<Ha'le> "At least the Kroot aren't intentionally divebombing my men. And no I don't think I'm better, I do, however, know that I was guaranteed this room! I don't mind sharing if you all want to do some combined drills, but if not, GET OUT! As for the Hounds, Shaper, I know you can exert an immense amount of control over them, so if they could just stay out of my soldiers way when we're marching, that would be great." The Shas'ui had worked with the Kroot before, he knew that when they first start their training sessions, its chaos at first, but slowly becomes organized as the various members of each unit become bored. The Vespid on the other hand, were brand new to him.
<Kroot Shaper> "Why don't you march the hallways, there is no need for you to clog up the space in these halls, also you can patrol the ship at the same time in case we get boarded. I on the other hand cannot let my Hounds run through the hallways, it would disturb the others too much." <Vespid Leader> "Yeah, why don't you use other parts of the ship? We Vespid have to train flying maneuvers so we can only use these halls as well, providing only enough height. You can march and patrol the ship in other sectors in the meanwhile, Shas'Ui!" The Vespid seemed to laugh, having teamed up with the Kroot shaper to kick the Firewarriors out.
<Ha'le> "Because I need more room then the width of a hallway! And look bug, if you call those maneuvers then you have a lot of learning to do. What are you gonna do? Annoy the enemy to death with that incessant buzzing? I've got orders that say to train my men here, and dammit that's what I'm going to do!" Where is the damn Water Caste when you need them? They're all over the place when my men are on leave. At this point, his squad of Pathfinders was standing behind him, and the soldiers of the other two leaders had done the same. Wish I could have fit our Devilfish in here, they wouldn't be arguing with me then.
"Gentle allies, lend me your ears." A voice boomed over the raised voices and Vespid fluttering. Yua'rak' switched off his voice amp and walked into the middle of the mob of warriors. "Is this any way to behave? If we are to spread the teachings of Tau'va then we must stand as examples here and in the heat of battle." "Noble Shaper, your hounds are fine specimens and we are all restless. If I were to suggest you practice sweeping maneuvers with the fire warriors, I'm sure you would both learn the value of clearing the field of hidden enemies together." Looking to Ha'le, "that is of course if you would be willing to postpone your marching drills till a later time? We have just disembarked and I'm sure the marching can wait as your warriors adjust to this new environment." Now faced the strain leader Vespid. "I understand your frustration, solid ground and an embracing gravity will be missed for some time. But like the air caste, you must adapt to this as much as the rest." An idea struck Yua'rak. "Why don't you try the hanger bay and learn from the air caste's in the mean time? It wouldn't require drills, but an exchange between allies of similar fields?" Looking at the time slot schedule Yua'rak could see where the confusion had started. "On that note, did any else notice the cycle change on the board next to the fire caste time slot?" The board showing the position of the slot between that of the Kroot and Vespid's times, but the timing was significantly later. A technical error, subtle but there nonetheless. "Can we come to an understanding?"
<Ha'le> Finally. Ha'le turns towards the Envoy, and bows. "I would be more than willing to postpone the marching drills, they were merely a warm-up, and I suppose they could be done in the halls if necessary as the Shaper pointed out. As for the Sweeping Maneuvers, I am more than willing to work in concert with our Kroot allies, I have had success working with them in the past, if the Shaper would be accepting of that?" Edit: I edited my previous post to say Pathfinders, not Fire Warriors, my bad, and it wouldn't let me put the Edit there for some reason, so it's here.
OOC: Feel free to take vespid and kroot also to write for, they are architecture tools - not GM <Vespid> "Mhh..... Fine. I suppose the hangar size would be easier to use for flying maneuvers anyway, due to it's height... Though we still need these rooms for a period of time for physical exercise to keep our bodies in shape. Muscles weak too rapidly for our liking in the void." <Kroot Shaper> "Maneuvers with the Pathfinders? Mh... Considering we are the most likely the first line of assault it would be not too bad to learn how to work in concert. Though like the Vespid, my Kroot Hounds need also time to strengthen their muscles." The Kroot said determined, crossing his arms - his beak looking something like a smile.
