  1. "Ah, Magos Lomax! Omnissiah blessings to you, ol' chap." Amadeus Veldt greets the Adept. He has spend long years with members of Adeptus Mechanicus on exploration travels, so his attitude towards them is warm, perhaps too friendly from Lomax view. While Veldt seems to have pleasant experiments, it is prejudicial to assume every Adept has same personality. Explorer Magoses have always been bit unique among the Cult Mechanicus.

    Abel took a seat and lit another lho-stick. He began to laugh at all the bickering that was taking place, that forced Landon to intervene (@Uriel1339 ). "Come on Landon, let the kids fight. It should be healthy for them to thrash about and cry...That and it will be entertaining to say the least," he laughed slightly as he took another drag from his lho-stick.

    Seeing that several more of the crew had arrived, Theta-Xi at first remained immoblie, despite the logical point by Vex that a table was a better surface to be performing the maintenance work upon as she decided not to notice that comment, then along with even more bickering from both Mutant and Psyker, came a Noble who's interests seemed to be focused on hunting.

    While Karinitha would have instead settled back into her routine, the arrival of the Magos Errant prompted her to be a bit more professional in appearance, gently placing her pair of pistols back into their holsters while she placed herself more prominently near the Magos, a habit from her old body-guarding duties.

    Given that everyone else seemed to be here, she then weight in on the Guardsman's desire to see the Mutant and Psyker fight (@matt23 ) "Abel, I don't think that would be a wise idea. Especially given the fact one of them is a Psyker, and so stands a good chance of accidently reducing everyone not engaged in such childish actions into giblets should she decide to engage in... How would most Imperials call the use of psychic powers? 'Witchcraft'?"

    Realising that she hadn't actually done her introduction, the Skitarii then said "While my designation is Theta-Xi 258, you may call me Karinitha, for it tends to be easier to say than reciting a designation every single time in the space of a single conversation." With that said, she remained where she was and assumed a neutral stance, trying to avoid further aggravating the somewhat tense atmosphere created by Skyruss and Tyesha.

    Xander coughs once to get everyone's attention, meanwhile the dagger wire thing just disappears to even an augmented persons view. " So as you all know we have permission from some of the Ommnissah's priests to search for technology as long as they get first crack at working with it. Well the planet below is one such place that they asked us to look. Little is known about the planet except that the inhabitants do have technology similar to vox and detection equipment. I want you all to prep yourselfs as you will and find me samples of their technology and any templates you can find. Use any methods in you perfer. I don't care. Questions?"
  5. "Should we expect any 'welcoming' parties when we touch ground?" Marcus said still looking at the holo display. This ship wasn't the biggest thing the imperium can make but he assumed even with limited vox technology they could probably just see them with a primitive telescope. Emperor knows how the natives will react to something man made appearing out of nowhere over their planet and if they had any governments put in place they're probably panicking.

    "Oh and how long are we expected to be down there? I need to know how many vials of those pain meds I need to take." If Xander didn't know Marcus would just grab as many as he can fit into his duffel bag. After all can't have him shutting down in the middle of the mission because he ran out and Emperor knows how he gets when he goes without them for too long.

    "I have a question, will we be the first down there? Are we allowed to bring anything with us to trade and what are we to do if we to find any xenos or xeno like technology down on the planet are we to recover that as well and bring it here or leave or destroy it on sight?" Vex asked getting all the questions he had at once, he only let out a chuckle at Marcus rude gesture and quited down after Landis request.

    "One. Do we have to operate in strike-teams or do we just deploy individually and do as we please? Either case, I petition for Tyesha and Marcus to be separated for the sake of the success of this mission and not cause friendly fire the moment we leave this vessel." Landon cracked his neck, getting bored of mere words - needing action.

    Abel stood up and spoke, after taking one last drag, "I second that request, but not merely for the sake of the mission. Indecision and bickering are likely to get someone killed, and I'd preferably not like to die because two kids can't play nicely together. That is unless they can cut their bullshit out and focus on something other than each other, which given the current situation seems doubtful."

    Tyesha didn't bother retaliating with words. Rather she gave just a simple innocent smile towards Skyruss, like she didn't even know what he was talking about. It really was fun torturing him. Of course Landon was quite buzz kill, and seemed to have an intent interest in her actions. She gave the Astartes a cold and empty stare for a few moments, her eyes seeming to be as hollow as his own. There are some things even you should fear pale one. This was quickly replaced by a bright smile as she hopped up and patted Raven Guard on the chest, as she was far to short to pat his cheek.

    "Ah, dear Landon, we're just two old friends catching up! Isn't that right love?" She shot a playful look towards Skyruss. Then the others began to pipe up, seeming to be interested in the fight. Surprisingly it was only the Skitarii that recognized how badly things could go if she chose to cause trouble. Powers or not, she wasn't someone to underestimate.

    @Maleth
    "Ah, dear Theta. You and I seem to be the only rational people here, always the women isn't it? If you are still a woman. Never really know with you cog-heads. Either way I'm not going to be fighting anyone unless told to by Xander. I am a professional after all."

    Thankfully the whole conversation seemed to end the Magos fellow entered the room and the Trader began filling them in on the details of the mission. And Landon and Abel talking as if she was beneath them.

    @TechCaptain @matt23 @Uriel1339
    "And is professional insinuating you'll skewer me with your pretty claws? Or egging on a fight that isn't happening? That's all you two have been doing. Truly unprofessional gentlemen. And in front of our employer! A true disgrace." Tyesha wagged a finger at the two as she tsked them.

    "Now moving on to the job at hand, are we to make contact with these creatures? Or are we to be discreet?" She asked towards Xander, acting with all the grace and poise of a noble dignitary.
  10. "Will we be moving on the water or the land? Most of the surface seems to be covered in oceans, or well, in large bodies of liquid matter. That reminds me of one time on Murgestel II where we discovered a lake of pudding. What we had assumed to be water, was in fact very vicious liquid. Serfs could even walk on it if they were careful. What a strange worlds there is, I say." Amadeus Veldt asks, then drifts off the topic.
