Ogreten now finished and covered from the shoulders down in eldar blood happily stood up " wow this bio-mancy sure does work !! I need to learn how to do more of this kind of stuff !" He looked around noticing the disappearing khornate and decided to follow after him but before leaving he gave the explanation of " always stay with your tank!" Before hurrying after yriel and the khornate
Hydratus smiled as the next group of foolish mutants entered the room, all was transpiring as he preticted it would. Ugly as they were, half horse half man they strode through the room, heading for the unconcious bodies of those who had come before them. They made horrifying howling sounds, apparently communicating with each other, maybe trying to find out what had befallen their knocked-out kin. Suddenly, a metal box fell from a hole in the ceilling, hitting a mutants head with a loud bang, knocking him out. The other 4 panicked, striding arround the room in panic, trying to discern where the attack had come from. Seconds later a much heavier object fell from the ceilling, one which bared resemblance to a shadowy astartes. A second mutant dropped, having been precisely hit by a swing of the shock maul. However the other three horsemen now saw him and one charged him with terrifying speed, but just in time, Hydratus sidestepped and the creature charged right past him, into a wall. The last two horse-mutants readied up for an attack, but it wasn't to be. In an suprisingly fast attack, Hydratus lunged forward and knocked them out too.
Rorschach did not acknowledge any of the others after making himself known. He knew what the mission instilled and the prize that was to be had. With no wing, he traveled alone and kept to himself. While another Night Lord was in their ranks now and from the smell of him, he was not a new born Astarte. One of the finest during the Great Crusade. Yet, he traveled a different path then the Raptor. One that had more important goals then the hunt. Nothing was more important than the hunt. The Raptor moved forward, using small leaps to cover ground quickly and scanning small portions before leaping again. As explained to the others, this one was nothing special. If you cut it, it bled. If it bleeds we can kill it.
Fireteam Inferno: Primary Objective: Kill an Astartes Secondary Objective: Record the murder Satharn Tem - Night Lords Astartes (@Jorimel ) Atax Echidna - Dark Mechanicus Slaaneshi (@Casavay ) Krax Brutalus - Black Legion Undivided Astartes (@Colapse ) Rorschach - Night Lords Astartes (@Xaphen ) "And so... The hunter becomes prey." Echoed throughout the halls as the vanguard named Rorschach went perhaps a bit too fast, too deep into the deck. "But you are just a little Night Lord... No.... You are not worthy... You will be just one of the slaughtered ones, but not the true price..." The voice announced, it's origin yet to be learned... But it was evident that the Black Dragon was no foe of stupidity. OOC: Will progress the other stuff 'officially' tomorrow. but @Vulpas & @DeranVendar may use the portal if you wish to.
Not wishing to be left alone with a bunch of meat and soon servitors, Redeger hurried after the others. He tried to dive through the portal before it closed...
-Alexandra Nox As several others wen't through the portal in front of Seth she wen't also Basically throwing a bit of caution to the wind she threw herself through the portal and commanding patches to follow. She soon found herself in front of Seth himself wielding a shock maul and a odd weapon She could see several mutants laying in front of a barricade and seth standing infront of the Storage room doorway. "Hallo comrades Get over the barricade if you wan't some cover." she heard Seth yell as she turned to see several mutants coming down the hall. She quickly dove over ducking on the other side. then pulling patches over and having there servant stand in a safe spot. -Seth As Seth saw the others coming through the portal he invited them over his barricade seeing that there were psykers they could be quite good when placed in cover. "Hallo Comrades Come over my barricade if you Wan't some cover." he said as he looked over to Fire team Oni as they came through. "Fire team Oni Whatever you do do Not Kill the mutants Only stun them or knock them out they are still part of the crew." Seth yelled as another few came through. Seth Could see now Alexandra and patches getting over the barricades and patches being pulled over and put in a safe place
Fireteam Oni: Primary Objective: Find and Kill all Eldar (Deck 45) Secondary Objective: Collect Eldar meat and prepare it for the exotic animals Aldian Tacet - Tzeentchian Telepathica Scholar (@SorcererAlhendors ) Alexandra Nox - Chaos Sorceress (@Vulpas ) Argyle Voncarr - Khornate Astartes (@DeranVendar ) Orgeten - Tzeentchian Cultist Ritualist (@bossaroo ) Othim - Salamanders Traitor & Khornate (@Valonox ) Redeger uq Hashet - Corrupted Astropath (@Loldoom ) <Yriel> "Soooo anyone else fancying to go help against Mutants? Keep in mind not to kill them, no matter how disgusting they are, they are still Zadkiels crew!" She chirped, keeping the portal open. "For those interested in a hunt, I will be going to assist Zadkiel, after this delivery." Yriel announced as Servitors already started to arrive... Fireteam Draco: Primary Objective: Secure the Med-Bay (Deck 2) Secondary Objective: Get a letter of recommendation from the Head Nurse Cryzarion the Phoenix - Thousand Son Sorcerer (@lord-watchman ) Dyson Oni - Aspiring Iron Warriors Warpsmith (@DaKaptin ) Grythan Konenos - Undivided Emperor's Children Raptor (@Nurianis ) Hydratus - Undivided Alpha Legionnaire (@DeathKorpsOfKrieg ) Seth - Chaos Apothecary (@Vulpas ) It seemed the onslaught is over as the roughly 300 Mutants are now all somewhere on the Med-Bay. Around 80 of them were disabled so far. The reinforcements from Deck 45 popped out right next to Seth, in front of the supply room. Though the latest Mutants just had been disabled they now managed to remove the water and return to a direct onslaught. They were 20 mixed mutants, though they seemed most human so far, save for their additional pair of arms growing out of their back. On Hydratus position the horsemen were going to be avenged by even more dreadful beasts.... They lacked all skin whatsoever. People of flesh and bones, but they were quite massive, almost as bulky as Astartes. They were five in total and probably were the first to actually be a challenge to the Alpha Legionnaire. OOC: There where I was not specific, call out to me or make your own stuff up, still plenty to strike down!
Ogreten jumped through the portal he jumped behind the barcade and took out his chalk and drew a circle with several points. The eldar hearts he had gathered he placed all nine he had collected into the circle. " protect me whilst i charge this ritual. Lets hope this works " pgreten rose up floating chanting the eldar hearts glowing around him lending some of the reisdual pyskic energy alwoing him to power up the tzentchian ritual to reverse the mutations or at least incapacitate. Ooc: this ritual is going to take a while
Argyle snorted with some disdain at the idea of only knocking these warp cursed freaks out but alas would comply as he took up two shock mauls, giving them a twirl in each hand before setting his grip just a few inches short of the actual weapon heads themselves. As the Astartes sized flesh brutes began lumbering toward the fight he grinned viciously, a worthier challenge than the Eldar of that he was certain. Setting forward to meet them head on the somewhat noble warrior fell into the fight with a savagery as of yet unseen, claiming opening blows with all the readiness of a predator falling upon a helpless cub. A shock maul rammed into an open maw, driving the figure back a step effectively blunting its charge and tangling up the two behind it long enough for a pair of violently electrifying jabs to wind the first before it was piled onto the ground with a knee in its stomach and both mauls pressing in against its kidneys until a combination of utter agony and shock had it out cold. In return a meaty fist took hold of his pauldron, a fist sending him flying back down the hall an instant later. Slamming down on his elbows Aryle skidded to a halt, tabard fluttering in the unnatural breeze formed by his descent. Striking his heels upon the floor the Astartes levered himself to full height, readying both weapons in a much more level headed stance. Such was the way Argyle opted to fight, opportunity seized with ruthless violence, in this case knocking a foe out in a frenzied series of opening strikes in exchange for taking a blow he was confident enough in surviving; but when equal footing was had amongst both sides he would fight smarter and all the harder. No insane berzerker or rabid hound, no cowardly assassin or wiry blade dancer, he was both cunning and powerful; Argyle was the wolf. Meeting one of the mutants head on they exchanged a series of blows with a forceful swing at his head ducked and the offending arm struck by a shock maul, the effects barely noticeable to the flesh hulks with such a low dosage of electricity. A naked foot slammed into his leg knocking it out from beneath him yet the warrior only leaned into the fall bracing his shoulder against a wall while regaining his footing to tackle the mutant before his toes had touched the ground again, reversing roles of aggressor and defender he used the freak's chest as a launch pad to throw himself into the third preparing to move in. A fully armored Astartes wasn't exactly easy to hold up even for an over-muscled flesh hulk, even harder when that same being had rammed a pair of shock mauls into your chest and groin. A second hulk had been grounded and knocked out when Argyle and his previous engagement had regained their footing. Once more blows were traded, a shock maul cracking apart as it was used to parry a solid bone knuckle punch while the other was repeatedly jabbed into a number of different masses of muscle sending spasms of agony coursing through its form. Several blows thundered against his already damaged chest plate forming expanding veins of cracks in the ceramite yet Argyle saw it another fair trade off as the blunted head of the maul met nose, crunching as the bone shattered while several expanding tendrils of electricity sparked over the brute's body driving it to a knee. It too would go down as the servant of Khorne threw plated knee into exposed jaw, the mutant's now limp form sagging back over its own legs.
[OOC I am semi-returned but on limited keyboard time, I may not get to catch up and post today but hopefully tomorrow? Back in sunny Chester on Monday evening.]
