- Dyson Dyson had spent most of the battle hitting mutants as they entered a chokepoint, holding up near the Head Nurse's office. Didn't even know what hit them, Dyson was quite bored by this point. 'With this many genetic dead ends aboard one might think we housed a genestealer cult. Damn things multiplied faster than loyalist successor chapters. I swear, every time I return to reality there's only more of them... Note to self, investigate recent geneseed cultures when applicable.' As Dyson thought this, a new wave of mutants swarmed in. Four armed humanoids and unfleshed hulkoids, about time. Dyson rose from his medical bed seat, stun-mawl held lazily in his bionic right hand. Flexing his left ceramite encased one. "These one's seem more concerned by the previous dregs haven't brought them their tribute of fetched dope. Let's teach them who rules here and why their obedience isn't optional... roughly not mortally."
Hydratus peaked through the maintenance slit in the tube running through the ceiling. Walking with loud steps, five new mutants entered the room. The lights in the room were all shut off, but his enhanced gene senses helped him see the massive, bulky form of the new arrival. Finally, finally .... worthy opponents. The new arrivals would require a little more finesse to defeat, at least when compared to their predecessors. While watching the beasts walking through the room with little subtelty, he started to devise a plan to defeat them. The mutants possed impressive raw strenght, so he would have to knock them out quickly, before the could gang up on him and bring their raw strenght to bear. He would need to knock out roughly half of them before the real fight even begun, to even the odds. Quickly he thought about how best to achieve this, but with a flash of illumination he finally had an idea. Silently but steadily, he used his lightning claw to cut across the very tube he was hiding it. After fifteen seconds he had cut out a part of the tube, 5 meters in lenght, 1 meter wide. Only a small stud connected the part of the tube to the ceilling, waiting to be cut by Hydratus, when the enemy was right underneath him. The mutants roared as they walked through the room, their brute strenght made them confident and they were absolutely careless. Suddenly, with a loud bang, a long piece of metal had fallen from the ceilling, knocking out two of the brutes. The three who were left were enraged, they clawed wildly into the darkness, searching for their attacker. Finally they found their assailant, as a dark figure revealed itself. Hydratus spat on their unconcious comrade, enraging the enemy even more. As they saw this, the mutans lost all sense of logic and one started to run at him and wound up ist claw for a powerfull strike. Hydratus walked a few steps backwards and just a milisecond before the claw came close to hitting him, he dodged the attack and the claw instead struck the wall and even better it got stuck in it. Hydratus wasted no time and as the ebast was defenseless, it was struck down by a precisely administered hit. The last two beasts seemed to have learned a lesson from those who came before them and they slowly walked towards him, intend on striking him from two sides. Slowly and steadily they advanced to the corner they presumed Hydratus to be in but to their surprise the corner was totally empty and their foe was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly both reeled in pain as a coolant pipe, situated in the wall next to the mutans ruptured and both of the hulking brutes tumbled backwards, temporarily blinded by the acidic liquid. However this small timeframe was all he needed and both were with by his power maul and subsequently dropped to the ground. Hydratus smiled as he watched over his unconcious victims with a satisfied expression, for he had finally found somewhat of a challenge. He wondered if this was the final assault of the mutans or if more was to come.
-Seth Seth could see several mutant's coming from above as they crawling on the ceiling. they hissed at him as they jumped at the apothecary. Seth fired his tazer at at one of the mutants as it came jumping at him taking him down as the other mutant jumped right onto Seths pauldron and began attacking his face another also jumped at him trying to grab his tazer. "I don't Suggest you do that!" Alex said as she hit one back with a shock maul freeing one of her friends arms. Seth quickly hit his shock maul into one of the mutants limb causing it to roar in pain as it fell from him One of his hands wen't to the mutant as he threw it outside the barricade. As he got ready for more as they came. "Sorcerers! I have a idea a way to slow the mutants down! Can you all cast a spell to slow these mutants down or possibly hold them where they stand all together Or possibly a spell that can Knock them out!?" he yelled asking over the vox of the two fire teams and with those in proximity. -Alexandra Nox Alexandra whacked a mutant off of Seth with a shock maul she had grabbed from its case she got a good hit in the thigh region causing it to fall onto the barricade she quickly pushed them off letting them land on the other side adding to the barricade. She quickly heard Seth's request for the other sorcerers She grabbed her book from under her robes and opened the tome. She began fingering through the pages looking for such a spell. She found several spells that might work Chains of the damned, and Curse of fatigue, She looked to the two and had A idea she could possibly tire some of the mutants with the curse of fatigue tiring some of them and possibly at its best make some fall unconscious or she could used chains of the damned to only temporary stop them. She decided her curse of fatigue as she looked around she looked to there cultist ritualistic and there other sorcerer "Fellow sorcerers I have a curse that maybe be able to cause some of the mutants to tire if we can use it we can possibly make this easier and possibly finish this objective faster she said to them suggesting this spell. OOC hey urian If I can get the others to do this spell with my character can this tire lot of the mutants or possibly cause some to fall unconscious or would it effect everyone in medbay or would this only get a large group?
OOC: of course. Also I will progress further tomorrow since I am busy today. But you guys can keep slamming Mutants.
Ogreten's ritual was begining to pick up the glowing eldar hearts began to cricle him and expand in their size. His chanting was picking up in the warp tounge but itd be a while until the ritual to reverse the muations completed
Inferno A singular hand sign made Minotaur shed his cloak and raise his mauls. Sparks leapt from the large weighed heads and his eyes, as empty as those of her mistress but without the obvious sparks of tenebrous malice inside them, scanned left to right systematically. His mistress, at the same time, strained her senses to their maximum, both natural and otherwise, filtering out the mechanicus-focussed data she was recieving. Nobody cared about her familiar's electric output at the moment. Regardless, when a Slaaneshi called, sensations came. The smell of burnt prometheum, of lubricants, of sacred and profane oil used, of grease on skin, sweat, dead dermic particles, metal, blood, blood, the taste of iron in the air, iron on her tongue, fire, a faint note of burnt flesh, the sensation of not sensing on the scalded flesh in her mouth, slightly sourish chemicals, bitter poison and other residues she'd tasted, lingering in memory if not in molecular physical presence, physical, vibrations around her, the invisible hairs on exposed skin, caressed by passing air, not caressed by stale air, heat, warming up, pearls of sweat on her own skin, rolling down, chaotic patterns. The eyes are weak, the strongest sensory nerves are nociceptors, all who say seeing is best are fools, all who say pain should be suppressed are blind. Walking slowly onward, eyelids half shut, she repeated her mental mantra of nociception before perception, focussing on all except sight to locate the beast.
OOC: And my axe! "I can help, one moment.", Redeger let his own psychic force go, joining that of the sorceress'. With his help it hopefully wouldn't take that much time, as the mutants seemed to redouble their efforts to get past them.
-Alexandra Nox Alexandra Began the Spell Curse of fatigue As Redeger's Psychic Energy joined her she began saying the spell incantation from her book. As she said the words she her staff was in her hands helping her channel the energy throughout the area and onto the mutants Her eyes glowed a bluish orange as she spoke her words. While her blue phoenix book stayed in her hand. She channeled the energy into the spell While Seth seemed to be waiting for her to finish it. -Seth Seth stood in front of Alexandra protecting her as she began her spell with a shock maul and tazer in hand as several mutants tried to jump at her. His shock maul and tazer fired at the mutants taking them down before they got to her or the storage room. "Going to have finish thing soon." he said as she wen't hoping to end this soon.
