Name:Leonatos Caughran Race: Human-Genestealer Hybrid (Magus) Subrace: Caucasian Faction: Genestealer Cult- The Children of the New Empire Gender: Male Special Skill: psyker Age: looks 25, is actually 50 (Magi, like genestealers, do not age) Height: 6' 1" Weight: 175 Gear: -Blade-Tipped Magus Staff (amplifies psychic power) -Bolt pistol -robes -carapace armor (over the robes) Traits: +Biomancer +Scholarly Mind +Free Will +Determined +Strategic Mind +Inspiring (in his preaching/shows) +-Ambicious (but not conceited) +-Unforgiving +-Average human strength +-Merciless -no physical combat training (although not helpless) -relies on planning - Special traits: - Ymgarl Lineage- Leonatos carries trace amounts of the genestealers from the moons of Ymgarl, making his flesh very adaptable and able to change in a matter of seconds. (nothing OP like a biocannon. more like hands turning into rending claws or scything talons. His skin hardening so that anything less that a direct bolt shell can't harm him or changing color to better camouflage himself. also heals rapidly but within reason.) -Essence of the Shadow- Leonatos, despite being a psyker, has proven to be quite resilient to the Warp and its perils. The reason behind this is the fact that he is a descendant of the Tyranids, who are well-known to create The Shadow in the Warp. Leonatos passively generates a protective field that extends no more than to himself, much copying a lower form of an Astartes Librarian's "psychic hood". Psychic abilities: (all but hypnotic voice can be found under Biomancy in the 6th edition 40k rulebook) -Smite: Lethal bolts of bio-lightning leap from Leonatos's fingertips tearing his foes apart. -Warp Speed: The powers of the Immaterium flow into Leonatos, heightening his speed to supernatural levels. A blur is he amongst his enemies, felling them with blows to swift to see. -Enfeeble: As Leonatos channels his powers, tendrils of Warp energy lash over his victims, every caress sapping vitality from their bodies. -Haemorage: Focusing his mind, Leonatos reaches forth and sets a fire within his victim's flesh. Within moment's the unfortunate foes's blood begins to boil in its own veins, tearing him asunder as it bursts from every pore. -Hypnotic Voice: Like all other Magi, Leonatos's very voice compels all who may happen to hear. Only the most stalwart of character may hope to resist his will. Family Tree: My father was unkown- just another genestealer spreading the infection. My mother was a hive dweller named Victoria Caughran. She was raped on the way back from her shift in the mines. She learned shortly after that she was with child. She was laid off and lived with her older sister, Sarah. Nine months later, Victoria died in labor, but the babe was successfully delivered and healthy. However, Sarah could not and would not raise the child. She left him out in the hive streets to either die of pneumonia, malnutrition, or some other misfortune. And he would have...if not for the strange "mutant" men (genestealers) that picked him up and took him away. The cult would finally have their Magus. Reason to be on this particular planet: See Background Character Motivation:Leonatos (or Magus Caughran as he is regarded by nearly everyone) despises his current existence. He hates the role his life is meant to play: a puppet for some “Great Devourer”. This does not in any way mean that he sympathizes with Humanity-Ooooohh no. He would destroy the entire Imperium and shape his own if he could…but first he must be rid of these genestealers. Or rather, their broodlord. (kinda a betrayal and snatch for power) Character Background: Leonatos is the product in one of The Hive Mind's strategies. It all started 73 Terran years ago Arctus, like the majority of Imperial Hiveworlds, was the very definition of corruption. The Higher class minority leeching off of the Lower class majority. It’s just how the galaxy works. Like many other infestations, the one on Arctus started when a merchant ship carrying trading goods brought an all-more lethal cargo. A small group of genestealers had stowed aboard the ship at a previous port. The Tyranid infiltrators let loose themselves into this new world as soon as the ship touched down. Normally a group of genestealers would work together as a single entity under the leadership of the broodlord. However, these genestealers' broodlord was dead. It had died on the ship due to a mortal wound that it suffered before embarking, and the remaining genestealers devoured its body to make sure their presence would stay unnoticed. So now, each of the genestealers headed off in different directions of one another. They were now the broodlords of themselves. Fast forward 48 years (25 years ago) In the three decades after the brood made planetfall, four cults had arisen. Each in a different Hive City: The True Eye, The Disciples of the Talon, The Successors to Humanity, and The Death Knights. All promised the miserable underhivers and work-slaves better lives if they would join. In Hive City: Thandros, the cult of The True Eye promised secrets and knowledge that would make all who follow superior to even an Inquisitor. In Hive City: Perseus, The Disciples of the Talon taught that mutants were still humans and should not be discriminated, while (in Hive City: Kratos) The Successors to Humanity actually instigated mutants into standing against humans on the idea that they were the next evolutionary step in humanity’s journey, and therefore superior. And in Hive City: Heracles, The Death Knights offered a chance to liberate this world from the corrupted hierarchy and then to do the same for all in the Imperium, one world at a time. These four were the first, but there was one other genestealer. This one traveled far, much farther than the others. Therefore its cult started much later. And after years of growing and expanding, The Children of the New Empire made their debut in Hive City: Theseus with their new Magus, Leonatos Caughran. The cult’s message of a new, brighter Imperium without an Emperor and where everyone had equal rights was quite popular with hivers and quickly picked up steam in the shadows of the lower levels. Present Day Arctus is on the verge of all out civil war. The Planetary Defense Force combats violent attacks by the populace every day, mostly in the underhives of select cities. Cults, that had been previously labeled as nuisances and harmless to society, now head anti-government factions threatening an end to the rule of Planetary Governor Vnezkov. One factor that helps his Governorship, is the fact that the cults are fighting one another as much as the PDF forces. Due to the fact that their original Broodlord was killed, the genestealers divided themselves from one another. And now, those monsters leading each of the cults all follow the instinctual directive set by the Hive Mind: "Take over the planet. Leave no one to contest your leadership". And they intend to follow this order, even if it means they must strike down the other cults. As we focus on Leonatos, he is a prominent figure in these times preaching to the masses and propogating The Children of the New Empire. It is because of him that, out of all the cults, his is the largest and therefore the most dangerous. He is high on the Governor's wanted list and there have been many assassination attempts by hired mercenaries. But the people are very protective of their prophet, rooting out the unfaithful in their ranks, covering his exists after rallies, even shielding him from PDF gunfire with their own bodies. It will take much to bring down Magus Caughran.

Character Name: Gödöttan Player Name: U'Zuhl Faction: World Eaters Specialisations: - Ambidexterous - Daemonic Blessing Equipment: -Antiquated / Artificerized Mark IV armour -Brass Necklace -Hellblade -Chainaxe Traits: -No ranged weaponry at all. Full devotion to the Blood God. -Daemonic: Parts of this World Eater (thanks to Word Bearer shenanigans) are possessed by a Bloodcrusher... Or does he posses it?! -Freed of the Nails: His fellow World Eaters tend not to understand him due to the lack of (functioning) Butchers Nails. He used to have them... Used to... Which makes him prone to feelings and free thought! Date of Birth: somewhere M31... He old... Number of times killed and returned thanks to Khornate shenanigans: 42 Background: Gödöttan clearly remembers the day Angron returned. How the Nails were hammered into his skull. How Angron became the heresy and doom the Imperium feared. How Khârn died at the gates on Terra and lived again. How Khârn took up his flamer and effectively broke two legions single handedly. How Angron took his anger out on Armageddon. How the Grey Knights decapitated and cut his right arm off. How he died. How he faced Khorne. How he returned. And how he found himself amidst a circle of Word Bearers, summoned, daemon and astartes. Not a possessed, no... more ferocious, more precise. A daemon in human guise and a human blessed with daemonic strength. All without needing to rely on the strength of the warp. And how the Word Bearers were keeping him down, not respecting the bonds of 10,000 years ago, when their two Primarchs fought side by side. How they And then the Nails stopped singing, the memories returned. Of Lhorke and how he became the First. Gödött even remembered his early life. Of meadows green, shadowed by the rising Hive miles away. Of his love of a young woman. And how they got married and then torn apart. She to become a Adeptas Sororitas, he to serve the Legion XII. And how he killed her in his rage decades later. How white and blue became red and brass. But he also remembered things of the daemon's mind. The plains of killing. The Brass Citadel. How Skabrand was exiled. How Skulltaker returned from Armageddon. How in ages past peasants would bow to him as he strode by on his Juggernaut... How his Juggernaut was seperated from him by mortals. And that was the moment daemon and World Eater found common ground. Free thought. Free from the Nails. Free from the Warp. And Gödöttan broke free. He broke from and broke the Word Bearers. Every strike of his newfound weapon accompanied by "You should have respected the bonds of eons ago". A naked man/daemon. Perfection. The right arm and head of a daemon, the body, legs and left arm of an astartes. He took back his armour and took a moment to honour the dead, for they returned him. And he walked out the door. And even the possessed took heed. For a Bloodcrusher champion AND an ages old astartes walked amongst them. And they did not raise a finger, for a Hellblade mixed with a chainaxe meant business. But there it came, an unsuspecting cultist, an inquisitor in disguise. Pulled the airlock open and out flew Gödöttan. The vacuum of space gives a man time to think about what he has achived in life and what he aspires to do... Untill a half wrecked World Eater vessel breaks into realspace, warp drive no longer functioning, and collides with you, all the way down onto a planet. Grassy and green. And Death came again. The crushing weight of a World Eater ship. But he returned. Khorne wills it. Only to get shot again by a World Eater plasma pistol. And he returned again. And the process repeated itself a few times, untill a veteran champion halted his men and sat down with Gödöttan. And the veteran introduced himself and Vürsgoth and asked the man/daemon to come along and lay waste to Worlds like the olden days. And the cultists swarmed around him. Some drawing blood and trying to touch the armour of their new found proof of the existence of Khorne. And Gödöttan stood a bit confused how man has changed over the past ten thousand years...
Character Name: Seban Player Name: Akragth Sub-Faction: Ultramarines Specialization: Apothecary Traits: 1. Melee Proficiency; As an Apothecary Seban is often duty bound to charge in to the midst of battle in an attempt to treat a wounded brother. He has extensively trained in the art of melee combat, so that he can dispose of the enemies standing over his fallen brother, before they kill him. 2. Battlefield awareness; thanks, in part, to his diagnostor helm and the upgraded auto-senses that it brings, and to years of charging in to enemy fire in order to treat his fallen brethren, Seban has an acute awareness of the battlefield and of where his brothers are whilst upon the field. 3. Medicae; Seban is capable of treating all but the most grievous of wounds, even out in the field of battle. 4. Know the alien; as a veteran of the Tyrannic Wars of Ultramar, his knowledge of the Tyranid bioform is quite extensive. Flaws: 1. Ranged warfare; though competent with his bolt pistol, he isn't as useful at range as most brothers would be. 2. Lacks leadership; Seban is usually too busy concentrating on the health of his brother marines to give any sort of guidance whilst in the field. 3. Secretive; as an Apothecary seconded to the Deathwatch, he is trusted with many secrets and held accountable for all. He can appear both distant and secretive when around his brother marines, the years of carrying secrets having caused him to become distant. Chapter Trait / Flaw: [Deathwatch Rp] Codex adherence; as a member of the Ultramarines, he holds the codex astartes in the highest of regard. Its teachings not only guide and shape him, but they are the words of his revered primarch passed down from generation to generation, words from one wiser than he. As such he is unwilling to commit to acts which are in clear violation of the codex, unless they are absolutely necessary. Equipment: Power Armour; mostly MKVII, though his diagnostor helm is MKIV. The mainstay of his armour is painted the black of the Deathwatch, his helmet remains the white of an Apothecary, and his right shoulder carries the insignia and colours of the Ultramarines. His right knee is white, and displays his prime helix, surrounded by wings. Diagnostor Helmet Narthecium Reductor Weapons: Chainsword Bolt Pistol Frag and Krak Grenades Mission #X Trait/Flaw: N/A.
(this goes with my character, Leonatos) Character Allies: The cult The Children of the New Empire Allies that are coming along: Leonatos always has retinue of well-armed cultists and a handful of 2nd generation genestealers hiding somewhere nearby. Significant allies include: Sorith- caucasian (fair), long blood-red hair worn down, 5' 9", looks age 23 (really 45), lithe frame, (a beauty according to humans) Kinda like this: https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/...UIU8SSxrMvh5edtvHXSuP06YGTF-88C6BVtZxVQ5Iuwog Sorith is a 4th generation genestealer who's only xenos features are her glowing green eyes (no iris, no pupil) and that her nails grow out like claws (regular human hands otherwise). Sorith's personality can be described as a jester with a craving to kill. She wears a carapace armor (without the helmet) that is painted a dull white. Her favorite weapon is her "lucky" sniper rifle that she takes care of as if it were her child. She is very adept at shooting and she has many types of ammo for different situations. Korey- bronze skin, short but shaggy white hair, 6'4", looks 28 (really 43), muscular frame. Kinda like this: http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/478/032pw.jpg http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs38/f/2008/339/d/9/captain_hans_transforming_by_ZorinBlitzPsycho.jpg http://img-cache.cdn.gaiaonline.com...bums/l196/bellamy-lover-495/capn_hellsing.jpg Korey is a 5th generation genestealer with a multitude of features that are of the Tyranids. His mouth is full of very large teeth that could rip a man's throat out. His feet and legs are those of a beast's- able to run faster than a military transport at full throttle. Korey's personality is much of a counter to the jeerings of Sorith. One could say that he is a more man of action. Korey is Leonatos's eyes and ears in the hive and, if need be, his hidden blade. Korey wears a tattered, black long-coat over more dark clothes. A gray scarf is wrapped around his head, covering his mouth without looking too suspicious. His skin is the best armor that Korey could have (another mutation. about as good as carapace plating). He carries a pair of custom-made silenced bolt pistols in his coat and a large, poison-soaked dagger sheathed on his belt.

For da Ork arpee. Name: Dok Gobfixa Class: Pain boy Clan: Freebootas Gear: Big stabby fing: Stabby bitz: An assortment of sharpened instruments, used if he carries the big stabby fing. Can also be used as medical instruments when he performs surgery. 'Urty Syringe: a syringe carrying an unknown substance. He doesn't even know what it is, but it seems like it kills stuff when he stabs them with it. Traits: If it don't die when you stabz it, stab it some more - he's a capable melee fighter. A career of tearing bits of Ork apart has to come for something, right? 'ere, let me fix that for ya - his rudimentary knowledge of medicine allows him to heal most injuries inflicted in battle, and sometimes he even heals issues which aren't issues yet. Cybork bitz - extensive experimentation with bionics have rendered him only half the Ork he once was, and both his left arm and right leg are all shiny like. Bioniks - he's capable of fitting bionics to other Orks. Sometimes. Gretchinz - he's accompanied by a gretchin, who carries some of his equipment on his behalf and 'helps' him in surgery. Flaws: Gun, wutz dat? - When he fights he fights with stabby and choppy. None of that shooty business. Wut end goes where? - He's prone to make mistakes during more complex procedures, sometimes with fatal consequences, sometimes with hilarious consequences (like that one time he replaced a boyz arm with a spare leg). Wutz dat bit for, den? - His insatiable curiosity for biology, be it of Ork or not, can lead him to distraction whilst in battle. If he sees a pile of guts, he might just need a moment to examine them before killing anything else.
