People said not to doomsay the support changes.... well there it is....total crap...like expected. From the "nerfing intent" to reduce the amount of supports, it reached the point, that almost no one wants to play support. A game that in every other corner...wants to enforce team play....fucks up the teamplayer. And instead of working the healing and support abilities first...they rather nerf suvivability to shit first. Not to blow your minds but...an apothecary grenade, might be more durable than you.....and it can't be hit in melee. And after the apothecary dies, it can still heal your team and self....So....you get the point. Replace AS and warlock for a grenade with legs....Might get better survivability out of it
Maybe now sorc spells can get buffed up to proper offence levels. I for one want booger blaster to actually be useful now!
booger blaster ---> stream of corruption? And burp chaingun -----> tickeling fire? I really hope they give us decent support mechanics, and decent offensive spells, to compensate for such drastic durability and offensive nerf. Bring back the spice for this class
People complaining about Sorc/Lock being bad, meanwhile Wolf Priest literally worst class in the game. *Shrug*
Painboy has better sidearms in a lower TTK patch, more innate HP(I think), and poison grenades. Wolf Priest has a slow as molassis going uphill in a snowstorm bargain bin mace, and healing nades. Bolt pistol/Plasma pistol? Sure.. Dakka still better son, always better. Best pistol in the game babyboy.
Wolfpriest is just another page in the same Book, the Book called "Fuck you and your support classes" He at least got a means to remote-heal, a failsafe healing grenade that can help... but why taking Wolfpriest when you could be an apothecary with a Bolter? (Apothecarys are also bad, but having a reliable Range-Weapon does help a lot)
Wolf Priest is more a statement on the current state of melee weapons, it feels like you go sword or fist. Everything else is trash
I was asking myself that very question earlier. I don't even really play Wolf priest, but I feel bad for the ones that are FORCED to currently.
