I voted Imperial Fists since they're my table top chapter (and maybe soon to be legion because FORGEWORLD and the possibility of using M'fing Dorn in a game of 30k) but if I could have voted both I would have since if IF hadn't grabbed me then Salamanders would have (strongly considering making a Saly chapter/legion when my IF's are done..oh god). Now, depending on which one is selected I wonder if what some of the benefits of each chapter would be. Would IF Tac marines have the exclusive (or at least reduced cost) option of using a boarding/combat/breaching shields, etc. with other classes? (thought of this mostly because of the HH:Extermination legion rules for the IF might not be 40k-able) Would Salamanders Marines have an easier time getting their hands on Flamer/Melta Weapons and slightly tougher armor owing to their craftsmanship nature?

Just a friendly poll in any regards lol. I'm sure if them or me wanted it to sway in a serious way it wouldn't be that difficult but that's not what its about.
Both are great legions with great leaders, Salamanders win with the care they put to defend the civilians.
