    Seth let out a ear piercing whailas his hands went to his head, it would be his voice first that would the be accompanied by the other members of his warband would fill the air Run on the ground with omne of her arms on her head as she was in a ball others wit hands on there head as horrifying visions filled there head.

    As these voices filled the air it caused Gunter to stop the Cry's of his flock causing him a moments thought. "A poor Shepard leaves his flock to the wolves in there time of need. You may eescape this day coward but the predators shall always be hunting." Gunther said not realizing he was taking outloud.

    Changing directions he ran towards he screaming using the cover Seth had lifted from the earth for him using it as cover Gunther attempted to use this cover to get into a position were he could see both sides and send a frag towards the militiamen.

    OOC taking cover using lifted earth and throwing a frag towards the militiaman
  2. "Quiet, isn't it"
    "I know. I love it."
    "Doesn't that just mean they are hiding?"
    "This is real quietness. Listen to it. There are sounds. It's not forced, like held breath. Natural silence."
    "What does that mean?"
    "I don't know. Serenity like this is rare in the anarchy."
    "Humanity is taking a breather."
    "Scary thought."
    "And we are witnessing it."
    "Does this mean the cycle starts over again?"
    "No. History has calmness too. Small ponds of silence where only distant echoes of gunfire play. It reminds us that anarchy is turbulence, mayhem. Silence like this sticks out of the fighting. Scrambles it."
    "Doesn't mean we can relax, right?"
    "Of course. Storm after the calm is most brutal."

    Ouroborous idly chats as they march the streets. Feet know where to go, so eyes can focus scanning the surroundings. Once practiced, humans can set simple actions to autopilot. Meaningless chatter to pass time and estimate others position while searching for any threat from surroundings. Though it wasn't completely meaningless. Humans grave for interaction. Spending long times without social contacts effect brains. Sense of unity. Safety in numbers. Feeling of belonging. Everyone seeks these, even in hellish world ruined by war. Be it equal, dominant or submissive. Such is the humanity. Soul of Man. And so vulnerable it is so others manipulation.
  3. "Ooooh, hey boss. I think we got some luck our way for once!" Rilk said as he held up the meltagun while Barnos admired the antitank weapon they just acquired. Before Solin could even turn around to see what the twins had found, Janice was already stepping up to them with a glee in her eyes. "Heeeey, think I could have it?" she asked, a disturbing gleam in her eyes. He knew it was the pyromania coming up to the surface, she wanted another toy which can create incredible heat and destruction. The twins looked at one another before looking back to Janice. "You know, this is an antiarmor weapon." Rilks said first. "Perhaps we should have it, being the specialist in that field after all." Barnos reasoned with a grin that said he had other reasons to withhold the incinerating weapon from her. A heavy silence descended after the audible click of the pilot flame of the heavy flamer was heard, still in Janice's hands. "Heyheyheyehey! I was just joking! You have the assault training for it and I mean why would we ever want to be so close to a tank right?!" Barnos blathered as he took the weapon from Rilk's hands and offering it to her. Before she could pick it up, it was snatched up by Solin who looked directly into Janice's shocked eyes with a cold hard scowl. "Threaten your squadmates again and you'll be on the receiving end of your own weapon. Do you understand me Corporal Sansan." the Lieutenant warned her using her rank and last name before removing the canister from the meltagun, giving her the now inert weapon as punishment for now, and turning around to get everyone moving again. She was the one with assault training. They all collected themselves from the bit of drama and followed the Lieutenant who took point this time, heading to a hab block so everyone could rest up.

    Everyone was doing their own thing in the down time, the twins were sleeping, Bruce and Janice were cleaning their weapons, and Secias was making sure her medical equipment was still up to snuff as the situation could allow. Solin and Shelia Discussed their next point of interest for the group to go to. There wasn't many promising places with an army now roaming about and claiming what they want. There was one place where their could be some hope of salvage even now. "You really think the Noble district is a good spot to search? It was one of the first places the rioters went on their little revenge spree years ago." Shelia brought up, not sure of Solin's idea still. "Knowing the bluebloods they would have had something planned for emergency. Could be safehouses, disguised storerooms, or at least hints of where we could find something. This hive doesn't have much prospect anywhere we go in it Shelia." Solin reminded her, almost sighing as he laid back into the worn chair that was left in the hab block. "I know, I know, ....maybe there is something there. Better than no hope I guess right?" She said with a sad chuckle, shaking her head. They looked at each other and nodded in agreement. To head to the Noble district. Standing back up and getting everyone else on their feet, they left the hab block and headed back out in the deathtrap that was their home.

    OOC: I'm assuming there is such a district or region for the elite like an upper spire for tall hives, correct me if I'm wrong though. :p

    After a few moments of searching around, Remus suddenly had a backtrack idea.

    "Frack, shit!" He said. "Nevermind, remove the banners and hide them. We have no idea what's out there."

    The Drones would then remove the Banners and hide them in... a closet, or something. Any storage room there was in the outpost.

    The Banner's themselves were black. Emblazoned on them were an eight-pointed star, at the center of which being a single, black eye, from which emerged several tentacles which wrapped themselves around the barbs of the Star.

    Around the Star was five symbols: The symbols of Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch, a black tendril from the central Eye touching each Symbol. There was even a Skull symbol, one side black and the other white: The symbol of Malal.

    Beneath the Banner Symbol, there were four runic symbols, meaning a central religious mantra in some unknown language: "One-in-Five, All-in-One", signifying their belief in a central, Absolute Chaos.

    (Back from a no-internet vacation. Things don't seem to be going perfectly for the Order, considering the folly of those banners. I'll just hope that Diplomacy can settle this.)

    The Order then began to gather into a single room of the Outpost for Remus' sermon.
  5. @Azathoth
    As the banners were taken down and the drones went inside for the sermon the hooded figure continued to watch from a far not moving. Whatever his purpose was is anyone's guess and he most likely won't be moving unless forced to.

    @Grall_Stonefist
    The Redemtionists sprung into action with Pontius firing his heavy stubber, not killing any of the scouts but keeping them cowering behind the cover they had found. Next Robertus moved over to the right and unleashed the cleansing flame from his weapon setting three of the scouts alight causing them to run from the flame and get mowed down by the stubber fire. Lenia did not see her chance and did not fire while the penitents lead by a reinvigorated Thane charged the remaining scouts getting into melee while Anvilex fired his weapon killing another scout.

    [Enemies]
    4x Blood Pact scouts

    @Keidivh
    There was another stir in the darkness when the commissar spoke and the figure moved towards the light revealing who or what it was. A Medicae, her uniform was tattered and she was covered in blood but she was alive and able to move. "Thank the throne, my name is Anne Datchwald I've been stuck in here for days." She said approaching the squad. "Is is that monster and his pets dead?" She asked warily trying to look past the guardsmen.

    [Special character added]
    Anne Datchwald: Experienced Medicae (if you have any questions about she can do go a head and ask in the ooc and she's yours so do with her what you will)

    @Vulpas
    Gunther threw the grenade successfully and it landed in the middle of the militiamen and exploded killing five instantly and knocking two away by the force of the blast but not killing them. However with Doc now on the ground flailing about in pain from the visions accidentally sent from the warband's psyker the guardsman took his chance and opened fire hitting the woman in the back making her go limp.

    [enemies]
    2x Militiamen(shell shocked from the explosion)
    1x Guardsman(Making his way around and has shot Doc in the back)

    [Injuries and hindrances]
    Cogsworth: Shot to the chest currently unconscious and bleeding out
    Rin: Shot in the shoulder is unable to use any two handed equipment
    Dok: Shot in the back at point blank may be dead or paralyzed

    (Alright not going so well for you but you still outnumber them and the visions are gone now so the rest of the gang can get to work)

    @BuriasDempsey
    With their destination decided the gang went off to the high rises and ludicrously expensive skyscrapers of the so called "Royal" district that was once inhabited by the world's nobility. They headed do east past the commutations tower and through a housing district to reach it. They took care to avoid the now numerous patrol from the same army they had seen marching to the tower. They seemed to be marking out their new territory and plans for expansions, no doubt bad news for raiders and surviving loyalists. Non the less baring a few close calls the group made it to the outskirts of their destination undetected. (visual aid to show scale)

    @GoreWrencha
    In their wandering the group known as Ouroborous would stumble onto a couple of men in old revolutionary garb with one painting something onto a wall. Their uniforms were clearly aged but they also lacked any form of chaos iconography of the late war revolutionaries. The only identifying symbol on their uniform was a hammer and half crescent half gear on their helmets and shoulders along with rank bars with the highest ranking one with the rank of sergeant. They were speaking the local dialect of low gothic and said something about the blood worshiping savages setting up base in the south east by the old tower. The one painting soon finished and moved away revealing his work. It read "Sanctus, abandoned but not hopeless!" in bold red letters with the same hammer and sickle icon at the end of the sentence. After a brief conversation about orders and preparations the group left headed north, if the renegades wished they could follow them rather easily if not out of curiosity than just something to do. The cultists gathered around Remus, and his Sermon began.

    "Brothers and Sisters, fellow sons and daughters of Mankind." Remus said. "We are in a world of anarchy. A world where the order of the Imperium has ended, and hope seems dim. Or, that is what those who still follow the Emperor would tell us, isn't it!?"

    The cultists cheer in response.

    "Yes, today is not a day of darkness, but one of hope!" Remus said. "For in Chaos, in disorder, what is there!? FREEDOM! Freedom to discover the Universe's truths, without the Imperium to smother our natural quest for knowledge! We are the warriors chosen by the Warp to help Liberate this planet from the false, blinding light of the Emperor!"

    The cultists roared in approval.

    "Years ago," Remus said, "Valkurya and I were blessed with a great and magnificent vision. A vision that showed us the truth behind all things! We gazed upon the Warp firsthand, and there we saw five great Gods, five immaterial Kings, each upon a throne. But more than that, we say the father of that Pantheon! We saw a single, focal point from which the entire Sea of Souls poured forth! We saw the beginning, and end, of that Immaterial Realm, the Heart and it's Outermost edges! We stared long into the Abyss..... and the Abyss stared back!"

    The cultists stared at Remus with absolute attention. What he was saying was the most important thing in their lives right now.

    "There are five Gods." Remus said. "And yet there is one! And there is ALL! Five, One, All, such words are meaningless in the limitless realm of the Warp! My point, brothers and sisters, is that the Abyss made me into what I am today, and it made Valkurya into what she is!"

    The Cultists clapped their hands and cheered, praising the two leaders of their Warband.

    "And it has made this world what it is now!" Remus roared. "The civil war that plunged our world into Anarchy, is long forgotten, the cause for it, missing from our minds, but we know that the Ruinous Powers had a hand in it! They and their manifold organizations liberated us from our stupor of servitude and showed us the path to our true natures! At long last, we can lead by our Gods example, and bend this world to their will!"

    The cultists continued their cries of praise.

    "I have seen what is to come, Brothers!" Remus screams. "I have seen what the Primordial Creator shall do to this world. Behold, my brothers, a portrait of the One True God and what he has in store for this world! Look upon an artful interpretation of events to come!"

    Two cultists would then bring forward a painting:
    [IMG]

    "This World belongs to the Primordial Creator!" Remus roared. "And we shall deliver it to them! If not us, than others will! Many, many men and women follow Chaos, and if we fail, they will succeed! In the name of Gerborov Joestifsky, the great man who started this world's metamorphosis to perfection, we shall wipe out every last remnant of Guardsmen, Imperial faith and Redemptionists cults! We shall undertake a great and holy purge, in which the unworthy and villainous fools who follow the Emperor shall be punished for their sins! Our victory, my friends, is inevitable!"

    The Cultists' cries of approval reached a true uproar. Many started chanting daemonic and damning hymnals, as Valkurya stepped forward and took Remus' hand. They were the Shepherds, and they would lead their flock to victory.

    A moment later, one of the Cultists, Jacob Danik, was standing on the battlements, and noticed the hooded figure in the backdrop. He pointed his gun towards the man.

    "Who are you?" He asked. "What is your business here?"

    Groans and rage filled yells filled the air Gunther could see through the debris as it cleared his warband was not doing well he needed to take command. "Seth to the charge disembowel them! Theodas help the injured! Gideon support fire Now!" Gunther yelled His commands comijng out like a whip getting his warbands attention. Seth's headed pounded from the voices and visions then Gunther's rage filled voice rang out. Getting up he draw the doc on the ground in pain and another one looking badly silent. following Gunther's order Seth took his staff and began a charge with and with a angered warcry charged at the Guardsmen that took down Doc.

    Gideon slamming home a new drum magazine filled with stub rounds took aim at thee lone guardsmen with rage "For doc and friends!" Gideon yelled in anger and began firing at the guardsmen and militia.

    Run had not heard any orders for herself but her shoulders was damaged and she could see Theodas making his way to towards cogsworth to check on her and could see Seth heading directly for thee guardsmen near doc. She needed to help, taking her autopistol she took aim with her one hands and began firing at the guardsmen near doc.

    Gunther now seeing his warband fighting back went to the charge at the militiamen still in shock. "Slaughter them brothers and sisters for the fallen! For war!" Gunther yelled charging at the shellshock militiamen with his shock maul and sawwed of shotgun in to kill any that got in range.
  8. "SCURGE AND PURGE" Avilex yelled as he lept over the half cover infront of him, as his mob continued the current strategy, he was steeled on joining his melee oriented brothers now to finish off the heretic dogs.
    "PRAISE THE EMPEROR, FOR WE HAVE COME TO REDEEM YOU" he yelled advancing, his gun infront ready to take a shot at their pinned foes, while his mace was lifted high, ready to strike down the unfaithful.

    For a full minute Vail seemed to have forgotten how to breath as she waited for a response. It could have been anything that was waiting for them in the darkness. A mutated beast feasting on the dead, some insane zealot left behind by Avilex, or some Chaos spawned freak looking to raise the dead. Then she saw a simple medicae wander into view, and she nearly collapsed from relief. It was a fracking girl. She slowly regained her breath and tried to remove the shakiness in her voice before speaking.

    "I'm sorry to say Ms. Datchwald that the cretins responsible for this are still alive. Had we known this is what they were doing here. Well lets just say that meeting would have ended differently." Fear shone in the medicae's eyes when she heard the red monsters who killed her people still roamed the streets.

    "Well... Can't say I'm pleased to hear they're alive. But at least you lot don't look like sociopaths." She slowly limped over to the group, nearly collapsing before she collapsed, Kolbe quickly catching her and picking her up. Not wanting to stare at the eviscerated bodies any longer they carried Anne out of the room and to their small camp.

    "So, who the frack are you, and what the frack brought you to this shitehole of a factory?" The medicae asked between desperate drinks of water and tearing into the food given to her. Vail cocked an eyebrow as she watched the bloodied medicae gorge herself.

    "Well, aren't you just a little ray of sunshine. Well, we're Valhallan 597th, here to save what's left of this shitehole of a planet." The medicae laughed morbidly at that as she threw a thumb back towards the gore room. "Yeah, and what a good job your doing. Truly the Emperor's finest."

    Vail rolled her eyes and gave an exasperated sigh. Why can't I just run into normal people? "Well we saved you. and that's a start. Can you walk?"

    "Still have my legs, unlike some of my old friends in there, so yeah I can walk."

    Vail walked up to her and forcefully pulled her to her feet, eliciting a small yelp of pain to the minorly injured medicae. "Good, cause we're moving out now." Immediately the rest of the squadron packed up their equipment while Grifen and Jurgen stood beside her.

    "So ma'am, where to next?" Jurgen had a way of making things seems so simple, made it sound like he was asking if they were deciding which restaurant to go to, and not where to go sot they don't die.

    "We need to find our people old friend. Let's head to one of the residential districts, and pray the Emperor shows us favor."

    Jurgen gaves his reassuring shrug as she finished, "As the Emperor wills ma'am."

    OOC: Off to find friends and fights! Or a Baneblade :p
  10. "When old symbols fall, older ones raise anew. Eagle, Star, Bear, Bull, Hammer. All once acted as a flag for people to rally under. Every new flag-carrier thinks he has destroyed the old ones. That their history is removed. But there is always someone who remembers. Someone who stumbles upon old marks. Someone who sees only the symbol, not the history behind it. Finds it rousing, giving hope. New symbol, new hope, new start. Blind to the history, blind to the what caused it to be destroyed. One can't blame them. Those who carry the flag, enforce the symbol, make sure people under the flag know only about it. Only about its glory. The Eagle rules people with fear and ignorance. And yet, it is the better option.

    Now, new symbol attempts to rise. A Hammer, a Sickle. Two symbols as one. How will their flag rise? How will they mark their people? How will they repeat their history? It is up to us to witness it."

    Ouroborous stands in front of the fresh painting, staring at it. Would this be a milestone, an end and a start of a new cycle? Would they start a new chapter or end their last one? Only time will tell, for this all has happened countless times. History is bound to repeat itself, but it is not single line.

    The group begins to follow the Hammerguard.
