"Yeah lets get going I don't want to have to think about the things you've done to that poor lobotomized child any longer than I need to." Marcus said as strangely enough his right 'evil' eye came into focus before his non mutated one. Usually it was the other way around but then again this day was different than most considering he was actually going out to work rather than getting drunk in his room all day. That and the return of the one armed witch was probably having an effect on his mental state as well. Whether is was for better or for worse was up for interpretation but he did feel different in that he actually wanted to do something other than drink and hold together his crumbling mind. Maybe he wanted to kill her maybe he wanted to embrace her maybe something completely different. The pain meds dulled the senses and mind as well as eliminating pain so it will take him some time to interpret his feelings. But at least there was something there.
Asserting all the data they had to contribute to their plan nodded as Raven Guard grinned at him, his eyes expecting an answer. "Very well...I will assume structural control during the operational time of the mission." spoke Magos as he teased his servo-skull with his index finger. The servo-skull buzzed erratically infront of him and blipped his glowing eye socket as if in excitement. As Raven Guard rose from his seat Magos nodded as if approving the sent stream of questions.Tapping gently the wall of the passenger bay he said: "I have procured from Lord Xander an Aquilla Lander for our team during this mission precisely because we bring a lot of supplies and large volume of equipment. To answer your second question...no.We were unable to gleam exact position of any law enforcement buildings in the city...but we have a suspicion that this would serve as an Imperial Palace." spoke Lomax as he manipulated with haptic commands of his left arm the lithocast projection infront of him. The projection flickered a few times as the turbulences of atmospheric entry interfered with energy-output of the drop-ship.From the image of their landing site the image changed location to spire that was decorated to the point of extermis. His optical augmentations rotated slightly at the ridiculous level of sickening, glorifed decadence. Its gothic style of architecture was particularly expressed and exaggerated. An interesting point and Magos wondered if this civilization ever had contact with Imperium or was part of it once. "It is only two kilometers away from the landing zone.I shall established a communication tether when we touchdown and mask our communications while also attempting to siphon theirs. This should give us an encoded vox-channel across whole city using their system without revealing our presence in the orbit. Some low-level data-mining in the streets as you previously mentioned will be useful for a start"spoke Lomax reffering to the Raven Guard. OOC:Ready for landing!
Hearing the Noble's explanation for the expedition out into the wilderness, Theta-Xi replied "Very well, I was just pointing out that it is better to ensure that events have happened that warrant such a expedition having a reasonable chance of success than end up spending two weeks out in the wilderness with nothing to show for it, which the other team can then lord over us like we're all a bunch of fools. At least you're far more reasonable than the other two, which is something." Still, there was the highly augmented child which was quite an interesting thing for the Noble to have (And perhaps, evidence that he does possess connections with the Mechanicum) which lead the Skitarius to comment "And given your possession of such an impressive machine, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was your reward for being a real boon on the Allegae." Course, Marcus's comment about the child being lobotomised was then met by Karinithia saying "Unfortunately for you, that child happens to be closer to the Machine-God than you'll ever be, unless you happen to be in the market for lopping off all your mutated flesh in exchange for bionics?" Still, there was a mission that Xander wanted them do so she then entered the lander and took a seat, ready to head down to the planet.
+ @Vulpas | @matt23 "I concur to your analysis, Magos. It sounds like a solid plan. Vex and I will take care of the infiltration of said 'palace' as we shall designate it for now. Abel and you should make your path through the civilians to the palace, we will get intel of who runs what, so that by the time you two arrive you have enough information to lie your way to an audience. And if that doesn't work, we will cause enough havoc which you will assure them to be the solution to. The usual 'Order & Chaos' infiltration stratagem. Cause chaos, while being the very causality of that, and thus assure them you solve their problems. Of course. That is a mere suggestion." The mag-locked Raven Guard noted as he analyzed the holographic pict before him.
@Vulpas @High_Adept_Zeth Abel sighed as he placed his longlas on his back. "You know the feeling you get when you finally think you are going to get to do something fun, and then it is snatched out of reach? That's what just happened here, but whatever. I shall do as you said and escort this robot to the palace. I'm sure a Magos won't stick out at all here walking through the streets..."
@TuskatheDaemonKilla @Maleth @GoreWrencha Tyesha didn't respond in any way as Skyruss pressed his blade against her throat. She simply raised her eyebrow out him, an amused smirk playing on her face as if to say You don't have the balls. It didn't take him long to sheat his blade and went on to try to ignore her. It was adorable that he thought it would work. But for now there was a mission to plan. While the Skitarii and Trophy Hunter bickered at first, it seemed they reached a consensus. Head into civilization, get all the information they could on valuable tech and then find it. And maybe help the other group. Maybe. "Luckily for you all I can be of invaluable use to you in this." She stated as she pulled out Black Pearl to cradle in her arms, stroking it as she made her way to the ship with the rest of her squad. "I've spent a great deal of my life utilizing the arts of persuasion and manipulation. Perks of being a noble and rebel leader. Just try not to scare off the locals, let me work my irresistible charm, and we'll be swimming in tech." Her glance went to Karinitha and Skyruss, the least "normal" of the group, and likely the most intimidating. While that was useful, she hoped not to frighten and anger the locals right off the bat. As they were heading on the ship, she noticed the child servant that accompanied Veldt, apparently a half augmented one at that. She gave a somewhat cold glare at the Trophy Hunter. It was a rather unpleasant reminder of her home, of the disgusting nobles who used and oppressed their servants in horrific ways. And it made her remember how she failed them. Amazingly she actually found herself agreeing with Skyruss on the matter.
"That indeed is the case. I see you are as observant as I ought you to be. When the Adepts evaluated the local population for relocation to labor force or bioreactors, they pulled one kid from the lines and presented it as a gift from acceptable performance. Of course I was plenty compensated in other ways, but this felt more personal commendation. Who knew they still had organic hearts under all that steel?" Veldt tells as he waits for the lift-off. Meanwhile the servant secures his luggage on the small cargo hold under the seats.
Marcus raised an eye brow at the Tech woman's offer. "It seems tempting but while my mutated bits are painful I also appreciate not having my manhood chopped off and replaced by armored plating." He said dismissing the idea though it did sound tempting but loosing his remaining humanity broke the deal along with his other statement. He then turned to the pompus hunter talking about the child like he was some kind of fancy car. "That's great child humper now how about we get this aquila shaped bucket of bolts moving!" He yelled towards the cockpit making it quiet obvious they should be going now that the other lander had already exited their field of view. He put his helmet back on and put his bolter in his lap and awaited take off.
The Aquila Lander of the less stealthy team found a likely landing site outside a smallish town. It was one of the places they could land without being detected by radar or similar technologies. One of the first things to notice is radical changes of architecture from one building to the next. Another thing was they were not the only bipedal creatures in sight. There was some sort of dog creatures and what looked like walking trees crossing roads and things. This was an unusual planet.
OOC: Free-style time! (GM approved) ~~ Team Not-So-Sneaky ~~ @High_Adept_Zeth & @matt23 After all the preparations from the Aquilla Lander were made and the Magos managed to make a Noosphere connection between himself and the craft, through a Servitor, the group was ready to launch. With Abel at the side of the venerable Techpriest, they had security. Especially given that Las-technology might outdo most armor and perhaps even other weapons on this forsaken world. Who knew, until they had more information? It was pretty straightforward of a plan. The Magos and the Guardsman to retrieve information about the civilization and culture for around 30-60 minutes, and then making their way to what was the next best thing to a government building such as an Imperial Palace. ~~ Team Sneaky ~~ @Uriel1339 | @Vulpas Said Palace just got infiltrated by two of the Imperium's finest kind of infiltrators. Was it not for the Assassin Temples, that is. "Alright Vex. In order for our plan to work we need to get some intel of who runs this place so that the Magos and Abel can lie their way through where they have to... Perhaps try to nab some security codes and IDs or whatever they may have. I in the meanwhile will go for ... Higher risk targets. Once I found who we need I will intimidate him enough to play along as if he was one of our crew." A wicked smile formed under the helmet as Landon looked forward to that very moment, disappearing into the shadows once more. Instead of scaling the building from the inside, he used the inside infrastructure to make his way. Since with all civilizations it was the same. Be it Ork, Tau, Human, Eldar or anything else. The important people were always located towards the top of a building. Once his rather rapid climbing was completed, he stalked for several moments a hallway, judging where the majority of people went to. The office with the most visitors within the last five minutes would have to be the most prominent, or at least needed person. A person which would make a great first step in this plan. And once an office 'won' it's visit by a Raven Guard, he waited for the perfect opportunity of nobody being in the hallway. Quickly his feet carried him from his hideout, across the marbled floor, to the office of whomever this person was going to be. As soon as Landon was in he closed and locked the door and approached the owner of the office, Bolt Pistol drawn and pointed at the persons head. "You will stay quiet. You will not activate an alarm. And you will answer every question I have. Or else. Your brainmatter and blood will be the new paint for your office. Do you understand? If so, the nod."
