    <Thû> @Draconion

With a great mental effort Thû managed to look away, reeling away from the sights hammering against his vision and trying to find that safe harbor, that small speck of shadow located just beyond his grasp. Whether did that two-headed bird let him go, growing bored with his insignificant presence and psychic strength, or did his affinity to traverse the corrupted mid-realms saved him he would never know, but in the end Thû was free of its grasp and he woke up in his own chambers, feeling tired as he never felt before.

    <Kadara - Roost> @Kalle

Alpha Scourge nodded in satisfaction and lowered his gun. "Good, that is how a proper Scourge acts. However remember, you will only be humble when relaying an important message, in every other situation you will do well to remember that we are the nobility of this Dark City. We rule the skies and all below us must pay us respects. Never again shall you kneel before anyone else but your contractor. Now come, there is work to be done."

Kadara would spend the next week alongside this particular Alpha Scourge, who would teach her everything there was to flying and overall getting used to her new body. Of course, she would have to learn her limits later on by herself but in the end, the experience would do her only good. By the time her training was over, she would receive two items - a dark lance as a reward for her obeying commands and a small bleached bone taken out from a fallen Scourge's claw, the symbol of her new calling.

OOC Feel free to write how the stuff went down precisely if you wish. You are also free to return to the Crimson Moon and start doing your thing there :)

    <Kholivaz> @Skarboy

Kholivaz's throw was quite good actually, the way the female Hellion bore down on him preventing her from properly moving away with keeping her leg in one piece. However she wouldn't be completely beaten there as the moment when chainsword bit through the chain she jumped off from the skyboard, landing on the ledge couple of feet from Kholivaz and using the momentum to strike at him with her hellglaive, awarding the Corsair with yet another long cut across his open chest and another possible scar.

Skyboard remained humming nearby, out of reach of both combatants as the female tried to once again strike at Kholivaz with couple of brutally basic blows going to both his head and body in order to throw him out of balance and into the gaping abyss below.

    OOC something like this :)

    <Kaesar, Venessia - Incubi quarters (Spire)> @Wata @Vlayden

If the girl payed any attention to Kaesar's threats or behavior she gave no signal as she advanced upon him, with each step she took towards him the Incubi felt as his strength was being sapped away. Then he heard the door crashing and Venessia storming inside, the moment it took him to look away was the moment the girl disappeared completely, as if she was never here, leaving him with bad memories and even worse headache.

Kaesar was breathing heavy, which he didn't notice at first. His eyes darted back and forth to the mirror and Venessia.

What just happened? Am I losing it? Did I just do this to myself or was this an attack? What the fuck is going on?

Kaesar walked over to Venessia, grabbed her Punisher from her hands and trashed the mirror to thousand pieces with it in one swing, leaving a large scar on the wall too.

    "Delighted to see you, darling."
Kaesar said with a strained smile to Venessia and handed the Punisher back to her. He walked past her and sat down on his bed, nursing his headache grabbing another bottle of wine from under it and took a hefty swig. His rib radiated severe pain over his side, forcing him to wince. He placed the bottle on the floor between his legs and buried his head in his hands, rubbing his temples to alleviate the headache.

    <Heltherith> @Maleth

"Is that so? How unfortunate it was only wine, but I heard your Archon is very fond of his little games so this makes sense," the cloaked man grinned, his mouth visible below the long cowl.

"You know what I also heard? That you and couple of other members of your team were, after the debriefing concluded, summoned to talk with Zar'uil in private. Care to shed some light on the matter, on the topic of the conversation?"

    <Hetax - arena> @Grall_Stonefist

Hetax's wish was made reality as he entered the arena with the next batch of combatants, joining the group of six wracks armed with splinter pistols. There was another group of wracks entering the arena from a nearby entrance, once again six of them only they were armed with hooks and chains, similar to the item Hetax carried himself although of a much worse quality.

Ranged against them was a horde of misshapen mon-keigh, all located around a set of upright turned stones made to mimic a temple from some savage backwater world. These things were definitely touched by corrupting force of the Warp, some of them had three legs instead of two, some had bulging chests and small heads, others sprouted horns or feathers from their heads, while some even had strange animal heads instead of normal skulls.

All in all, they were a pretty sad bunch however no less dangerous because, once they saw Hetax and wracks, they stopped doing whatever they were doing by that time and charge outside, going straight for them, hefting crude clubs, cleavers and other sorts of primitive weapons. There was no form to their attack, just a mindless fury made manifest.

OOC you are getting attacked by a horde of mutants\beastmen, emote free kills as you see fit :)

    <Ave'ras - Ruined hab blocks (hunting grounds)> @bossaroo

Kouron shrugged, ordering for the slaves to be escorted away so that Ave'ras' plan could be implemented. In truth, the Seneschal was obviously quite bored with this basic but important task, which it meant that it had to be done. Then, if a person arrives that actually wants to do it, then by all means, Kouron was content with letting it go.

What it meant for Ave'ras is that his group of twentyish recruits, after the rest of the Kabal's forces packed their stuff and jumped on the Raiders, showed not much promise as they looked quite shaken. Thankfully, they were smart enough not to speak up and soon, they headed into the ruins altogether, using the old tactics "the more the merrier" and moving in a single file through the dangerous urban terrain.

Soon, they were gone out of sight however Ave'ras could track their movement by couple of cameras mounted on three separate recruit's helmets as a way of making sure they didn't just run away (although that would be quite bad for their health as even if they manage to evade getting ambushed by Ur-ghuls, then the Kabalites roaming the perimeter would make short work of them).

While he was busy doing that, another Raider transport closed by and he could see the familiar face of Aerith, waving at him. "My friend Ave'ras, or should I say, Sybarite Ave'ras! Congratulations on your promotion man, it's well deserved! Tell me, is your new life as a Recruit Master treating you well? Recruits are not giving you much of a problem I hope?"

    <Aesra - factory complex> @kanila

Traveling outside the stronghold and to the recently acquired and restored factory complex took Aesra around fifteen minutes. Reaching it he saw a small army of slaves moving both through and around the complex, half of them working on the long production lines and overseen by a number of Dark Eldar workmen as well as additional Kabalite Warriors in charge of security, while the other half was doing the construction work, repairing ruined masonry and so on.

Aesra found Eliria on one location just like that, busy with whipping the slaves into shape as they were currently building a big symbol of the Crimson Moon out of some stone blocks, a difficult task for weak mon-keigh but the Slave Mistress didn't seem to overly care about their well-being.

"With enough effort, everything's possible. NOW MOVE!" she barked and smashed her whip into two slaves carrying ladders, making them run away from her and towards the rising statue. Turning around, she spotted the Beastmaster approaching and gave him a friendly smile. "Aesra! What a pleasant surprise! What are you doing all the way out here? Wanna help me go through this thankless task as easy as possible? Help me release stress and all that?" she winked at him, but it was more in a friendly fashion than anything else.

  4. As he saw his curret foes arrayed before him, Hetax would have smiled if he could, sure they where many, and the warp-touched possessing some unnatural strengths, though still to him they where little but animals to be culled.
As they made the maddened charge against him and the lesser wracks, Hetax began spraying the horde with shards from his shotgun, just to slow them down a bit before the real killing started.
Then his hook flew, going through the head of one of the bestial brutes, pulling the dead back as the horde got even closer, then came what he had been waiting for as he leveled his liquifier gun over the horde, and fired a prolonged spray of his extremely dangerous blood, the acidic and toxic blood eating into and indeed starting to liquefy several foes, as others where instead stopped in their tracs falling over thrashing in agony, this was good, not just to keep going.

"Your ears would be correct, for apparently the four of us had shown leadership skills through the missions that had been accomplished so far and so might be considered earmarked for whatever he has planned." Heltherith replied, once again attempting to keep the spy from sensitive information, but letting slip something that at least made sure he was likely to come back to her.

"Although, I think that would also imply he'd keep closer eyes on the four of us just in case we happen to be disloyal." The Wych chuckled, indicating that her part about being watched was utter bull: A calculated attempt to keep the mole on side, and omitting the fact she herself was perhaps the closet thing to being the watch-person for such treachery.

    Unfriendly Skies

There was a certain irony to being a Scourge. Kadara had always been a consummate professional. Even greater composure was demanded of her now, but she had a bestial craving like nothing she had felt before. But that was life in the Dark City --- a knife's edge between iron-willed discipline and feral savagery --- and she would like it no other way. Her rebirth thrilled her --- filled her with something more than just a grim satisfaction, but also something that could be described as joy --- and she became absorbed with advancing herself and adapting to her new body. Sparring and brawling with her Scourge peers under the watchful supervision of Solarites had taught her to use her new, unnatural arsenal with a great degree of skill. And the scum below? Only target practice for her dark lance.

And not only her enhancement made her unrecognizable from her past self; her Ghostplate was a thing of terrible beauty. The armor's excellent construction was molded to her body and gave her complete freedom and control over her large, leathery wings. Whereas her Kabalite armor had been modest and unremarkable, the Ghostplate was wrought in the image of the terrible creature its wearer had become. The limbs were serrated with many cruel, blade-like protrusions, its gauntlets were clawed in imitation of her own enhanced hands, and it was fashioned with large crests that resembled bat-like ears or maybe a daemon's horns. The armor was colored pitch black, as dark as any abyss, except for the baleful red stare of her helm's visor. The bone trinket she had received from the elder Scourges was worn in a necklace around her neck, while her loyalty was marked by a crimson sash bearing the Kabal's runes.

    Homecoming

Though she had never seen the Crimson Moon's stronghold from the skies before, Kadara recognized the massive fortification and its array of sprawling support structures like it was the palm of her own hand --- despite having had said palm replaced. Kabalites knew better than to fire upon a Scourge with a mission, and Kadara found herself landing unmolested before the stronghold's gates. They opened for her. The Scourge touched down and folded her wings close to her body, resting her dark lance against a shoulder as she marched inside.

The first thing was reclaiming her locked quarters. She strode inside and accounted for all her possessions and trophies. She loaded off her heavy equipment once satisfied and stored it upon racks along the walls, though she kept her monomolecular knife and splinter pistol on hand --- all smart Commorites did. Then, she summoned a slave to announce for the Archon that his Scourge had returned and would be awaiting summons at his pleasure.

She wondered how the other Scions had busied themselves over the course of the last two weeks. She knew that celebrations were in order in light of her ascension, however, and found herself bound for the pleasure bar. Yes, celebrations were in order...

Hopping off his skyboard he approached Eliria, "They moving a little to slow for your liking? I have a fix for that." Snapping his fingers his newest beasts materialized from the warp with a bone chilling howl. "Fear is always a good motivator don't you agree? Shall we make an example of one of these unfortunate souls?" He said with a wicked grin hidden under his helm. "I'm guessing you don't have your tools with you sadly. I have an itch for some of your fabled work my dear. Also a little bird has told me someone has been asking around about me, have you heard anything?" Aesra cut to the chase on both, though there was always time for a little fun.

A VERY slight squint was given under the helm before she sighed, taking the Punisher and patting his cheek. "Sad to see you despising your own looks, now." She teased, before making her way to the door - a brief glance around the room to make sure nothing was... Wrong.
Aside from that, unless she was halted, the Incubus would make her way back onto her typical patrols.

Another scar to the collection, another imperfection to taunt She Who Thirsts.

Kholivaz's musing was interrupted as he ducked low to avoid another red line across his chest, left leg going wide to the edge and all of his weight falling back to the right as he nearly hugged the ground. It would have proved a challenging sense of balance, had he not spent most of his life powering a Skyboard beneath his feet with the same drastic shifts in pressure. Not long now. Leaning back to avoid a nearly fatal cut to the jugular from the opposite end of the Helglaive, the former Corsair launched off of his back foot with the powerful leg muscles of a Hellion, given to a life where such control and strength dictated mastery of the skies. Kholivaz lunged forward to contest for ownership of the weapon before she could threaten him with the bladed ends once more.

His entire body's momentum was put behind those hands as he attempted to grab the weapon and power it up over their heads. Feet moving forward to trip her off balance as he maneuvered his body closer and closer, to the point that their bodies might seem to intertwine in the impassioned embrace.. To be brought to a screeching halt as he would then bring his forehead crashing down on the bridge of her nose. All of this happened in an instant as Kholivaz moved forward, an underhanded and gutsy offensive to put this prey off of her game. It wasn't in his darkest of hearts to consider this particular enemy his equal and a worthy adversary.

Kaesar's emotions were strange today. Sure, he wasn't shy to make suggestions to Venessia (he had done so before casually) but now it felt...strange and awkward. Maybe it was the headache, broken rib being assaulted by ethereal ghost women but he felt strangely vulnerable too. There was absolutely no defense to that that he could summon to his knowledge. He swallowed nervously and gathered his thoughts.

"Ven, feel like staying a while?" He looked at her, masking the amounting pain which was a bit hard to enjoy at the moment. "I could use some relief and you look bored."
