Baeleris looked up panicked as she was grabbed by the ork Nob and she let out a breif shriek as all hells broke loose in the middle of the hive. As the ork spoke to her and the grip wasnt crushing her she stared the ork in the eyes with a most dumbfounded look. "Ceograch ,this twisted joke needs to stop." She said as she turned her gase looking upward at the falling roks and dogfighting craft far above . As the ork squeezed her she let out a let cry of pain before remembering the staff

Glaring at the ork she screamed "ive been prisoner far too long, and i will sure as she who thirsts is a whore for every daemon in the immaterium i wont be a prisoner to you !" She said her eyes taking on a glow as she let out what may been a scream of frustration or a strangely high note as she shoved the staff forward towards the orks head. Her own screaming note had been joined by the dying screams of the Nob before both quickly cut out. At the end of the note/scream had stopped wraithbone had wrapped its way around the staff like ivy coming to a point which had buried itself in the orks skull coming out on the other side the wraithbone gnarled like roots protruding from the back of their skull. Pulling the staff back the thin wraithbone snapping away and the orks grip slipping as it fell dead.

Baeleris turned around only to see the raiders and for once in her life the Bonesinger was elated to see a craft of the dark kin, only to watch them both burst into flames. She just stared there as the Incubus cut down her own ork focussing on their own work, not seeing the Wych amongst the sea of Orks and Imperials. She remembered the Scorge's words "you get used to it over time" the whispered promise of a world without pain, to bring it to others to keep it from herself. Admist the Raging tides of bodies it all seemed so appealing.

She began to sing but it was far from her normal performances, whilst her usual songs flowed the picth here dropped and rose wildly tunes changed and notes were chosen seemingly haphazardly. She let her rage and saddness flow out in her voice , sharp pieces of wraithbone careening through the air around her no regard where they flee or where they hit. She stood in the middle of that killing field performing a concerto of bloodshed and she took far more satisfaction then she should've had any right towhenever a shard hit. It was wonderful

Whether it was his own willpower or pure hatred, despite the sapped power he felt his strength rising and he got back up on his feet, acting a bit like a drunkard and swung his klaive at the Eldar apparition. Giant sword went straight through her, her form dissolving in an instant...only to reappear moment later, right next to him.

"Now, now, don't get feisty my dearest of all Incubi," she told him, Kaesar seeing her lips actually moving this time around. She made a gesture with her hand, a simple wave really, that made Kaesar swirl on his feet, almost falling back down on the ground again. "You possess great strength, it would be foolish to waste it away like that. Even if you want it more than anything else in this world, you cannot harm me for I am a part of you as you are a part of me."

"But what would that strength do you if you are not powerful enough to use it?" she asked him, suddenly the entire world around them seemingly slowing down. Kaesar felt the strain on his senses all too well as well, feeling awkward and sluggish, just like everyone around, except for the Lady. He also saw three Orks, two Boys hefting cleavers and one Tankbusta coming at him after seeing that he got back up on his feet and was swinging his klaive around - apparently they decided he wasn't dead after all and wanted to come and make sure he stayed dead this time around.

"Would you like to have the power to do this?" She asked him, pointing at the incoming Greenskins and the fact they moved in slow motion. "I know the example in front is not the best one, this alien filth is beyond our notice but think about it nonetheless." She turned her back on the Orks and continued talking, her hair moving freely now, the braid fitting her quite nicely.

"You can call me Valeria and rest assured, I am no daemon. What I want from you is simple - I want you to let me in. It has been a long time since I properly felt the world around me and I long for it, more than you can possibly know. Fate has finally decided to send me someone worthy of my gift, someone strong enough to carry me without burning out, someone like you. Think about this Kaesar, with me at your side, your every dream can be made possible. My power, for your touch."

Seeing the incoming air support for the Imperials, Kadara elected to let the hellion-to-be-helliarch fight his own battle, turning her massive dark lance on the thunderhawk and attempting to take aim for its cockpit, squeeing her trigger and sending a beam of dark energies at the machine's cockpit, hoping to land a fortunate strike, hit the pilot, and down the vessel.

"On it," she snarled through her Vox at Ven (@Vlayden).

Kaesar stumbled forwards, leaning on his klaive and swatted at the apparition with his hand. She could have been saying all the things he wanted to hear, to get past the barrier and take over.
"Part of me?! All my life I've made sure I'm nothing but a wretch, staving off the hunger for power, sneering beneath the boots of my masters and you want to cling on to someone like that?" he spat the words out.

In his mind he went through all the possibilities and bloodshed he could unleash, trying not to get intoxicated by those fantasies. Kaesar let out a painful rasping laugh, he was certain he was going to die because of this. Prelude to his downfall may be now beginning. Valeria scared him, the previous feelings of sorrow bothering him to no end. He had no reason to trust her at all for her promises were bittersweet.

"You might be disappointed leaving control to me..I..."
Gripping his klaive tighter, Kaesar stumbled toward the approaching enemies. A bit unwillingly he started to resist less and less.
"Just. Let me kill...Valeria...I beg of you...cut the leash..!"

Having had her way murdering a couple of Orks that had gotten in her way, Heltherith was taken by surprised when she got punched in the ribs and sent sprawling onto the floor, pain being.... Something she wasn't finding fun, something that made her grunt. As she got back onto her feet and out of the way of the Greenskin's fist, she spat at the Ork "Well, if I were you I'd shut up and accept the fate of death before you really draw my ire."

While the battle had clearly shifted in favour of the humans, the Wych also took a moment to try assessing the state of her allies... And frankly, she couldn't tell who'd drawn the short straw when it comes to events to deal with, be it whatever Kaesar was struggling with, or Baeleris sounding very much like someone in need of post-mission talking to.

Still, the Dark Eldar moved to finish off the Ork Nob who had struck at her with her Mirrorswords and then after potentially slaying the Nob, keep herself safe from any more attackers while she properly checked her wounds to make sure she wasn't going to have to worry about having to do some emergency patching up of herself.

Again, they choose to go for my legs. First the priest, now these amateurs.. Fine then.

His eyes still followed Saghiar, but his ire was placed at those behind him, even as the occasional las shot lit up the underside of his board, a spare bolt plinking off of the hanging helmet of a certain slain Chaplain. The board whipped about, ridding him of cover for a split second as his toes dug into the platform and the wing closed on the Hellions who had thought to target him. In his passing, the bladed skimmer severed the chains of the duo. The skimmer pulled one last turn, rising until its rider was parallel to the ground far below, las bolts flying by as his glaive slipped out and punched into one of the control pads of the pair, causing them to begin a wild flip into their comrade. In quick order, the two began their plummet down below, skyboards diving after them now completely under sway of gravity.

Now on to my main target, as poor a target as he is.

And that was where hatred bubbled over in the former Helliarch. These packs of Hellions that catered to the Archons were.. Weak. Their equipment may be better, their profits tangible yet.. There was none of the strength, none of the zeal, or the lust for life that he himself possessed. The wild ones were chained down by the Kabal. They weren't worthy of their mounts, none more insultingly so than the living, breathing, and bleeding scabbard for his chainsaber down below.

Kholivaz was a dark blur as he made a screaming divebomb for Saghiar, throat going raw as he gave voice to a disgust and fury that he had long ignored since his return. His glaive crashed into his opponent's board, looking to capture the stunclaw in his hooked blades even as he free hand reached out to grasp the handle of the chainsaber currently buried in Saghiar's shoulder. Once he could get a grip on that, he would send the injured Helliarch screaming to the ground before his fated meeting with Slaanesh, after a few choice words.

    <Upper Hive - Endgame>
    @kanila @Draconion @Maleth @Kalle @Skarboy @bossaroo @Wata @Vlayden

Charging at the Assault Marine, Thû saw the Mon-Keigh opening fire but the bolts missed him, flying wildly as the Mandrake leapt through the air. Forming a balefire blast, the warp energy flew at the Space Marine but he was ready for it, jumping out of the way and meeting Thû head on. Chainsword clashed with the power blade and teeth broke, flying all over the place while the second power sword found purchase and the Assault Marine lost his balance as he just lost half of his leg. But he wasn't dead yet and he lashed out with his broken chainsword, slamming it across Thû's face in an explosion of blood and shadow, the Mandrake's mask cracking to reveal only darkness behind.

Raising his pistol to fire, Space Marine's next action was cut short as a hail of splinter fire engulfed his helmet, loads of shards going through the eye lenses and making a mess out of his skull. Turning around Thû would see that the Kabalite he scared before actually obeyed his command, but not only due to the fear factor, nor was he the only one.

Simultaneously, Aesra fought his nemesis and managed to finally bring an end to this conflict. The pain he felt was immense but the combat stimuli he injected couple of moments ago carried him further, giving him the strength to endure and do what has to be done. Too focused on savoring the agony, Aerith was too slow to realize the immediate danger and his eyes went wide at the last moment, right before Aesra drove the knife up, straight through his jaw and into his brain. Losing the grip of the power sword, Aerith simply toppled down on the deck, the death finally claiming him.

The feeling of satisfaction overrode the pain for an instant, Aesra standing straight for couple of moments before he too fell down, the sword still stuck in his stomach. In such condition and without the help of his beasts he was an easy prey for the remaining Kabalites, however the strike that would claim him never came to pass. Seeing what transpired, out of eight remaining Dark Eldar, five simply turned their rifles on the remaining three and riddled them with shards, their bodies falling over the edge of the Raider.

One of those Kabalites was the same one Thû "persuaded" and he was the one who stepped in front first. "Our Sybarite (Aerith) made us do it and we had to obey. Now that he is dead, we give our life to you masters," he stated and the remaining Kabalites nodded, of course expecting the worst and prepared themselves for it, but in was clear by their body language that they looked for no more trouble.

While the Scions secured the Raider transport, outside of it the fighting reached its peak. Kaesar saw Valeria giving him a motherly smile before spreading her arms and reaching out of him. The moment she touched him she disappeared and he felt a surge of power rising within him like he never felt before. The strength returned to his limbs and was increased tenfold, at that moment the Incubus feeling like he could conquer this world by himself.

Orks that were going after him were still there and were still moving in slow motion, while he was free to do whatever he wanted. Simply reaching them and cutting them to pieces was child's play, and he continued doing it to five more boys and two Nobs, the Greenskins looking dumbfounded as he ripped their bodies apart without them even registering his attacks. But for all this power he got Kaesar felt the presence of another being, throbbing against the back of his skull. For good or ill, Valeria was there, and she was here to stay.

He knew of course that the effect of this "power up" wasn't indefinite and it ended as he heard the familiar voice sing. Baeleris, using all the hatred, all the anger she had but had to bottle it down during the time of her imprisonment flow into her song, the emotion mixed with the sorrow she felt for those around you created a most stunning piece she ever preformed. Words filled with both sadness and rage escaped her lips and for a moment, it would seem that every combatant on the battlefield stopped and looked at her, for such was her performance. Having her crowd "stunned", Baeleris reached the climax of her song and beauty was given room for the beast.

Thousands of wraithbone shards mixed with blood and flesh of those fallen around formed in the air above the Bonesinger before they violently exploded all around the battlefield. The destruction was immense - every single Nob was dead with most of the tankbustas as well, their bodies torn asunder by the sonic energies carried by the reverberating bone. Those Orks that survived called it a day and legged it, running back towards their lines with the pure horror written on their faces. Imperials didn't fare better as more than half of their Guardsmen were literary sliced apart, their bodies littering the ground, limbs in their dozens chopped off. Those surviving were in such horrible condition that there was no way for them to continue with the fight, while even the Hellhound tank suffered the same fate as its metal was twisted and buckled in at least twenty places, the crew inside turned into a soup.

Such was the instant destruction that Baeleris felt dizzy, all this death that she caused placing a heavy pressure on her soul as the veil between the worlds thinned. Thankfully, both Venessia and Heltherith were there to witness it, after quickly dispatching the Nob attacking her the Wych also had to duck so she doesn't get hit by the flying wraithbone while Venessia, being a bit closer to the epicenter used couple of dead Ork bodies as sort of a shield so she too went through the deal without injuries. Of course, it was clear that after the performance the Bonesinger needed help so they were free to do so if they wanted and they could reach the Raider since there were no more immediate enemies around them.

The mayhem Baeleris caused also had repercussions on the Heliarch duel above, as the wraithbone flew through the air and made little difference to who was friend or foe. Couple of Hellions met their end by getting sliced apart by the shards of living bone, while Saghiar's own board was cut in two, him loosing touch of it and continuing his descent free falling. It made no difference to Kholivaz however as he managed to maneuver through the shards and reach the Lord Heliarch in his flight. He got in time to catch the stun claw and his own chainsword, activating the motor and ripping into broken body, Saghiar finally at his mercy (@Skarboy if you had some ideas on what you wanted to do with Saghiar, feel free to do so, I didn't want to assume much so I left it open like this :) He's pretty much done for).

Finally, above all of this commotion - as it was right and proper for one of her kind - Kadara could easily see the devastation caused by psychic power below, perhaps that was one of the reasons the Dark Eldar hated witches and prevented their entrance into Commorragh whenever they could. Sheer magnitude of killing was so great that even she could spot leering faces here and there all across the ground, being nothing more than an afterthought or simple trick of the eye, although she knew better than to attribute it to such things.

However that was a topic for another time as the Scourge took aim of the Space Marine flyer and opened fire while it hovered in the air, the Assault Marines still dropping out of it to reinforce the troops below. It was an easy shot really, the pilot within it too late to spot the danger and tried to lurch to the side, but the stocky gunship was not made for quick maneuvers and the cockpit exploded as the beam of dark energy pierced through it. Like a ripple effect the explosion engulfed the entire Thunderhawk which couple of moments later went to straight to hell, bringing all those who remained inside with it.

This move, besides taking out half of Space Marine reinforcements, also brought their ire on the Dark Eldar and Kadara could see those three Stormtalons trying to angle their attack run on her and the rest of the Scions below. Now was definitely time to run.

    -----

As for the overall battle, the Orks were slowly getting pushed back, Hawk Lords being famous for their piloting skills used their aircraft to cut through the Greenskins in such fashion that it was impossible for them to gain a solid ground. Adding to that, even more Imperial Guardsmen rolled in the area, bringing couple of Leman Russ tanks that started pounding into the Rokk and its surroundings, killing Greenskins by their hundreds.

As for the Dark Eldar, those few pockets of resistance that remained were overrun, Kouron himself falling victim to couple of hundred of las shots, most inglorious death for the old man but a death nonetheless. Recovering his body would be almost impossible given the fact pretty much only Scions remained alive from the entire strikeforce and that was also a fact that could change pretty soon if they lingered in this place any longer.

Not even attempting to stand, because he lacked the strength to, Aesra motioned for the one who spoke to move closer. Covered in his own blood save for his hand and forearm that had the traitor's blood staining it, he spoke in raspy breaths. "Bring us home... and... bring me... Heltherith." Removing his helmet, Aesra dropped it to the deck of the raider as the kabalites carried out his commands. He closed his eyes breathing in the death of his nemesis. "You should've... let it go... you would've... lived longer." He said to the corpse, before spitting a glob of blood in his face. "Coward."

His face dripping inky black blood that dissipates into wisps of shadow almost before it touches the deck, Thû runs a hasty systems check on the Raider to ensure it is still capable of operation. One eye on the incoming Space Marine air power, he waves an arm over his head and projects his voice in a thunderous bellow over the battlefield, all silky suaveness abandoned in the heat of the moment.

"ALL ABOARD NOW, OR GET LEFT BEHIND! YOU HAVE TO THE COUNT OF FIVE!"

With all going to hell around her, Kadara quickly lost her nerve to continue the fight. Three Stormtalons was more than she cared to compete with, and she veered around in the air, gliding on thermals, swooping down on the Raider to land in the back, propping her dark lance up on the side of the vehicle and attempting to get off a shot at her pursuers. She looked to the others who had boarded, but her masked face revealed nothing and she said nothing.
