Rites of Fire is ridiculous

Yes, because loyalists never use that tactic, especially not PG, a zerg guild...
Just joking, your allies use it 24/7, attempting to zerg point-by-point. I rarely see loyalist JPA's winning a melee 1v1, I've even seen them lose to havocs.
See how easy unsourced claims are?

I killed an orks slugga elite in melee with my tactical yesterday.

Since WHEN can Apothecaries/Wolf Priests heal from range? Oh, sure, the beacon. Which heals slower than any other method. So yes, you WANT them to stand still (or miss the heal) in one place in the middle of melee combat while they heal to give you a better target. I get it.

Painboys have a lesser problem because they are not QUITE as fragile and have that nasty poison AOE.

Sorcerer and Warlock don't NEED to stand still, so they LOVE the fact that LSM DO because it gives them cheap kills.

    Makes perfect sense to me.

Rite of Fire may be powerful, but if the Wolf Priest stops to heal AT ALL, he is dead. Not to mention, he has to be IN melee range and you DO have a chance to fight back. He is not hitting you from halfway across the map like half the Chaos forces at the moment.

  4. Faster than the Boon of Change, faster than the Hysterical Frenzy. You throw it once and forgett about it, and you can throw it from a safe range.
I know my support game, and i would kill for such a grenade on my chaos Sorcerer :p

Oh, and you can also contribute to the fight, while that thing does the healing for you

I'm actually so genuinely curious as to why there seems to be so much more attention drawn to RoF which yes is OP as fuck, but Orks, CSM and Eldar bitch about it like they don't get weapons that are just as talentless and ridiculously OP. Burny Choppa, Abadonn's Grace, Hunter's Mark, there's a few others I know but haven't seen as many of them running around.....yet. #lootboxloto

Not trying to defend RoF one bit but these god tier fun destroying weapons are on every faction, and there are more of them every day as it is literally only a matter of time/luck until people get them out of their corresponding loot box. ALL THESE WEAPONS NEED TO BE ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED FROM THEIR CURRENT STATES!
Every single one of these super weapons invalidates all other loadout options because of their insanely broken effects.

Ah, yes, the beacon is nice. For the 1(!) hit that it will heal while you get smeared by the 6 guys with Abbadon's Grace who you have NO chance to reach or evade. No exaggeration, I saw 6 of them in my last game. Not OP or broken at all, that weapon.

Yes, Rites of Fire is powerful, no question. But against IT? You have a chance. Even in melee, I HAVE been beaten by others while playing my Wolf Priest. Sometimes swarms, sometimes solo. Some are just better at melee than I am or I have lag or whatever. No biggie.

That doesn't change the fact that Apothecaries/Wolf Priests have to stop to use their most powerful heals and THAT is death in this game. Which is what others want. They WANT cheap kills on healers. They cannot get them as easily on Warlocks/Sorcerers/Painboys, but every time they see an Apothecary/Wolf Priest start to heal, they go 'OOOO! FREE XP!'

So yes, when they attack me while healing and I slam them in the face with Rites of Fire, I laugh.

I know that you once again didn't read my whole post and those previous to it and you won't do it in the future... I said that... If you can read, you will see it.
Besides applying the heal to a friendly and them being back up takes more than 3 seconds... animation and stuff. And regarding your estimated 3 seconds: That is the ideal time... the "everything-worked-just-fine" kind of situation... as I explained in a previous post...
And I didn't even imply that their are just a few Apos around... thing is when you see alot of Apos running around, it is a good indicator that there is no real teamplay going on... apart from the "chainrezzing" for points... but that's also a thing with the sorcerers spam...

1)It's a melee weapon, so it gets shoved in your face every time you get killed by it, and even when you don't get killed by the user, you saw him contributing, so it's easy to blame it for every death.
    2) It's a flaming mace brandished by a skull faced guy, pretty easy to identify it, while other (arguably more) overpowered weapon such as the Armless Disgrace are easier to miss among all the visual noise.
    3) It's a LSM weapon, so you face it a lot more than the other dot weapons, simply because you fight vs LSM more than half the matches
    4) It's a LSM weapon, people are not used to be chainraped by LSM and thus get more salty.

^This pretty much in a nutshell.

LSM EXIST for others to beat into bloody pulp to show their superiority and make comments in character about how good they are and how much the LSM players suck.

The DOT weapons are too OP at the moment. We can all mostly agree with this. But Rites of Fire, you have to get CLOSE. The Wolf Priest is not invincible. He can run into overwhelming fire from ranged enemies, be swarmed by melee, or face an enemy good at interrupting. Burny Choppa is pretty much the same.

Try interrupting Abaddon's Grace at range. Let me know how well that works for you. Hunter's Mark? Ick.

  10. Even in a thread about an insanely good LSM weapon, LSM players are somehow victims. How do you do it, guys?
