Marcus tilted his head a little in confusion with a new arrival deciding to lean on him and file her nails even though the elf was still pointing a gun at him. Of course he wasn't concerned about the gun but the woman's voice sounded familiar to him. "Strange one aren't you?" He said as the lenses on his helmet zoomed in and out as he looked her over seeing she carried quite a few knives on her. It took him a few more seconds to realize who she was as his mind put a name to her face even though it had been years and they had both gone through puberty and changed quite a bit since the last time they met. Then again it was pretty damn hard to forget someone like her even after so many years. None the less he didn't say anything else as he then paid his attention back to the man pointing a gun at him.
Before Jack could even say anything, Tyesha was already out and heading into the Inn, making the louisiana boy sigh in frustration. @kanila "You might want to go in so you can watch the kids, I'm going to stay here and just get a connection to watch. Afterall, you're already going to get enough attention with them." he reasoned with the other guy as he relaxed in the back seat. @Vulpas Fiddling with his commlink for a bit, he found what he was looking for, a runner named Nora that was mentioned earlier, sending a message that said "Jack Cain, working with Tyesha and the rest, she' probably up there already. Can I get a feed for the meeting?". With that sent he turned on the A.R. vision setting in his goggles and put them on, waiting now. He doubted the Johnson wanted that many people physically in one spot, so he wondered just how bad this first meeting is going to go.
@BuriasDempsey @Keidivh @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Vulpas @Maleth (sorry if I missed someone!) *Facepalm* "Can't take these two anywhere!" Seeing the situation turning into a standoff outside of room 205 he shook his head. Why can none of this ever go smoothly. "Alright everyone put the guns away. Get inside before someone comes to investigate." He attempted to usher everyone inside, while doing that he released his drone from his pocket. Once he managed to get everyone inside he activated the drone and attempted to use it to watch the lobby to see if anyone was poking around. Keeping the minidrone hidden shouldn't prove to be too challenging, of course seeing how everything was going he could be wrong.
@Wata Unfortunately, there was little in the way of evidence that suggested where the thing had dropped, and despite Ablus's best efforts, he would be flummoxed as to where the dropped item had gone, not even Astral Sight helping him find it. Still, one could always enter the Inn and see what was going on inside, if it was worth it. ~Julius~ @TuskatheDaemonKilla , @Vulpas , @Keidivh , @bossaroo , @Casavay , @kanila "Haven't you heard of the Wanderer, Nora? Ever done a Matrix Search on him? Ever seen what he's done!?!" Julius asked incredulously. Still, seeing that there were so many people arriving to his front door, the Elf then said, having taken a deep breath "Anyways, I can't fit everyone into my room, so if you're not called Nora, the Wanderer or Emzee, you're gonna have to listen in on a feed. And yes, it will be two way, if you brought the van with you, or got AR stuff." And if one was to look into the Fixer's room, that really was that little room for the party to all fit in. Indeed, anymore than just Troll, Nartakai and Armoured human would probably cause a bit of a crush inside the small room, which would be hazardous to the weaker members of the team's health. So, perhaps it was wise to follow Julius' suggestions this time around, rather that jump without thinking about the ramifications of their actions. He then passed a camera with a microphone, a screen and speakers to Kruger, clearly expecting the rest of the team to not be tech-savvy as well as the average sprawl dweller as Julius then said "I'm sure this should suffice for a feed, I'll have one set up in here as well, just to make sure it's two-way, if no-one bought their AR stuff." With that said, he gestured for Nora, Emzee and Marcus to enter the room, while hoping that everyone else got the hint and went back to whatever they used to get here rather than cause a sight that blatantly told the world what was going on.
"You heard him Tyesha lets go." He turned back towards the lobby and retrieved his drone as he made his way through. Stepping out into the rain he noticed someone digging through what appeared to be trash. He pulled his trench coat up higher before heading back to his van. Once back he set up the feed, "All set on our end."
@kanila "Well that certainly didn't take long." he teased with a grin as almost as big as the one on his mask, already having a good idea why they came back so suddenly. Seeing Kruger set up the AR getup, Jack kept his goggles on and ready , checking its connections as well, while putting away the rifle and mask to try to give off a more proffesional appearance while the rest got in the van. "Who else did you guys see in there anyways?" he question them since they were here now. He doubted it was only these three that got brought along for this mission.
@BuriasDempsey Settling back into his seat he turned to Jack, "Nora, Emzee, and someone who goes by the handle 'the wanderer'. Not enough room for us all inside, besides probably isn't smart to have that many runners in one place." He lit a cigarette and tapped into the feed.
"Well I could have told ya that Kruger." Jack said as they waited. "Hm, the first two, don't know them myself, but that last one. This "Wanderer" fellow though.... I'm not sure you guys want a long term working relationship with that guy. Trust me." Jack suggested with all the mirth from earlier gone now. If even just a quarter of the things he heard about this guy was true, even taken with a grain of salt with it, this guy was just a mad dog without an owner. Jack would admit he killed for money too, but it was only ever for one target at a time and only anyone else if they prove too much of a obstacle to deal with non lethally. Leaving a pile of corpses after a contract didn't exactly make a good hunter after all. And the Wanderer probably left closer to dozens with each job....
@TuskatheDaemonKilla Tyesha paused in filing her nails upon hearing the armored giant speak. His armor distorted the voice, yet it sounded almost familiar? Which was strange considering Tyesha had no real friends besides her misfit family... Well, none that were had stayed anyways. "More than you know dearie." @kanila @Maleth Unfortunately she didn't have time to look over him further as they were already being kicked out back to the van! Nah, that's not how this was going down. "Ugh, alright old man." Tyesha stated, accompanied by an annoyed groan. Of course the moment no one was paying attention she waltzed straight into the briefing room behind the giant, slinking into a shadowed corner of the room to listen to the meeting in person.
Marcus entered the small room after the little exchange between the elf and the other new arrival which ended up with them leaving with some equipment for a live feed of the meeting. As he entered he found the room particularly cramped and uncomfortable for someone of his size 'god knows he the troll feels' he thought to himself as he found somewhere to sit. After the other two came in he noticed a forth runner enter trying to sneak in and stay in a corner. @Keidivh "Haven't catched everyone's handle or name yet but pretty sure the troll is Nora and the four armed one is Emzee. That mean you're The Wanderer?" He asked tilting his head at her again. Stubborn as usual he could see, sneaking into the meeting room even though they said for her not to. At least that much didn't change over the years.
