50 XP per suppressed target killed is nothing to sneeze at. I WILL give it another try when I play later.
I don't think that people are building balance around the idea of "Oh, my TTK on that guy included 10 seconds to run behind and flank him". If it takes the apoth 2 seconds to rez a guy to full health with an HoT, then that's what you count as the time.
So I've noticed on numerous occasions if me and the wolf priest strong attack at the same time, there is no clang, yet I take full damage in the face, leaving me with a sliver of my health and of course the dot which is enough to finish the job.
The fact that Burny Choppa can be equipped by jump units alone makes it much better then RoF which is limited to 1 class and only via one specific subfaction. Again I advocate none of these weapons as I think they are all obscene but Burny Choppa is infinitely more useful simply because it can be attached to a dedicated melee class with extreme mobility. Though that is just my opinion. If I had a chainsword that could do the same affect I'd pick it 100% of the time over any other weapon on my JPA. Regardless the problem I continue to see here is that all these lootbox super weapons are so vastly superior to anything else they compete against they are absolute no brainer autopicks once they've been unlocked. That alone suggest they're way too good, there is no reason for people to be running anything else, and the fact that eventually everyone will have them as their are a predetermined set of boxes per box tier means within a month or two unless changed they're all we'll see. It's already happening every wolf priest that has RoF unlocked runs it, every Havoc using an autocannon build with abadonn's is using it, every SW with HM is using it. Whatever happened to all the extra weapons/items being sidegrades? I thought 100% direct upgrade options were something the devs were trying to avoid after all.
Or, they are complete and total trash picks that no-one in their right mind would use, like the Shuriken Catapult one. One or two are ok, actually. Lashsword is useful and a nice alternative for a Scorpion, but functionally no different to what Painboyz come with stock.
That is a really really cool mini and really well made/painted. However I'm glad it's not cannon and I hope it never becomes cannon.
It can't be canon, the head of the thunder hammer isn't in the shape of a wolf. This is GW we're talking about.
really dude... wtf? Do you even read? You keep bringing up stuff that doesn't even relate to anything here... first of you said yourself it takes 3 seconds to rezz someone, now it's down to 2 seconds... I'm sure it takes you 1 second in your next post... And what should I make of this TTK example of yours? How is it even related? We were talking about the time it takes to rezz someone in real situations, because your were stating that the Apo is a strong support class... But I get it... either you are trolling me or you just throwing in things for the sake of argument without them being related in anyway...
You're "sure it takes me 2 seconds"? You realize we're talking about the class and not individuals right? You're getting yourself worked up over really trivial things. I gave an example of balancing something based on TTK with your reasoning of "the actual time required to do something involves all the time involved in maneuvering and the other person maneuvering" rather than the actual time of the action. I'm sure if you need to declare someone who doesn't agree with you a troll, then that's just as far as you can reach. The apothecary is a very strong class, good support and good melee and enough ranged to be a threat. If you can calm yourself down, you'd be able to look at it more objectively.
