Ah okay, becouse in the Fuedal japan, the some of the best "ninja clans" would actually commit suicide when discovered by warriors such as Samurai, so i just hope people dont take the more popuralised warriors assassin
Well since the class choices are limited to one (as per first post on the page), you can only hope that I don't take popular warrior assassins But srsly now, if it goes live I'll customize my own char to something I prefer
Ofc, I like history too That's why I think I still need some time to think about this char, because I don't think I'll get too deep into lore, since it is a fantasy world after all. So perhaps, a more "romanced" (lite) version of a person like spy\assassin will be in order.
OOhhhh, if only I had the time for this! I'll probably read through this RP even though I shouldn't, I really hope it works out for you guys! As for the whole Asian or Western centric RP, my suggestion would be to make one/two of the clans/houses more Western or middle eastern. The only problem then is you've got the whole knight vs samurai debate

Or something akin to the Portuguese who had a strong western and Christian influence on some families - even today many Japanese are Christian as a secondary confession!
The idea was this guys: Wh40k. Feudal World. Fantasy. Number One. Feudal Worlds exist in Wh40k, they are like medieval times but they are within Wh40k. Imagine you go to a renaissance festival but with your normal 21st century clothes. Boom. Now you know the relationship between normal Imperials and Feudals. Feudals technological level wise are 5th-14th century europe whereas the 'high tech feudals' are spamming blackpowder stuff more around 16th-17th century. Therefor there would be no Japans history. No Europes history, nothing at all. Everybody talks darn Gothic, everyone praises the Emperor as God (just like the christians did), etc. I just wanted RL reference to get my own fix since I would love a RotK RP or a SJ RP. But since I cannot have it, given that ppl would either be too free or too history correct about it, or it going straight out insane like Dynasty Warriors, I decided against it. Also I wanted to keep it Wh40k-y here instead of going Original Setting again. Look at even the classes/roles. I called the Consort-Consort, not Geisha. I called the Lord, Lord - not Daimyo. I called the Lieutenant-General, Lieutenant-General. The only thing is the darn RP name. So I do this now waaaaay more clear, though I would have expected that 'Feudal World RP' would have clarified it alone, that it is settled on an own world within the Wh40k universe. And yes, Aliens could be seen as demons or other mythical figures in their eyes. Either way - new thread.
