We should have shared inventories for faction-wide equipment, it's really BS that i have to grind through all LSM equipment again if i want to make another LSM character when the sub-factions equipment is 99% the same for all factions, unless it's a sub-faction specific piece of gear it should be shared by all my characters within that faction. (I wrote inventories wrong in the title, can't change it, too bad.)
It's even worse if the one character you play is exclusively one class and you have all this other equipment you will never use with one character but would on a second so it will just sit there collecting dust.
artificially trying to increase the life of the game. Resulting making it frustratingly grindy. Bad design 101.
you create a new character each time, so it's not the same. Also the spiritual successor path of exile has shared inventory.
Why do you think gear is the same for factions. Apart from some similar gear LSM and CSM share they are apparently not compatible.
Here's something I'm curious about: Why does the store allow me to see/buy equipment from the other factions if NOT ONLY can I not use them, I can't pass them to a different character?
Because RTC items are account bound, not character bound and you can NOT buy anything for requisition from other faction you dummy.
