    OOC:Finally...some progression in this RP!

    Adjusting his noospherical connection with with servitor the group pressed forward into the city, splitting into two,both with clear primary and secondary objectives.

    Seeing the Raven Guard and his fellow merc. disappear into the darkness,Lomax turned to his 'bodyguard'.Abel Murith - how he was named seemed to have seen his share of combat against the enemies of Mankind and it would seem that he was part of 'Tanith First and Only' regiment.That last piece of data he had to double check for validity.

    "Sar Murith, it seems we have alternative objectives and a time stamp to go with it.Let us be on our way!" spoke Magos, his voice drolling the monotonous tone of one who has given parts of himself to Iron and Steel.

    Lomax had no intentions to use Abel as a meatshield, considering he had his uses and his masters would not be happy with such throw-away of resources.Besides...man had one bionic arm...a fact that appealed to Lomax more then anything else.To be honest, not even he knew why.

    Opening a ghostly-golden wireframe infront of himself, noospherical network came online.With his false-reality vision online, traces of data flew under his fingertips, so incredibly delicate and responsive to his every haptic command.Before him floated a small portion of the city as scanned from orbit.With few haptic commands he designated one structure that was no too far from the Imperial Palace yet far enough not to have the same security level.

    With a wave of his hand he removed the digital image and the way before him was clear.
    "Sar Murith...it seems this strand of Mankind is tainted under the xeno influence, that much is clear.With that said...I recommend you be in utmost state of alarm.We don't know how deep this perversion goes.To that end I have designated a point of interest for us before we head to the Imperial Palace.The influx of data suggests it is a building that serves a civic-beaurocratic purpose.A form of Administratum if you will it.It goes without saying that my access to their databanks would be priceless toward this mission`s objective."

  2. "Feels good to stretch your legs, even after a short flight, doesn't it? Now then, what's this?" Baron Veldt exists the Lander and looks at their surroundings, making quick stroll around the craft.

    "Air surely is breathable, and not so shabby either. Have I told you about the time I visited Masshif? Locals had problem with troublesome beast and requested hunters to dispatch it. It was habitable world, μ-class or how do you call it, but afterwards I was told great swamps on north had increased their sulfur emission across the centuries, so slow that locals had come adjusted to it. You can guess how surprised I was to take first breath after landing there. Spend all my mints on that trip, I did." He snaps his mouth, as if to taste the air on here, perhaps a unconscious habit.

    "What shall be our action, then? Self-appointed meeting with local Governor? Study of Archives for interesting historical events? Quick brunch at biggest mansion we encounter?" As Amadeus suggests how they should proceed with the task given to them by the Rogue Trader, he takes out his ivory pipe and starts to stuff it with mixture of dried leaves.
  3. "Time to go to work." Marcus mumbled to himself as he put his bag over his shoulder and hoped out onto the ground and took in the surroundings. The town he saw from the air looked to be inhabited by some pretty strange looking folk but then again he was a mutant so he wasnt one to judge through appearances. Though he did wonder how the hell a tree could walk around then again in his life time he had only really seen pictures of trees in books so what did he really know about them? The noble hunter had gotten off a little earlier and was already stating the obvious while going on with some pointless story which Marcus could not care less about.

    "I'm not above home invasion or massacring the entire town." He said as he looked down his sights to be sure they're properly aligned. There was no form of enthusiasm in his voice at this point the meds were properly flowing through his body and they dulled his mind and all forms of pain to make him feel nothing. He still thought and had his own opinions but most of his emotions were dulled and he just ran on his own deluded logic and morals which in themselves are little to none.

    It had been a long, awkward and rather silent ride down to the planet. Between the tension between her and the Wanderer, and the general hostile attitude between most of the group, there wasn't much friendly chatting going on. So instead of trying to spark a conversation she focused on her meditations, doing her best to quiet the voices and maintain the barriers in her mind. It was an exhaustive process, but one she needed if she hoped to function without having an 'incident' during the mission.

    Finally they had arrived on blessed ground once more, it was quite a strange planet to say the least. Tyesha had seen some interesting things in her travels, but she hadn't seen trees wander about on their own before. She remained silent as the Baron went on about some past exploit of his and began rattling off ideas on how to complete the mission, while Skyruss just settled on immediately killing everyone.

    @TuskatheDaemonKilla @GoreWrencha
    "Well love, before we go about randomly killing whatever we come across, lets see if we can peacefully get what we need. Seeking out a government building wouldn't be a bad idea, although finding some archives could give us a better idea of what we're dealing with."

    @Maleth
    She turned to their Skitarii ally, the only one who had remained silent on the matter. "What say you dearie, any ideas on how to cause some trouble?" A mischievous grin could be seen beneath her hood as she eyed their surroundings.
  5. Marcus ignored Tyesha's comment as well as her existence and undid the safety on his bolter, he didn't plan on going on killing spree he just said he's not above it. They were here to get tech plain and simple which didn't exactly require them to be nice about it. The Skitarii woman should know all about that given the mechanicus' reputation when it comes to the stuff. None the less he didn't really feel like waiting and seeing that Tyesha, the current bane of his existence was occupied with talking to the Skitarii he figured he could pull a Landon and sneak away unnoticed. He wanted to get a better look at the town anyway and being able to do that without fearing a knife being put into his spine would make it all the better.

    As Vex watched Lando vanished ut knew what needed to begin doing. Searching for a target using his disguise of Northwind as a mask for its real intentions. She began moving through crowds looking for its own target a type of low rank enforcers or security this planet would have.

    After walking for about 15 minutes she spotted one looking to be going on break at what looked to be a type of bar a sneaky plan going into vexs mind as she entered but first a pit stop going into the bathroom vex entered a stall and went one of its hidden pockets and began applying a toxic but nonlethal substance to its disguises glove that would only work if ingested would cause the officer to get seriously stick then slower as his body began processing the substance. Putting the substance back into there hidden pocket before exiting seeing that the enforcer was already in the process of getting there food and looked to be staying to eat Vex knew that a handshake would be needed to get its toxin ingested Or possibly through another means a drink.

    Sitting besides the officer at the counter Northwind ordering a shot. "Hello there officer could you help me with directions to the space port and local tavern possibly I need directions to those places for a delivery of a message." North wind said while waiting for its drink..

    Abel sighed as he heard Lomax, he quickly interjected, "One, cut the sur crap. I am not anyone of note, just a simple merc. Two, please just call me Abel. My last name has not mattered for some time now." He then took out a lho-stick and lit it up, taking a long drag before drawing his longlas off his back with his bionic arm, "Palace you say? There maybe some stuff of worth there... I mean from strictly a mission perspective of course. So let us get a move on, as I do not want to be caught with our pants down so to speak."

    Lomax simply nodded to the Guardsman as a general agreement.

    "As you wish...Abel." said Magos with some reluctance.Who knows when was the last time was so close to another human being?
    "The marked objective should be close by.We could find some general information that would be useful..." spoke Lomax as he looked around seeing the alien lifeforms.

    As he and his comrade walked down the wide palaza, Magos experimented as he released periodically low inaudible to human hearing-range sounds on several frequencies.He wanted to see if passers-by would react.

    Abel stayed at the ready for whatever was to come. The trouble with planets like this was that no one had a single clue what to expect. The reports were shallow to say the least, and the intel was worse than the reports. At least he was lucky enough to find himself stuck with the one who loved intel possibly even more than he. "So, Lomax was it? What do you make of this whole, crap shot of a mission? I mean, the shear lack of intelligence is staggering to say the least. Surely this someone as yourself would be as bothered by this as me?"

    Lomax turned his attention back to the man next to him.The delicate sensoria housed in his optical augmentations started whrilling in and out of focus at Abel`s form.Magos was puzzled.What brought on this question?

    After a moment Magos responded:
    "A logical deduction Abel.Tell me...are the men of your calling...how did you denominate yourself - a merc?Yes?Are mercenaries - men of curiosity?"
