Nothing new in the Rogue Trader store. We're removing packs only today (Xenos, Dawn of the Imperium, Pioneer)
I'm excited with all the work put into the gameplay and interface, but it is extremely disappointing how the RT store is getting absolutely neglected.
We shall name this time "The great RTS drought of 2015". That badge making guy could probably make one for the occasion. But seriously, whats up with such a huge time passing without a single new RTS item... Im assuming its a shift in focus towards making other assets?
I think that it would be irrelevant to add more items at this point, because I have the impression that all of the ones in the store aren't usable/created yet. If it's the same people making the items as it is working on any other piece of the game, it makes more sense for them to focus on the other stuff right now rather than make items that no one can use yet. If it's different people, then my argument is completely invalid. Edit It also seems like it'd be impossible to balance without the rest of the mechanics hammered out.
I'd rather they work on the game, especially since they've been showing it off lately, rather than the RTS so that the live streams can look prettier and more content filled rather than buying some super not special gun with a colour on it that I may or may not like but won't buy because I don't know how good the game as a whole is going to be I'm taking this with a grain of salt, I'm on the Warrior pack until I'm so excited that I open my pant pocket and spread my wallet wide open for them. But that comes with content in game, not the store.
I read half that last sentence then got disturb.... then you said wallet.... little less disturbed but still disturbed in deed.... Also the CSM and SM are slowly getting guns from the RTS store modeled by some of our wonderful Art team. so there is a chance for when we get to play in FA that we will have the ability to use atleast some of the CSM and SM items that we bought
Must have been bad if I disturb the Ork boy Could also be a case that the Art team are taking their time, making everything look really good. I don't mind waiting another week+ to have a gun that looks schmick rather than get it a week earlier and it's ugly as hell, then the Art team feels bad because people say "you suck" and they never design the same again.
