you're in the middle of a firefight, bitching in chat that you're not reviving them when that would probably just result in you both being dead. The flip side is when you get downed and one of your ever so helpful team mates who is desperate for 30xp, instantly starts trying to revive you, while you are still in the line of enemies fire, you just get killed again and so does he, like LET ME FUCKING CRAWL INTO COVER FIRST AND MAYBE WE WILL BOTH SURVIVE!.

Yeah, the whole thing just makes me rage at times lol.

If I gotta move the transport and you're in the way...you won't be for long. I did vote yes though. I understand that some TK's will happen and current system does an alright job of punishing certain types of selfish play. I actually wish I could award bonus points to orks however. Everytime someone rokkit/kannons/runs over a jpa or GA locking me up as a loota I laugh so hard. Seriously can I have an option to give those guys a portion of my points please.

    You aren't :OrkDeffskull: (orky) enough.

If I'm down near enemies, better through those grenades all around me. I'm already dead, my body just doesn't know it yet. I'll always forgive a TK for killing me when I'm down unless its obvious he is a really poor shot.
