  1. Kal Kalle Arkhona Vanguard

    Kadara

    The lady Kabalite knew her strengths and skills. They would serve well in either capacity, but her pride demanded that she volunteered herself for something else than a tertiary objective, and thus she strode forth after the wyches, chin raised, eyes on the Archon. "I will complete the team striking at the communications center, my lord," she declared. Her brutish disposition stood in quite stark contrast to the lithe figures of the wyches and the other Kabalite. Her rifle was shouldered, and her combat knife was strapped to her thigh.
  2. Wata Wata Arkhona Vanguard

    Kaesar stood silent, arms crossed. He really wanted to test himself against the kroot, Tau were worthless in close combat. Although it'd be amusing to watch their attempts of self defense once Kaesar got close, it'd be a carnage.
    He grinned at the thought maliciously.
    "I will go where I am most needed. I can take any of these objectives."
    Kaesar cracked his knuckles and started to hype himself up mentally for what was soon to come.

    "As for the troops at your disposal, you can pick from the squads of Scourges, Kabalite Warriors, Reavers, Hellions and Venoms. I'll hold Yrara's newest creations in reserve for our attack on the main compound after you complete your tasks and as for the Wyches, since it turned out that our Blood Queen Lyn'shela wasn't too pleased with the troops we took from Zalaya, our entire contingent of them will go alongside my forces."

    "While we are at it, I'm giving the freedom of choosing your means of transport for your designated team leaders, Aesra and Heltherith, which include either Raiders (capacity of 10), Jetbikes (capacity of 1) or Venoms (capacity of 5). Whatever troops you take will go with you according to that although it will be Seneschal Kouron who will say the final word on actual number of additional troops each of your team is going to get."

    OOC so, just say you want e.g. 2 squads of scourges and 3 squads of hellions, and Kouron will see that you get at least something :D

    "Kaesar (@Wata ) you will support the team heading for the Generator - we need that place to be taken swiftly so I believe you'll manage to accomplish that just fine. Hetax (@Grall_Stonefist ) your skills will also be in use during the jungle fighting so you will go with the team attacking the Generator as well."

    "As for their command cadre, I'm unable to give you any specific information. What we know is that their center of rule on this planet should be located in their main compound, from which we could deduce that their leaders are there and not here. So, when you move upon these objectives expect to find some lesser commanders, if you find any at all."

    "If that is all, I leave you to go to the armory and prepare yourself for the raid."

    OOC If you don't have any questions, move into armory phase. There Kouron will wait for you where you can ask for additional troops (this doesn't count on the 5 dudes going with Ave'ras and Thû respectably). Also if you want to rise in Archon's eyes, there's always the option of not asking anyone and doing the job yourself.

    Besides that, pick your means of transportation - I'm fine if some of you wish to ride jetbikes besides the main force, so this will be flexible. As for the additional combat "helpers" you can pick three grenades (plasma, haywire, stun, smoke, poison, incendiary) and one shot of standard combat drugs, like before (Serpentin (d6 bonus on your next d3 attacks) or Adrenalight (an extra attack for d3 rounds). Keep in mind that, due to the fact Dark Eldar combat drugs are highly toxic, after the effect wears off I'll roll an additional dice for possible drawback such as losing some hp, getting stunned, etc. Therefore taking combat drugs is optional.

    Zar'uil's raised his eyebrow as Keshariel talked, something akin to amusement crossing his features. "Ah, a fellow admirer of the art? This is not a surprise for I have heard some rumors about you, one of the reasons why I invited you here, but now I can also say that not every rumor in Commorragh is false. And to answer your question, I find the metaphor quite fitting."

    "In fact, during the days of my youth I have dabbled into mathematical part of the music, trying to learn the higher harmonies in order to weaponize them similar like the items some of the creatures of She Who Thirsts use for warfare. Alas, the experiments eventually failed due to me finding out that, with my knowledge at that time, it was impossible to reproduce daemonic essence using science at my disposal or create a suitable substitute. And I eventually got bored with it but maybe if I tried it again, the result might be different. Which also reminds me, I might show you my collection of musical pieces that predate the Fall, if you of course decide to stay."

    "You see Keshariel," like before, the Archon talked in quite a friendly manner which was perhaps another tactic he employed to throw others off guard, "My Kabal, the Crimson Moon, is starting to rise and will not stop until it reaches the place it deserves at the top. Soon, after we get the necessary supplies from our upcoming realspace raid, this entire tier will have no choice but to surrender to me. And that is only the beginning."

    "However I know that for that to happen, I need a cadre of capable lieutenants to enforce my will, both within and without. And that is where you come in. A capable, smart wych who failed to rise in power only because of a seemingly irrelevant and tiny fact. Here, the only thing that will matter if one is to rise or fall is his own knowledge and skill, and trust me, chances for one such individual, if having what it takes of course, to climb the ranks of such expanding Kabal are quite big."

    "Question is, are you up to the challenge or are you content with living an unimportant life alongside the other dregs of the Dark City?"

    Entering the armory Aesra grabbed two haywire grenades, one incendiary grenade and a dose of Serpintin. Once he was satisfied he approached the Dracon Kouron, "Dracon I wish to request a squad of Reavers, four squads of kabalites, three squads of hellions, with Raiders for transport." He knew that the request was large, but the way he saw it, the more he asked for the better chance of him getting what he actually needed. Honestly a smaller force would work but he would rather not risk failure for underestimating the Tau. They were inferior but a cornered enemy was far more dangerous than a superior one.

    <Thû>

    As the gathering is dismissed to the armoury, Thû goes over to thump Kaesar on the shoulder. @Wata

    "Once more into the breach, eh, my friend? You'll get to kill to your heart's content this time, I'm sure," he says in a hearty tone.

    Moving over to Aesra, he begins to talk shop. @kanila

    "What is your plan of approach? I'm fine with anything, so long as it's distracting enough for me to drop close and unobserved."

    While he speaks, he picks out his grenades: 2 x plasma and 1 x poison

    In addition, he picks up a utilitarian combat knife on a whim and tucks it into his belt. For his choice of transport, he selects a Reaver jetbike equipped with a Heat Lance on its axial mount.

    Turning to face the Mandrake, "Firstly I will gather what wildlife is available to use as a distraction. During that time I would like for you to scout an area for our forces to infiltrate through." Aesra paused briefly in thought before continuing. "Of course once our approach has been determined I will send the local wildlife to harass the main gates while we move on the area you have designated. But of course you may enter from any direction you choose, the benefit of being a shadow dancer." He leaned back against a crate crosssing his arms as he waited for his request to be answered as well as for Thú's response.

    Thû strokes his chin thoughtfully as he listens to the Beastmaster's plan.

    "I see. Your time window for wildlife roundup? I would imagine no less than fifteen minutes. If so, may I suggest a layered, multi-pronged approach? During your roundup phase, aerial assets will perform a low-altitude reconnaissance circuit of the objective, incidentally drawing enemy attention and fire while they are at it. During that time, I will insert on foot with a small team for close-in reconnaissance of the target. I will insert as opportunity presents, remaining in contact with my team, which will hold position as an advance reserve to support either the infiltration action or the main push as necessary, taking advantage of my reconnaissance as I infiltrate the target site."

    @Draconion

    "Fair enough, just as long as that doesn't cause them to raise the alarm. Upon first contact they could attempt to send a messenger to report of the attack." Again taking a moment to think before answering. "What about this, since you can travel through shadows. I could send one of my Razorwings to fly over the base while you follow in its shadow. Your 'friends' could perform the outer recon while you the interior. That way we can limit their reaction time to prepare a defense."

    "Sounds like a plan. We'll do that, then," replies Thû with an emphatic nod, "I will organise the close-in reconnaissance team."

    With that, he makes a show of moving amidst the assembled Kabalites, picking out five men seemingly at random, but in actual fact gathering the Enforcers assigned to him in private earlier and briefing them as to the plan.

    @Colapse

    "Once I am in, I will relay the layout of the interior to you in real time. My first task will be to designate an entry point for you, as your primary designation is as a covert reserve for deep striking the enemy. Once that is done, relocate to said entry point and cover and conceal until called for. Requisition a Venom for your transport. Any questions?"
