Scions Of Necrontyr

  1. 0_0' I go to sleep and this happens. I suppose that flip-thongs are a truly fascinating topic to some.
On the matter of other topics though, what do you suppose it is on Arkohna that has fascinated the Eldar so much? An ancient Necrontyr warmachine? A tomb world? An immanent advance in 40ks plotline?
  2. Well obviously the Eldar are here because they heard this Big green hunk named Rokdak lives on the planet. As for the Necrons..... I don't know I guess they want to be spooky?

Who knows about the Eldar. Maybe a farseer saw that if they come to fight, an Exodite world will be left alone.

Cue the search for said world.
  4. I bet the Eldar just want to be included in all of the politics of the 40k universe.

They "say" they "see" things before it happens. My expert opinions is that they just go someplace and if there is an enemy there they just think "called it!" despite not actually having called it.

In actually I'm really dying to know. Im a lore nut so if this has any importance I want to be all over it. GIVE ME LORE OR GIVE ME DEATH.

Damn elves. They should try to get to Andromeda galaxy, for their own sake.

Maybe Eldar thinks this is the Necron Tomb World and they want to destroy it before it is awaken.

    Eldar...?

    ELDAR?

    I HATE THEM SO MUCH.

Acting indirectly, instead of facing the main pourpse. Always taking the easiest way and never going the distance themself.

Getting all emotional when in combat, all being psychic time bombs. Claming that they are the one that are right.

I cheer any Eldar defeat with ever y cirket of my body. Every singel atom crying out for them to end exsistance. all going to die, In pain or quick blast of a Doomsday cannon. Every gauss flare, every tesla spark All of our doomsday devices should be dedicated to taking out all of those wraith bone abominations out of real space. and send it back to the blasted warp where they can praice that pink Futa man of a Chaos god.

I dont care. THIS is my reality and they can eat fight. but I got all the time in the universe to end them.

They are to be Exterminated for the sake of all of reality. Our reality....

    Now that said.

I am gonna go for a nice cup of extermination... I need that.

And let not even mention their helmets... its not mature...

The short stories seem to imply that something of immense power is around Arkhona. I say around because it could be in the planet or in the system somewhere and Arkhona is just the beginning. War being war they either want it or just want to keep others from possessing it.

What is that immense powerful thing? I don't know. In a universe like WH40K it could be many things. It's been said to be something of "great power that can effect the galaxy" pretty much in any time someone asked about it and Devs answered. Jain Zar then said in The Hound of the Warp short story "‘You are a fool, sorcerer,’ she hissed. ‘Arkhona will burn the galaxy!’"

    Also these:
"Well, at GenCon I revealed to one of the fans that the Orks entire interest in Arkhona revolves around their desire to build the largest red waterslide the galaxy has ever known.
    -snip-
No two Armies have the same motivation behind why they're sending forces there
    "
    - said here by IvanMulkeen (former Narrative Designer; cool guy, Keeper of Toes the Squirrel and owner of a book Titled 'How to troll the internet')
"No Arkhona is not a forge world, it's also not a tomb world."
It's a fortress world that's been put in ruin and stranded. There are other planets in the system that could be tomb worlds. There's concept art of the Kharon system in the media section here. For specifics it's said in Blood Price short story, "‘Segmentum Obscurus, Scyllan Sector, Atreyan sub-sector. Imperial Cartographae Designation Three-Nine-Nine-Seven, Lambda-Ultima Compliant.’" I have no idea where this is in a space map.

My wild theory (emphasis on wild) is something that can produce and even influence the Tyranids hence their being there without a hive fleet. Though that is a direct copy of something in the story of Starcraft 1: Brood War so very unlikely. Who would even be able to manage that anyway? More wildness, Dark Eldar or Necrons are doing it to amass a wall o' nids to fight the Chaos forces at the Eye of Terror (and anyone else around of course). Absolutely crazy lol.

    EDIT: @ZceeNook Hate Eldar?[IMG]

@ZceeNook Can't agree more, my lord. Slaying Eldar makes me remember what satisfaction is. I once aimed the planet killer weapons of our voidfleet on an Exodite World. We kept shooting until it became a nebula. A good actitity against semi-life boredom; cannot recommend it enough.

Dark Eldar are another matter though. At least they do things themselves, but they think of themselves to be so awesome it's double satisfying to show them how wrong they are. Not to mention their reliance on pain/fear tactics is worthless on us Necrons.
