"It gives a basic idea, and why do you think I keep an eye on you lot. I only need two hours of sleep a day, the rest I spent making sure none of you acts.... Out of line. As for knowing only that about me. Be glad it is. You would not wish to see my true persona, as little as anyone here wants to see you unleashing your witchcraft. But should you ever decide to grow up. Feel free to see me. Because as I said, I am probably the only one who even understands in the slightest of what you went through with daemon voices in your head. Because if you would have read my file. You would know I was deployed for a time during Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade." The woman played dumb, it was adorable, but perhaps a little bit of information would actually let her realize that he was serious about aiding her. After all, in this semi self-destructive and faking happiness status she was perhaps more of a liability in the long-term rather than facing the darkness of her soul. After all like Tyesha said herself, she had fought everyday of her life against the ruinous powers. Now, she was exposed of slacking and building a relaxed life compared to what haunted her once, and if her powers would return in such frail mind? Landon would not be surprised if a daemon would spawn out of her mortal shell.
Tyesha didn't bothering retorting towards Landon. He sure did enjoy acting as if he was the most terrifying thing since the Dark Gods, but she found it oddly endearing. Amazingly he actually had some concern for her. The old sociopathic softie! He seemed to think that the way she acted was some act, something she did to ignore what was wrong with her. But it was a front that had to be there. If they saw the struggle and battle that raged beneath. Well, it likely wouldn't end well for anyone. @Uriel1339 "D'aw, you want to spend time with little old me? If we don't get killed or eaten down there, we may talk." She had to admit she was curious. Ass he was, Landon was likely the only one who had contact with demons as consistently as she did. Perhaps it could help?
Meanwhile deeper in the ship Marcus arrived at his room. He opened the mechanical door and entered quickly pushing away the small piles of empty alcohol bottles and pain medication vials. Omce the door closed behind him he opened the dresser built into the wall and pulled out several small boxes filled with the vials of the dark liquid. Each one held ten vials with one vial lasting twenty four hours he would need to pack as many of them as possible into his bag incase the mission ran long. There was also the possibility of trading one or two vials with the locals. Assuming someone out there would want something that eliminated all physical pain but in turn dulled the other senses. After picking the appropriate amount of them along with the injector he then went into his clothing drawers and grabbed a few standard outfits, a plaid collard shit with denim pants plus standard under garments would keep him comfortable provided he rotated them every few days and washed them when he's not wearing them. He then grabbed a couple of unopened bottles of cheep rotgut and amasec plus a couple of bags of dried meat and fruits he obtained though drinking contests with some of the lower ranking crew members. With the bear essentials packed away Marcus then paid his attention to the weathered suit of carapace armor seated next to the bunk. It's legs were criss crossed over one another with it's hands on it's knees as if in some form of meditation and almost seemed to be alive. Marcus reached down and grabbed it's archaic looking helmet and brought it up to his face staring into it's cold emotionless gaze. He smirked and put it over his head and it fit like a glove, the next few minutes were spent putting on the rest of it ending with him pulling on the clawed gauntlets that went over his mutated hands making them almost appear normal. After a brief fiddling around to be sure the gauntlets were attached properly Marcus extended his left hand and and a small motion with his wrist making a mono edge dagger pop out from his wrist and after a reversal of the motion it receded back into the gauntlet. Next he checked his right but enstead of a dagger a high caliber pistol made itself known and then receded, everything was in working order. He attached the armor's black cloak to his right shoulder, his sword to his belt, and he grabbed his bolter and slung his duffle bag over his shoulder and he left his room locking the door. 'Can't have people snooping around while I'm gone after all' he thought to himself as he made his way down the corridor towards the hanger where the lander was waiting.
"As I said. I only care for the survival and success of Xander's mission. I do not want you to become a liability." Landon clarified, giving a nod to her, to agree of a potential conversation after the mission. The opinion of the others about him mattered little. Once Xander passes away, he is a free Raven once more and never has to deal with mortals again, not like this anyway.
Still glaring at the Tech-Guard, Magos took her thoughts whole-hearthedly as a naive child would and replied: ++OMNISSIAH BE WITH YOU.FORGET NOT WHOM WE SERVE++ Her testimony of being a Magisterium Tech-Guard worried somewhat the paranoid Magos...not only for his own well-being or some hidden ploy by a far-away Techpriest. But because Magisterium does not send regular Skitarii to do their bidding - making Karinthia a walking mystery to him. There were many questions to ask and he will do so if he gets the chance. Seeing he attracted a glare from a post-human across the hololithic table Lomax shifted his gaze to his dark battle-plate.Raven Guard Chapter looked at odds with their modicum of warfare.Surely it was not easy to move so silently in that power-armor and for a moment Magos wondered if some ancient technology was utilized in making their power-plate more...unique.With additional uses? His optics whirled in and out zooming onto the different segment of Landon`s gene-hanced bulk until one of his optical augmentations reached his pale face.Noting the positioning and micro-movement of his facial muscles, Lomax already started building a working hypothesis. "An honor it would be to serve with you.Any suggestions to an approach vector?"queried Magos his group as he switched back his attention to the hololithic image, manipulating the table with haptic commands to the areas of the planet he deemed interesting. The question served in two-fold ways. First was to draw the group from their pointless chit-chatter before they start resembling moronic ad-hoc mercenary group that is only good as a cannon-fodder. Second was to draw a response from the Raven Guard. He was an Astartes and as such he was mentally conditioned to think in the matters of war first and foremost. His tactical acumen would be priceless in this quest. Lomax did not agree with Lord Xander`s decision to split his already diluted resources and low manpower further into two teams but then it was not his call to make. Then again there was an alterior motive to Magos`s displeasure. He put him and a Skitarius in two different teams which was unwise.Surely...he could utilize Tech-Guard`s abilities better then anyone here.
"I will take command from what it appears. Abel and Vex already are suiting up for deployment. I will want you to stay next to Abel, since he can keep you safe with a pretty good eye for targets. You will stand back unless required, but you are free to take samples and interact with technology as you see fit, I won't intervene. I have worked with Techmarines and I know you do whatever you want anyway. Just make sure to let us know where you are and what you are doing, or at least me. In case you decide to wander off. Success will depend on you since phase one will include mostly gathering information. Which of course includes the two easiest routes. Interrogation, and retrieving data. I am good at the former, you are good at the latter. You do your job, I do mine, everyone wins. As easy as that." Landon merely said, seeing the intensive analysis of him by Zeth. Cog-heads, always wanting to know everything. It's a miracle how the Raven Guard could keep their secret of invisibility away from them. "We will clear other questions and agendas once we touch ground." The Raven Guard announced, nodded to Tyesha (@Keidivh ) and then disappeared into the shadow as always.
Entering its room Vex appeared in the doorway entering then closing the door, turning on the light the room was split into four areas a small workout section with several training dummies and weights, another section looking to be a dressing area that appeared to have various kinds clothing and different type of make up. and then the to last areas being the one to contain his bed a relativity normal looking area only holding a wall scroll from house sano and the gang ut was with and it's work area containing various papers and some of its weapons. "Time to get ready I wonder who should I be this time?" It asked itself as it began humming and looking in its closet for clothing for over its armor "This should do" Vex said taking out some grey robe like cloths that would for over his body glove, "now for some proper make up and a name to her." It said as it began applying make up to its face making itself look a bit more femine before adding some jewelery to its new disguise and some in its pockets for trade. Now heading towards its desk it began taking out some papers and much of there weaponry they would be using for the mission. Clara Northwind perfect." It said finishing its disguise making a new false identity with some made up paper work, taking out a drawer in its desk she took out a small bag of thrones and was almoat ready for her adventure. Going over to its bed it took out its spear and Body glove putting thsyt on then her robes then putting her spear to her back and attaching it to a belt, the concealing most of its weapons in concealable pockets and pouchs and Placing her papers and money and extra cloths and make up in her bag and attaching Vex's camo cloak to her back. "Clara Northwind ready for adventure from my home world of Vespia." Vex said now ready with all of its equipment and all of her things as it began to exit and lock its room now heading towards the lander. Spotting Marcus a mischievous smile appeared on the giurls face. "Hello Mr. Marcus, I must say that is quite a strange armor you have where did you get it?" Vex asked now getting into his disguise.
Marcus rolled his eyes under his helmet at the sight of what appeared to be a feminine version of Vex. "I had a disenfranchised tech priest make it for me when I was a crime lord back on Taranis. Tyesha could probably tell you more and make me sound like a groxhumper at the same time." He said never looking directly at the woman? man?.... thing. Why must he always get stuck with a group of mad men and just plain strange people? "So what's the name of this one?" He asked refering to the new disguise and persona Vex is playing.
Once Abel had finished his packing, he would place his cameleoline cloak over his left shoulder. He would then grab his assault pack with a few supplies in, over his right shoulder. Lastly he would pick up his longlas and place it across his shoulders before leaving the room. After the door closed behind him, he would take out a lho-stick and light it up with his bionic hand to take the edge off, "Here we go again. You got this Abel, point and shoot. That easy." He then made his way the the hanger where he would standby for their transportation to the surface below.
@matt23 | @Vulpas Out of the shadows, emerged Landon. Gear not changed except there was a demolition pack on his waist. He entered the vessel right after Abel and took seat in the lander. "The Magos will join us." The Raven Guard noted towards Vex and Abel. He leaned back and just waited for the mission to begin, inspecting his lightning claws while he did so.
