Rites of Fire is ridiculous

    I usually don't. But I swear when I clang I get set on fire anyway!

    Can I blame lag/animations like everyone else?

    Yes, Orkz have a bastardization of it as well.

    Even less noticeable is lifesteal mods. They are also buggy, often giving you full HP back on dbash and melee-ing downed people. However, I noticed that it seems to work correctly against Eldar. You may not witness their power but if you ever wonder why some people just don't die or go down, this is the culprit.



    Regarding Rite of Fire, dots, and ailments in general? They all need a strong look at and shouldn't be applying on dbash. You aren't even using your weapon. RPS system in general needs fixed as a lot of people are ignoring it like chain weapons, swords, warlocks, and JPAs.


    Edit: Perhaps they should change the dot on these weapons. Maybe make them less nuke and more of a DoT and prevent healing or stamina regen.

    I think the ork version is even worse! Not that I like the space marine version but at least in this case I know how to avoid (its just one class of one of the factions). I just stay the hell away from the OP wolf priests. The Ork one I have no idea how to avoid, it seems everyone is using one burny choopa (if thats the name)!.

  5. Last time I checked it was a Power Maul. Power Mauls are not known for their sword like speed either :p

    I'm talking straight up weapon through weapon animation matchup still not clanging.

    Fine...I'll admit there might be a issue with that, but I think its due to the weapon elemental effect rather then the animation per se, still haven't been in the reciving end of it but I'm pretty sure my attacks always clanged, alternativly coulnd't this be related to peneatration ? Idk how this stat works yet but I'm assuming its the ammount of damage you deal to break the opponents weapon duration ? If I recall correctly its pretty easy to break weapons with RoF.

    Speaking of OP. Last night a guy with a mace, think it was a Chaos flyboy, was just wrecking us. I watched him drop three orks in three swings. I am not poorly equiped. So that damn mace is pretty bad azz. My electro ax never drops a guy in a single hit even from behind.
  8. If it wasn't mentioned, this thing also hurts chaos a lot.
    1 hit, and what wasn't allready taken by the hit itself get's burned away.

    Something that can kill with 1 fast attack is obvious cheese. Hope this get's fixed in the next patch

    AS an LSM JPA main yes i agree its stupid that its better than my power fist or 480 special power axe at killing people ... its a dumb weapon just like the HM and it needs to get the nerf hammer.
